Have used Go simple for about 5-6yrs now. Love it! Would be lost without it

FROM THE START, YESTERDAY THROUGH TO THIS EVENING, THEY WERE ALL SO HELPFUL. IT IS NEW SOFTWARE FOR ME. MANY QUESTIONS. ALL ANSWERED WITH PATIENCE, POLITENESS AND PROFESSIONALISM. SOFTWARE IS SO USER FRIENDLY. I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOSIMPLE TAX.

It was very straight forward to use this service.
Gosimple are always there to help and guide you.
I think it's a fabulous service.

Very simple with immediate upload to HMRC site. As a government verified provider I was comfortable trying them. The software I used for years has unfortunately been bought by a large company and it is much more complicated now. I was happy to find GoSimpleTax.

The platform was pretty easy to use and it gives tips and explanations of what to put for all major questions. The submission confirmation is received instantly from both the platform and from HMRC website, which is comforting. I used for the first time as I had to file an SA109 form for the first time which was a bit of a faff to do by mail so these commercial softwares are the only way to do it online.

It would have been nice if it gave you explanations for each individual question. I had to use AI (Chatgpt, Gemini, etc) to clarify a lot of questions on the forms that were not clear and didn't have much explanations in the pop ups on the platform. I hope in the following years they would provide some sort of AI integration that would make people's lives much easier.

Simple and easy to use. Worth using year on year as you are able to sense check against previous year's returns. Doing your tax return with GoSimpleTax really isn't taxing.

Compared to completing this directly into the HMRC website this platform is brilliant and intuitive to use. It is very well supported by the Chatbot, and when a human response was required to a more complex query, I received a prompt and clear response. After a few years of unfortunate experiences with Tax Consultants, I found this platform brilliant and highly recommend it.

I have been using GST for about 10 years now and their name is accurate if a bit of a mouthful. They have managed to make doing the Self Assessment and submitting one's return simple. I am remembered accurately from year to year and it is still possible to contact a real human being and one who can give immediate, intelligent support. So why only 4 stars. Because there is now a chat button which could become a bot and because my experience of newish companies which do well is that they can lower their standards/become more expensive very easily (this one has already put its prices up more than I expected). So my advice is use this outfit but keep a wary eye out for the contraction of direct human contact and for the inflation of your costs.

So glad I found GoSimpleTax. So user friendly and quick to use . Second year using it and I will definitely use again next year

GoSimpleTax is extremely easy to use and their online help is quick and helpful. Messaging questions or asking for help are responded by their team almost immediate. I have been using this online tax filing tool for the past 7 years and so far, had no issues at all. I would highly recommend them.

I have used GoSimpleTax for a couple of years now and am very pleased with it.

Easy and convenient to fill out your return and upload it to HMRC. It's cut out a lot of the stress for me.

Easy to sign up to and use with limited time and knowledge, super helpful chat function. As a non-UK resident this made it possible to do something I couldn't do via the HMRC site which was amazing.

Totally recommend! I had to switch to new software this year after Taxfiler abandoned all! Last minute panic to find an alternate and very happy I found Go Simple Tax. I could pay for 2 submissions (me and wife’s) which made easier and copy duplicate data between returns. The site was intuitive enough to use and has a lot of help tags etc. The ‘coconut’ help bot needs a bit of work, but fortunately I didn’t need much support. Thank you!!

I had a problem submitting my return. I sent an email to support and Mike got back very quickly. He liaised with his technical support team and resolved the problem extremely quickly. It was a small error on our part and once corrected, the submission was sent without a hitch.

Simple and speedy - thank you

Very good experience overall. Only annoyance was that it didn't load the correct form for the new tax return, which was confusing. Other than that, really user friendly.
