Good but your followings will be insane
So I decided to try Gainsty after reading the reviews here. And I will start by saying they do deliver on the basics. Getting you actual, real followers based on "reference" accounts you provide, basically by using your account to start following everyone who follows your target accounts, which is something any of us could do, but you basically have someone saving you the time to do so.
I was convinced to try out the service especially because they claimed to unfollow the users who don't follow you back after 3 days of no interaction, and unfortunately this simply isn't the case. My followings started growing and growing and never decreased. The first time I contacted the "account manager" on whatsapp, they told me to give it a few weeks while everything adjusts, so I gave it a month. After seeing no change, wrote again, was told they would make the adjustments. After nothing changed, I decided to change the growth mode to UNFOLLOW, cause they do have that as an option, where it offers to only concentrate on unfollowing accounts they've followed and don't follow back.
Waited for a few days. Nothing. So at this point my activity is basically frozen. Since I'm in Unfollow mode, Gainsty is not following any new accounts for me, but they're also not unfollowing anyone. I wrote to them 2 more times and keep getting the same response, that they will make adjustments to make sure it works but days go by and nothing happens. So this means that you pretty much have to do that work by yourself. And that makes the service lose some of its value unfortunately. It was a great promise! But it doesn't work completely well. And now that I've read another review where they simply wiped out ALL of the persons followings (when they also claim that they will never unfollow an account that I've followed myself -how they can keep track of that, I do not know-) I'm now terrified to lose accounts that I do mean to follow. I guess I'll have to switch to "Manual" mode now. Keep this in mind when deciding.

What you described should not happen. When using “Unfollow Mode,” the system is designed to only unfollow accounts platform followed on your behalf, not those you’ve followed manually. We also log every interaction precisely so we can distinguish between the two.
We want to assure you (and anyone else reading) that the case mentioned in another review... where all followings were removed, was a result of the user explicitly requesting us to “unfollow everyone.” It wasn’t done automatically or without given instructions.
That said, we absolutely want to make this right for you. Please email us at support@gainsty.com with the subject “2025-10-Trustpilot” and I’ll personally make sure Marc and his team resolve the issue with your following count.

Blocked by Instagram, Gainsty not compatible with community guidelines
I subscribed to Gainsty during 4 months, and it is true that they DO get you real organic followers, about 200 new followers per month. They access your Instagram account and then start following people, expecting that some of them will follow back. The problem is that you gain about 100 followers for each 500 followings, and that brings your account out of balance. I then asked Gainsty to unfollow those accounts that did not follow back, but then Gainsty bulk unfollowed everyone on my account, including my old school friends... making a huge mess out of my Instagram account (I had NEVER EVER asked for any bulk unfollowing).
Then after 4 months I got informed by Instagram that they detected I'm using Gainsty, and that this kind of services are against Instagram community rules. Instagram menaced to block my account and forced me to change password and cancel Gainsty, losing like this the last monthly payment.
Review edited: After this present review, Gainsty answered me immediately, apologized and reimbursed my last payment. So this was fair and they're definitely not a scam. But it's a shame I had to use Trustpilot to get a fair treatment by Gainsty, after so many emails! In any case THANK YOU TRUSTPILOT!

Charged me after cancelling trial
I signed up for a free trial in Gainsty and cancelled my plan before the trial ended. I received an email confirming the cancelation, however they then charged me for membership for a month in spite of this. Would not recommend, seems like a scam.

Disappointing and Misleading – Waste of Money
I signed up for Gainsty’s Turbo plan after being approached by Chloe, with the promise of gaining around 1,000 followers per month. Instead, my net follower count dropped by 500 — I gained only a few followers while my following count increased drastically.
Marc has been managing my account, but despite repeatedly raising concerns via email and WhatsApp support, I’ve seen no improvement or accountability. Customer support keeps making vague assurances but nothing ever changes.
At this point, it feels like I’ve paid for a service that’s doing more harm than good. If anything, my profile looks worse than before. I regret trusting this platform — the experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and frankly feels like a scam.
Avoid if you value your time, money, or online presence.

Continuous spam despite me requesting them to remove me and that I do not want their business. Am awaiting a response from Chloe to confirm that my domain has been removed from the organisations database. My first email went through and funny enough my followup has been blocked!
Update: They tried to flag this post as defamatory, which seeing other posts written about them I think mine is quite respectful. I also must point out that none of their emails have an opt out option.

As for the Trustpilot review, I respectfully disagree. That platform reflects a user’s complete experience with a business, not just the use of the product. Outreach, tone, and respect for privacy are all valid elements of that experience.

To provide a full story:
• After research from our affiliates, you were contacted twice over a 6-month period (December 2024 and July 2025), each time by a different affiliate. These affiliates are independent partners who promote our service using only publicly available contact details, such as those listed on your website.
• These messages were not spam, nor were they illegal. They were manually written and polite introductions.
• After your reply to one of the affiliates recently in July, your domain was immediately blacklisted across our affiliate system—as required under UK GDPR & PECR. While affiliates are not legally required to reply, they must honour such requests, which they did.
• We also took the initiative to notify all affiliate partners and sent you a written confirmation that your details were removed from future outreach.
While we understand that unsolicited messages can be frustrating, it’s important to note this involved two respectful contacts, from different people, spaced six months apart, and it was not a repeated or aggressive behaviour.
At Gainsty, we take data protection seriously, and we always aim to act within both legal and ethical standards.
