It's very good. The only issue i have is if you pay manually before the allowance is due to your child, you are hit with allowance reminders through email/texts it wasn't paid directly through them.

GoHenry is designed as a prepaid account for children rather than a full bank account, so some features, like cheque deposits or certain types of transfers, may be more limited than you’d expect. We appreciate how this could feel restrictive.

If you’d like to transfer money out of your account, you can do this directly in the app. Simply follow the steps shown in this short “Back to Bank” video:

Trying to cancel account as we have set…

Trying to cancel account as we have set up free account elsewhere. GoHenry has made this as difficult as possible with the app saying there is an error and I have to call a number, the number is an automated system that sent me a link to the app where again it had the same error and sent me to the telephone number. Been sent in circles!

1. Login to your Acorns Early account on the app
2. Tap ‘Money’ at the bottom of the screen
3. Tap on the relevant child shown at the top of your screen
4. Tap the ‘Card’ option
5. The child’s statement will be displayed underneath the image of their card

Regarding the payment schedules, please rest assured that you can always amend the payment date by following these steps:

1. Login to your Acorns Early account on the app
2. Tap ‘Money’ at the bottom of the screen
3. Tap on the relevant child shown at the top of your screen
4. Tap the ‘Allowance’ option
5. Tap ‘Weekly Allowance’
6. Tap the amount under the relevant child’s name to amend this / Tap ‘Allowance day’ to amend allowance payment day

As discussed, we can see that you attempted to close your account via our in-app cancellation feature. However, a 3-month free membership offer was accepted at that time. As this promotional period has now ended and the account remained active, the membership fee for May was applied.

I have now refunded this charge, as I understand your intention was to cancel the account. Your account has been successfully closed, and any remaining balance will be returned to your stored debit card on file.
