They will not give your money back like the guarantee.... Always an excuse.. An I have all this documented in emails and texts. So many things went wrong here. They set you up with a Basecamp account to look professional but no one answers that and the contacts say they don't like using it. Then why set it up? At 1st they gave me a deal to split up payments which was good. After all the negative reviews about ghostwriting, I didn't want to pay up front in-case there was an issue. 1st they said the writers were in LA, that was wedding photos a lie. Once I spoke with the 1st representative who was going to help me write, i knew there was an issue. I sent in the questions they asked and my book was tech based. They sent me a book cover with wedding photos. Raymond said, "well isn't that what your book is about?" I asked if he actually read my answers. He didn't. I then asked to me switched to someone else. Now I got Brian and he was better at speaking with me but the book didn't get any better. It took them over 2 weeks to get an outline finished that I gave them. While I was waiting on the outline, I wrote 20k words for the book. Once we got the outline, they butchered the timeline. The language/cultural barrier was becoming evident. I decided to give one more chance. I gave them the 1st chapter to flare up. They completely butchered that as well and the flow was terrible. I then asked to cancel. They tried to say they would change writers but the process with them was way to stressful so I declined. Then I had a call with their compliance and they said they would refund my cc in 10 days. It has now been almost 20 days and they wont return calls. After I posted this review, they tried to flag it. I have all the documentation to verify my issue.

I tried to take a shortcut buy going cheap and it was a terrible mistake. I cannot say for sure but after more research, it looks like some of these ghostwriting companies just change names when they start getting reviews like mine. I ended up paying more for a more up front company that didn't lie.

So they finally gave me my money back. But only after I posted this review. They flagged this comment and want it taken down but I will not. People need to know the truth and that's what these review sites are for.

Communication each step of the way is what helped make the experience great. Polite service, ( No crankiness) helped when I did not have a proper laptop to communicate answers. As a result causing ghost proficiency more time and effort but they continued to be helpful. I would say speedy answers to questions and the right price helped me personally. I’d like to come back for my next novel.

I have really enjoyed the help from this company. They have kept me in the loop on everything and made sure that I know what's going on. I would recommend them to anyone.

The price was very good and the effort was fine.
But when I was told the job was complete I was very disappointed that the agreement we had did not include putting a paperback book on google marketplace. As far as I knew the contract said a paperback and ebook would be uploaded onto google but the manager I worked with refused to honor the agreement.
Even though they came up short on their agreement I am satisfied that my books are also on the Barnes and Nobles website.

I would like to wait until I am finished with my first writing project with Ghostwriting Proficiency until writing a very detailed review for them. I have some suggestions for improvement, but all in all, they are a good and honest company.

My experience with this company was satisfying. They were prompt, patient and extremely responsive. I will use them again
