I smashed my MacBook Pro screen a couple of days ago. I got a few v expensive quotes but what stood out about GadgetWiz was the collection and delivery service and the affordable price. Once I placed my order, I was told that there might be delays in collecting my MacBook (due to petrol queues) but they collected my MacBook early in the morning and ON TIME! They kept me informed through out about everything and got in touch with me a couple of hours after collection to let me know that my MacBook was ready and will be delivered within an hour! It came back looking brand new! I’m overjoyed with the service, will be recommending GadgetWiz to everyone - amazing service.

Broke the Face ID on my iPhone 11! Sent my handset to Gadgetwiz after accidentally breaking the front glass screen of my iPhone 11. They offered a slightly cheaper price to the official Apple repair service so I thought this was the best solution. Unfortunately, when the phone was returned a day later the Face ID function no longer worked. I'd saved a small sum of money on the screen repair but Gadgetwiz has devalued my handset by £100s (even if I try to trade it in). Due to security, only Apple can repair the Face ID which is a much more costly fix than a screen repair. I raised this with Gadgetwiz and they could not have been less concerned or helpful. Be warned, using Gadgetwiz might look to save you a few pounds, but it might very likely cost you many more in the long run.

Update (posted after the Gadgetwiz response below): For clarity, The Face ID on my handset was fully functional before it’s was collected by Gadgetwiz. When the handset was returned it no longer worked. Given that this was not a fault that needed fixing we had no communication regarding it before my handset was collected (just as we had no communication about all the other aspects of my phone that worked without fault). The terms outlined on the Gadgetwiz website state that they will replace items that they damage with a refurbished equivalent if a solution cannot be found. To date they have refused to honour this term and continue to refuse to accept any responsibility. The terms and conditions that Gadgetwiz reference also changed after the service was booked - which I believe is illegal.

Like I said, unless you are happy for your items to be damaged (in much more costly way) as part of the fix, choose Gadgetwiz, otherwise stick with an Apple trusted service.

Super service from start to finish. My son’s laptop needed a replacement battery & GadgetWiz provided a competitive quote. Very responsive to my initial query & I was able to arrange a same day collection & return (included in the price). Text & email updates during the day to confirm collection & completion of the repair. Laptop has just been delivered back to me. All in all an excellent service and I would definitely use again.

The delivery time was very good. It was collected and delivered on the same day however, the communication could have been better because it got dropped off two hours after the set time. And I didn’t get any messages about delays. I am happy with the repair and my phone works and looks fine but there was a tiny bit of glue and a chipping of the side exterior when I opened it. Overall I did have a good experience, it is good service and the price is good and I would use gadgetwiz again.

I am so happy I chose GadgetWiz to repair the shattered glass back of my iPhone. I chose a repair date just two days in the future; on the day I received several texts and emails to keep me up to date with when my phone had been received by their tech team and once it was fixed and on its way back to me.

The repair is of good quality and you’d never know that it was a replacement glass back and not the original. Very satisfied with their service, would definitely choose again in the future. Cost was reasonable, especially since it included couriering the phone from and back to me.

I had broken the front and back of my iphone XS max and was quite concerned about the whole thing. The process was pretty seamless and I got my device fixed on the same day. There was literally this one comment on every site about gadgetwiz saying how bad they were and i was contemplating but finally I thought of giving it a shot and I am certainly pleased with the result.

Brilliant service. Booked online and arranged a pick up time for the following morning. Courier picked my shattered iPhone up from home and took it away. Gadgetwiz kept me updated all day with emails and texts with the repair progress and I had my phone delivered back just a few hours later. The shattered screen was completely fixed and my phone looks brand new. Would highly recommend this service! Thanks.

I booked it (and paid for it) with the understanding that it would be same-day. My phone screen had cracked and needed replacing. No one was available until the following day, when I couldn't be home for my phone to be collected, so I requested the following day. When the delivery boy collected it he said 'it usually takes a couple of hours.' It wasn't returned to me until 8 hours later. For the price it was (£109) I expected a much better service. I wish I'd just gone somewhere else. I was quoted £65 for the same job, but I had to go there and wait, which is why I didn't do it. I should have gone with them.

Everything done as they promised. Communication very good so I always knew what was happening. Cheaper than alternatives where I would have had to take my phone to the repairer rather than have it picked up and brought back. Good job.

I was desperate for my Google pixel battery charging dock to be repaired quickly. Google told me it would take 8-10 days and iSmash said the parts were out of stock and it could take 3 weeks to order. To my disbelief I found Gadgetwiz at 7am this morning, sent in my phone around 12, and have it back in my hands at 630pm, fixed and sorted. Can't recommend this service enough!!!!

The team at GadgetWiz were extremely professional and communicated with me throughout the experience. I felt a bit strange handing over my phone but they regularly sent me updates on the process of my phone and the service was great.

Really excellent service, they came and collected my phone at 9am and I had it back by 6pm, communication was very clear and they were super responsive. My replacement phone screen is as good as when I got the device brand new. Would definitely recommend and would use them again
