Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 74 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers reported payments of £40.56 being debited or attempted from their accounts that they did not recall authorizing, often without any prior knowledge of the company or having subscribed to any service. People frequently discovered these transactions through their bank's alerts or by checking their statements. Reviewers expressed frustration over unexpected charges and the recurring nature of these attempts. Many had to contact their banks to block further payments, cancel services they did not recall initiating, and often had to replace their debit cards. The company's website was described as vague, offering little clarity on their services, and attempts to contact them for refunds or cancellations were often met with unresponsiveness or limited options. While some banks were proactive in blocking or refunding these payments, other customers faced difficulties in getting their banks to resolve the transactions, especially if Apple Pay was involved.

Payment Scam

Noticed an unexpected pending payment of £40.56 to this company from my bank account, have challenges the payment via my bank. I know nothing about this business and have never made any purchase from them. Their website exists but is very vague, as other reviews have said this is a scam.

This company tried taking £40.56 from my account 3 times in 2 days. Luckily I’m on the ball ,regularly checking my emails and banking app due to being scammed before. I’m on holiday in Gran Canaria and used the local spar each occasion using my card. Not sure if this is linked . Beware !!!

YOU CAN CANCEL THE PAYMENT

YOU CAN CANCEL THE PAYMENT, CHECK YOUR INBOX
This is definitely a fraud, it has just now happened to me too. I got a notification from the bank with the payment I never made. I never accessed that website. BUT they do send an email with a link which you can click and then they give the option to cancel the payment/subscription. And you will get a refund

Hey husband was checking his CCstatement when he noticed a payment for £40.56. He knows nothing about gocarehelp and hasn't signed up to anything. He did make a payment to Zedge recently so we're not sure if it's connected. After a call to Capital One, they've blocked any more payment and will refund the money.
Absolutely no idea how they've got his card details. Apparently, it is a subscription service for health care.

I have no idea how gocarehelp.com scam gocarehelp.com

This company randomly appeared in my statement and started billing me since Jan £29.99 pcm. I complained to my credit card who have been unhelpful and it’s now with the financial ombudsman. I had an email. No website to cancel. To be fair I don’t want to contact a scammer. My bank gave me some charge backs and said they had only spoke to someone a day before to say that they had heard of this company and believe it is a fraud. The credit card say no fraud. It’s not ok as I have received no product or service and do not recall signing up for it.

This is a big scam . Avoid at all costs . Our bank is investigating them for fraud and theft . Somehow they got hold of my husband’s email address and bank details and signed us up for a monthly subscription of £40.56 . We have no idea of what they are and what they offer .

Foretell monthly scam payment of £29.99 suddenly…

Debit payment of £29.99 suddenly appeared on my bank ststements. Started in February and just noticed it todsy. Had to phone bank to stop monthly payments and get replacement debut card. Seemingly bank block only lasts for 13 months so, hopefully, the new 26 digit number will stop scam for good. Bank statement says "Authorisation : Unavailsble" but not sure if bank is going to refund mkney.
