We manufacture a variety of styles of wooden gates to suit all entrances. Nearly all can be made to measure in both width and height. We supply them in kiln dried hardwood or softwood, timber specifically chosen for its quality and durability. As we’ve grown through the years since we started in 1982 we have become a highly successful wooden gate manufacturer, yet we are still a small family business with the same values as when we started.

Waste of time
I tried to get a price for a set of hardwood gates, sent the details, waited two days, called several times and calls not returned, no price so went elsewhere. Complete waste of time.

Zero Customer Service - Buyer Beware
Gatewrights gates look amazing and the quality is superb. However if something goes wrong you are on your own. I was told "It was fine when it left our workshop" which is an interesting way to view customer service and therefore you can assume there is no guarantee.
There are other companies that offer the same quality with amazing customer service.

More than helpful.
I contacted Gatewrights about 2 weeks before Christmas with an order for a gate. Due to my mistake I thought that the delivery would be made before Christmas (as it was going to be a Christmas present) however it turned out to be mid-January. When i rang them to see if there was anything they could do they could not have been more helpful and managed to make the gate (non-standard size) and get it to me in time. The quality of the build was also excellent.
A very happy customer and a very happy recipient of the present!

superbly made
I needed a good solid gate for my sideway to keep the riff raff out.As it was extra wide I was going to make one up (carpenter you see).Just browsing one day I came across this site and decided to take a chance. Well I can hardly buy the stuff for what they charged. Superb quality.Only one thing to watch and that is the long lead time,but that means they are busy busy.
All delivered on time.Well done!
