The website is awful when you try frames on. The AI message box is effectively in the way of the button that minimizes the frame to fit your face. Your website effectively kept me from ordering. A reply here will not help your cause. I tried with the AI and it refused to relay the complaint. You need a better system than someone sending a message only to be told to send another message. I'll just report your awful website and lack of customer support here.

I have been using this optical shop for several years now, and I have always been very satisfied with the service. The quality of the glasses and the overall professionalism are excellent, but what impresses me the most is the genuine attention they give to every customer. They always take their time, never rush the process, and make sure every detail is carefully considered. I really appreciate the patience, the personal approach, and the level of care they show throughout the whole experience. Their attention to detail is outstanding, and it is clear that customer satisfaction truly matters to them. On top of that, the discounts they offer are a very nice bonus and make the whole experience even better. If you are looking for high quality, excellent service, and people who truly care about their customers, I would definitely recommend this optical shop.

Very friendly and helpful service and excellent value. I had bought varifocal glasses from a well known optician but was unhappy with them and after a couple of days decided to return them and find something better. The staff in the Glasses Shop helped me to choose a much nicer frame for a better price. I got my varifocals the following week and am delighted. Not only is the frame more flattering, the lenses are so much better than I've ever had before. The field of vision is so good they don't even feel like varifocals, none of that wavy vision you usually get until you get used to them, they felt right immediately. I will certainly go there again in future.

This company is owned and operated by inexperienced racists. I have seen posts across social media where they actively spread hate and racism. I would avoid this company like the plague. Also to add insult to injury, from others I’ve spoken to about them, I have gathered that their workmanship is terrible too.

Had my wooden front door replaced after burgulary with a UPVC double glazed door from the The Glass Shop The work was done in matters of hours and carriedout professionally and efficiently. They were very respectful of my home and cleaned up thier mess. The choice of door they recommend as a replacement has significantly improved the beauty of my home and bought more light in the hallway once dim and dark. I definitely want to recommend The Glass Shop for windows and doors.

I have just used The Glasses Shop in Guildford for the first time, introduced by my wife who has used them twice before. I don't do many reviews as there are only a few standout companies on the planet. This is one of them. They were pleasant, friendly, informative, very competitive on price and at no point was I rushed or steered in a particular direction. I cannot fault their service and would throughly recommend them.

From the moment that my husband and I stepped into the store we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. I needed new glasses and have always gone to SpecSavers - never again! I purchased 2 pairs of Tiffany glasses (verifocals/sunglasses) - the price was cheaper that other Opticians. It was the first pair I tried on, James (who served me), suggested some other options - which were considerably cheaper, but I went for the Tiffany pair. No hard sell, very laid back, very friendly and lovely to have good customer service from an independent shop. I would definately recommend and use again! Thank you x

Why didn't I find this shop years ago? I'm blown away by the quality and service I received from James and Mike. I wear varifocal glasses and this is the first time in over two decades that I had a pair that fitted so perfectly.
And it cost a fraction of what one would pay at other High Street opticians.

I cannot speak highly of this store. If you want good service, unhurried time to choose your frames and of course, the price, this is where you need to head to with your prescription.

Why am I so effusive about them? I went there to have my glasses cut and in my conversation, I complained about my reading glasses. Mike took a frame of the display, when into the back room and came out with a pair of reading glasses cut to my prescription in less than 15 minutes. AND he gifted it to me. I was taken aback by his generosity and care.

Good old fashioned customer service. No pressure and the staff gave myself and my wife their full attention and assistance.

Eye test was the most thorough and accurate I have ever had in over 55 years of wearing glasses.

No pressure sales. Tom helped my wife and I to secure the best glasses and frames for our needs at a price that makes other opticians look like rip off merchants.

After over 25 years with a well known high street brand our only regret is that we did not jump ship sooner, we would have saved a fortune.

Optical shopping now sorted.

Very relaxed and professional service. I had no hard sell just genuine facts about what lenses I needed and what shape of spectacle would suit my face shape. I would highly recommend this company.

Definitely recommend this shop.
I've been wearing glasses most of my life. Needed a new pair of varifocals. This company came recommended so I thought I'd give them a try. Not disappointed. James was very experienced in choosing a few frames to suit my facial features, and did such a good job that it was difficult to choose two as they were all very nice.
He was also very patient in adjusting my glasses to ensure they fitted well before I left the shop.
Prices are very competitive and I have no reservations in recommending this shop for new glasses.

5 stars ..outstanding service.Their staff were more then happy to help me with making my choices for frames which there was lots to choose from and for the best type of lenses for what I needed ...Their price couldn't have been beaten and overall I enjoyed my experience didn't feel rushed was helped every step of the way ...Will definitely be recommending to all family and friends ...
