Intransparent pricing. I prepared a Powerpoint presentation - even though I gave precise prompts - the design and layout were bad - I had to go through many iterations to correct it. Everytime, genspark.ai asked me to upgrade my subscription (buying additional credits).

Potentially it is a good tool, however the pricing is very intransparent and expensive.

Genspark AI is an organization of scammers and pickpockets. I paid $25 for a subscription that was used up in less than two hours. After that, I decided not to renew it. The next month, I discovered they attempted to charge $25 to my credit card, but I didn't have enough credit. I then closed my account because I couldn't disable the recurring payment from their panel. I sent them a clarification request about the unauthorized payment attempts, but I have received no response in four days. To my surprise, they blocked my account and charged me $25 again, yet I have no access to my forced subscription. I do not recommend using this company's services. I will contact my bank to stop recurring payment . Never trust this kind of companies with no ethics and no support at all . Wiping your account means that your data including payment data will be deleted according to international laws and GDPR regulations . I don't recommend dealing with fraudulent and fake scamming business .

The initial use of Genspark as an AI platform was okay, but over several months it just hasn't kept pace with others.
So I decided to unsubscribe and cannot find the Manage Plan on the website! The only way to do so is via an email. This is just wrong for what is now a failing platform

I initially subscribed on January 22, 2026 for $27.49/month. Since I didn’t have sufficient credits at times, the payment was processed through my card, which I understood.

On February 22, 2026, I was correctly charged $27.49 again.

However, things became unreasonable after that:

On March 22, 2026, I was suddenly charged $54.99 without any clear notice or consent.
On April 22, 2026, the charge doubled again to $109.99, which is completely unacceptable.

I never agreed to any upgrade or price increase. There was no clear explanation or authorization for these escalating charges.

I submitted a refund request on April 22, 2026, and only received an automated AI response. As of April 27, 2026, I have received no follow-up or resolution.

This lack of transparency and customer support is extremely disappointing and feels highly unethical.

I strongly urge the company to address this issue immediately and process my refund.

Genspark falsely advertised their AI Image Agent as "zero credit cost" while secretly charging approximately $50/month in additional credits, then when confronted with detailed evidence and regulatory complaints, they ignored resolution requests and cancelled my subscription without authorization to avoid accountability.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. They need to use AI to solve their billing issues. I subscribed got billed double. When I requested a refund for my money I got a message that it would take a week for them to get back to me. It still has not happened. "DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY". And i never got access to their full unlimited product. I had to file a claim with the credit card company and close that credit card. Believe me there is a reason they have a 1.6 star review, they earned it! You have been warned!

My experience has been positive with them. Their support team tried everything possible to help me. They refunded the amount and also provided extra credits. I wanted to post this review to showcase that their team is putting extra effort to win their customer base.

I am a genuine user. This is an extremely lousy and rogue software. I purchased an annual subscription, but my points keep getting reset to zero for no reason, deducted without cause, and the terms are changed arbitrarily. It clearly promised unlimited image generation, but after just one month, it turned into **nanobanana** with limits and extra charges. It also claimed unlimited AI Chat usage, yet after resetting my points for no reason, I am denied access. There is no detailed breakdown of point usage—whatever they say is how much I’ve spent. On April 18th, I had 21,000 points, which I only used to create one PPT and four images, yet my points were cleared entirely. Customer support is unresponsive, refunds are refused, and emails go unanswered. This is a fraudulent company that takes money and provides no service. I have tried reaching out to support repeatedly with no progress, yet my money has been wasted like this!!

I requested cancellation of my subscription on April 2, 2026, before the renewal date. Despite this, Genspark charged me $29.99 on April 7, 2026.

Since then, I have contacted support multiple times, sent the invoices repeatedly, and clearly explained that the subscription email and the billing email are different. Nevertheless, I kept receiving the same generic responses and no concrete action.

I have now formally given Genspark 48 hours to:

* cancel my subscription immediately;
* refund the $29.99 charged on April 7;
* confirm that I will not be charged again on May 7.

If this is not done within that timeframe, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter through the relevant consumer protection authorities.

Very disappointing and unacceptable customer support experience!

My experience with Genspark AI Workspace was extremely disappointing. While the platform has some good ideas, the actual performance is far from acceptable. After multiple attempts to generate a simple ZIP file containing my designs, the system repeatedly failed and kept consuming my credits with no results. Only after wasting time and money did it finally admit that it cannot create ZIP download links at all.

The AI even acknowledged its failure, stating clearly that it “wasted my time and money” and should have been upfront from the beginning. This level of transparency should have come before the repeated failed attempts, not after.

Additionally, the platform could not generate a proper transparent-background logo, even though this is a basic feature for any design tool. The output I received was not transparent, despite the system claiming it was.

Overall, the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and unreliable. I cannot recommend Genspark AI Workspace for any serious design or production work.

This company is a scam and nightmare. First, it doesn't work at all and second, it would not refund my money even all tasks never worked for me.

This is my second time with an ai program, first being pollo.ai. Which wasn't any good for what I need done. Which is working on videos for an up coming game that is currently under development.
While genspark Claw is a great program, your credits are consumed EXTREMELY fast! There is a process with all the ai, you have to get images made first and then work into videos. Mind you, also have feed it all the information that you have in regards to the project your working. What ever it may be, for me, it is video clips. I exhausted all my credits,11,000, within 7hrs of work. Without even getting a video finished. So today I paid for an extra 11,000 credits. I used those up with only getting one video accepted and not finalized. Those 11,000 credits disappeared within 90min. I just paid for another 11,000 credits, half those credits were gone in 2 min.
I started with the basic plan, 24.95/mth. I then got the "claw" directly after, 9.99/mth. That is $35/mth. My next month bill jumped to 74.99/mth. NOw with this 3rd add to credits, it is 99.99/mth. That has only brought me to be able to watch each 14 video clips to approve or not. Forget being able to finalize yet!
So the reason why I gave a 2 star is because the "Claw" ai program they have is a great program. It has the potential to great things! But.....genspark made it so it is too expensive to use. Well, too expensive for little O' me.
This is my experience with "Genspark.ai" and the "Claw" ai they provide for a monthly fee, on top of the fee for "genspark" membership.
IF you have the money to blow a hundred a month or more, then this is for you. I do not.
I will use up what I got left for credits here in just a few minutes. Then I will be deleting my account and search for one that fits my needs.

I signed up for the annual Plus plan in February 2026 because of the "Unlimited AI Chat" promise. There were NO session limits at the time.

Two months later, they silently introduced aggressive rate limits. Now I get locked out every ~2 hours and have to wait another 2 hours to use it again. This is not what I paid for.

To make it worse:

- No prior notice before the change
- Support emails go completely unanswered
- The pricing page STILL says "Unlimited"
- Reddit (r/genspark_ai) is flooded with the same complaints — ignored refund requests, phantom credit drains, accounts suspended without explanation

This is a textbook bait-and-switch. Avoid the annual plan at all costs.

Terrible product and worse customer service. Would you like a slideshow developed with upside down page numbers, inconsistent visuals and an AI incapable of fixing these issues? Then this product is for you. Bonus points to the customer service for not giving a crap about customer satisfaction. They’ll offer more credits to use their faulty product. Lol. Useless

Tool is great and I used to run my whole agency off it, but lately they have clearly jacked up the token usage and what used to last me a good month now barely lasts me 1 week for the same usage. There is a total opacity on how tokens are billed and this sucks, hence the reason why I spent 20 hours setting up OpenClaw with various agents and APIs to achieve the same, for now a fraction of the price.

Their support is garbage and non existent. A decent tool destroyed by greed I guess. Do not waste your time and set everything up using Claude, OpenClaw, APIs/connectors/MCP servers to achieve the same..

PS: Trying to add a screenshot showing that I have an account and have used the app as they are trying to get my review removed, but Trustpilot won’t let me. Trustpilot is the worst place to read reviews online, it’s all fake here…

The ads appeared to promise something extraordinary, but after subscribing, I burned through my credits in just 30 minutes, without any valuable material to show for it. I immediately canceled because once your credits are gone, the app becomes completely pointless. I strongly believe free GPT would outperform this service by far.

Well, their PowerPoint creation was extraordinarily slow. The result was very good. However, dealing with their customer service has been a nightmare. I would not recommend their service to anyone. Their product is not worth the horrible relationship relationships they create.

The image generators don't work as they should, the nano banana works better on gemini chat on the free plan. Also they advertised unlimited chats and images and that's not the case. They cap you after some chats. Dissapointed.

I cancelled my subscription within days of signing up and even went as far as deleting my account. Despite that, they have continued trying to take money from my card over a month later, multiple times a day.

I now have no access to my account, so I can’t even manage or stop anything myself, and their support is completely unresponsive. I’ve sent countless emails and even raised a formal complaint — still nothing. No reply, no resolution, just repeated payment attempts.

This has been an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience. No company should be attempting to charge customers after cancellation, especially when there’s no way to contact them or fix the issue.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying well away. There are far better, more trustworthy services out there that don’t put you through this kind of situation.
