GIOVANCO - "fundamental disregard" with "lack of business integrity" and upgraded "substandard" to "dishonest resolution"

[0/5 Stars] Critical Delivery Failure and Substandard Customer Resolution
​This review concerns a purchase that was ultimately lost due to a catastrophic failure in delivery protocol, followed by an unacceptable resolution from Giovanco.
​The Incident:
The package was designated for an apartment building, which requires secured delivery (e.g., a locked mailroom, reception, or in-person handover). Instead, the delivery carrier left the parcel unattended outside the main communal door of the building. ( which is very busy street ) Drop-off confirmation was provided only via a photograph of the package sitting exposed at the entrance. Predictably, the package was subsequently stolen or lost from this highly unsecure location shortly after the photo was taken.
​This unauthorized drop-off outside a multi-unit building is a clear act of negligence that directly resulted in the loss of the purchased goods.
​Resolution and Customer Service:
After engaging in a lengthy, frustrating dispute process, Giovanco ultimately failed to take full responsibility for the loss caused by their chosen carrier's inadequate practices. Despite the clear evidence that the package was lost due to poor delivery security, I was only issued a 50% refund for the item.
​Requiring a customer to bear half the financial burden (a 50% loss) for a package that was completely lost due to the vendor's supply chain negligence is wholly unacceptable. When a vendor cannot ensure secure delivery, they should provide a full refund. This policy demonstrates a fundamental disregard for customer protection and risk management. I caution other customers against ordering if they live in an area that requires secured delivery.

Thinking of going for legal action against these guys. They should be banned doing online business

The refund policy is to give you 30% of what you paid and no possibility of doing a refund. The quality is super cheap and I wish I never was introduced to this company. I ordered 3 jackets and all 3 were horrible. Please do not waste or time or money with this company. All the 5 star review you see are absolutely fake.

This company operates out of China

This company operates out of China. They may ship your product to you, they may not. I ordered a single item a month ago and it still isn’t here. Their customer service uses a translator to speak to customers in the U.S. Stay away from these guys.

DON’T DO IT!!!!!!

The suit jacket I ordered came in for 1 it was the wrong color how do you get brown confused with purple? The material was like picnic table cloth didn’t hold up when I stretched it tore as if I was a superhero. Cheaply made cheaply put together. I was so dissatisfied/ disappointed to the point where I threw it away in my outside trash can. It was very disgusting and distasteful. I wouldn’t recommend this seller to a dog. Fake pictures on the website the pictures they use is also on several other websites. Another scam store if I could leave 0 stars I would!!!
