Really pleasant experience from the first few minutes of walking in to returning to buy the chosen products, very helpful and knowledgeable which helped.

On Saturday 25/07/2025, my wife and I visited the furniture department at the Broughty Ferry shop where we were assisted by Claire in ordering an electric recliner. Our experience was superb, the efficient and friendly customer service was excellent throughout. Thanks for the coffee Claire ☕️ 👏👏

I visited gillies last week, to have a browse.
Bobi was most helpful and at the same time gave me plenty space to look and try chairs and settees, no push for a sale which made me feel very comfortable.
I returned a couple of days later and purchased the suite I had liked .
Very happy with Gillies .

The furniture was ultimately available for delivery within the timescales advised by Stephen (the fact that I was on holiday meant that I could not accept delivery as soon as it was offered).
Your delivery team of Steve and Brian made swift and light work of unloading and getting the furniture into my living room yesterday morning (within the notified time slot) despite having to take the settee though my garage after we discovered that my front door was a little too narrow to allow it to pass through without risking the settee being scratched by the rendering around the doorway.
This was my first purchase from Gillies and I am pleased to note that your staff lived up to the company’s excellent reputation.
