⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Disappointed: Wrong Product, Late Delivery, Additional Costs, and Poor Customer Experience
I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from GetNameNecklace and feel compelled to warn other customers before they spend their money with this company.
I placed my order on 11 June as a Father's Day gift for my husband. I specifically ordered a military green unisex long-sleeve sweatshirt/hoodie in size XL and paid an additional amount of more than R500 for expedited shipping, which was advertised as arriving within approximately five business days.
Father's Day was on 21 June. Despite paying for expedited shipping, my order only arrived on 2 July, nearly three weeks after the order was placed and long after the occasion for which it was intended.
The problems did not end there.
I was assured that customs documentation would be handled by the company's team for FedEx. Instead, I had to prepare and submit customs documentation myself and was required to pay additional import and administration fees. This created unnecessary delays, inconvenience, and unexpected costs.
Most concerning of all, the item I received is completely different from the product I ordered.
What I ordered: • Military green unisex long-sleeve sweatshirt/hoodie • Size XL
What I received: • Bright green short-sleeve T-shirt • Size 2XL
The colour is completely different from the military green advertised. The style is completely different from the sweatshirt/hoodie shown on the website. The size is incorrect. In every possible respect, I received the wrong product.
I have photographs of both the item advertised and the item received, and the difference is undeniable.
I am also concerned by the company's representations regarding its location. The website prominently references a London address and UK company registration number, while other information on the website indicates that the business was founded and is based in Hong Kong. As a customer, I found this confusing and misleading when trying to understand who I was purchasing from.
Customers should not have to: • Pay extra for expedited shipping that is not honoured. • Wait weeks for delivery. • Complete customs processes themselves after being told this would be handled. • Pay additional import and administration fees. • Receive a completely different product from what was ordered.
This has been one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I have ever had. I am requesting a full refund, including the expedited shipping costs and any additional charges incurred as a result of this order.
Unless this matter is resolved promptly, I will be escalating my complaint through the appropriate consumer protection channels and will continue sharing my experience on public review platforms so that other consumers can make informed purchasing decisions.

Necklace in general looks nice, it isn’t very easy to see the photo through the little hole you have to really put it up to the light and really look hard but then you can’t see all the picture any way you have to move it around to see the other half of it. I ordered this product on the 3rd of June. None stop emails back and forth with the company as it was a present for Father’s Day, constant assurance it was coming at some point, that’s all they could tell me. I’ve been checking the tracking information (i paid extra for) every single day. After almost a month I see it’s nearISH to me today so make sure I’m in ALL day! It now gets to the evening so I check how it’s doing and it’s being returned!!!! It says they couldn’t delivery it so they’ve returned it back to sender! No time slot or anything for it arriving but I made sure I’m here all day incase, yet still they say I wasnt in so are returning! All I have wanted during this entire time is my order, not even a refund! Now I still haven’t got the order and my the looks of it I never will! I don’t even know what’s happening after this as I can’t seem to actually talk to anyone to find out what’s going on! Distraught and upset is a complete understatement!

The throw is lovely but the date of mum snd dad’s wedding anniversary is all squashed together as one word.Also I went on live chat it does not exist.Very disappointed this was a gift for my aged parents who have been married for 71years and it is spoilt.
Shocking customer service
Ordered from this company and chose the 6-9 day delivery option. Nearly a month later I am yet to receive my purchases, correspondence from the company has been shocking and all I'm getting is a string of excuses. Why as a company do you offer a service you can't fulfil is confusing to me ! After looking at some other reviews I can see this is happening a lot of people .
