Our small business used Global Payments from 2019-25. Their per-transaction fees are cheap, but overall, they have cost us more than other providers. They refused to replace faulty terminals unless we extended our agreement. Also, watch for additional charges on your bills and read the small print in the agreement carefully! We were charged a restocking fee of £422 at the end of our contract for 4 terminals, even though we only had 2 (faulty ones)! We have tried for 6 months to get a refund for the money they took from our bank account. We were lied to on the phone—we were given a date twice for when we would receive the refund, but it was never paid. The only options left are the Financial Ombudsman or the small claims court.
STILL UNRESOLVED.

Do not use this company, shut my account down as the £12 monthly fee got declined, they made no effort to contact me regarding this and just shut my account down, threatening debt collection over £20, getting hold of someone is impossible.

Spoke to Azizi Arthur in Renewals to get our fees reduced as we realised we were paying too much compared to other providers. We had our rates reviewed and reduced down to a reasonable amount. So we decided to stay with them. Great customer service and experience all round.

He made the process of changing my business from a sole trader to a limited company much easier than I expected. Quickly sorted out all the new card terminals for my two locations, swapped over my contracts and explained everything, kept me informed by email

Wanted an upgrade to our card machine, I got in touch with Global Payments and spoke to Sarita Parmar who at once sorted this out. In a few days I had received the new card machine and setup was so easy Sarita also looked into the charges side and I was offered attractive rates which i was happy to accept.
