Dear Sir/Madam,

Dear Sir/Madam,

I recently purchased an instant funded account, but my account has been marked as breached. The reason mentioned is a violation of the hedging rules.

However, as per my understanding, there was no such clear hedging restriction mentioned in your rules. I believe there might be some misunderstanding or mistake regarding this issue.

I kindly request you to review my account and provide a clear explanation of the violation. If possible, please reconsider the decision or guide me properly regarding the rule I may have unknowingly broken.

I am looking forward to your response.

Thank you.

Best regards,
gurupada khatua

Breach declared only at payout time after 15 days of honest trading — Unfair rule application

I joined FundedFirm through an official referral (Traders Paradise - Abhay Patil) and purchased a $10,000 Instant Account. I want to share my complete honest experience so other traders can make an informed decision.

MY TRADING PERFORMANCE

✅ 15 days of consistent trading
✅ 116 total trades on XAUUSD
✅ 95% of all trades at 0.10 lots
✅ Average lot size: 0.09 (confirmed by their own platform stats)
✅ Profits generated across multiple days
✅ Successfully applied for payout

WHAT HAPPENED

The moment I applied for my payout, FundedFirm declared my account breached. During 15 days of active trading, I received ZERO warnings, ZERO alerts, and ZERO restrictions on my account. The platform allowed me to trade freely for 15 days and only flagged the breach when I requested my payout.

THEIR BREACH REASON CHANGED 3 TIMES

This is the most concerning part. Their breach reason kept changing every time I disputed it:
1️⃣ FIRST EMAIL — They said:
"Base lot: 0.01 | Maximum allowed (5x): 0.05 lots | Executed trade: 0.40 lots (XAUUSD)"
— A 0.40 lot trade does NOT exist anywhere in my trade history. Every single trade was 0.05 or 0.10 lots maximum.
2️⃣ SECOND EMAIL — They changed reason to:
"Multiple trades placed within 3 minutes in same direction combined exceeded 5x base lot"
— After checking my MT5 timestamps, the trades they highlighted were 7 to 12 minutes apart — NOT within 3 minutes. Their own 3-minute rule did not apply.
3️⃣ THIRD EMAIL — Final reason:
"0.01 lot was the minimum in account history therefore it became the permanent base lot. Maximum allowed = 0.05 lots. Your 0.10 lot trades exceeded this."
— My very first trade was a 0.01 lot test entry on Day 1. This single test trade was used to permanently restrict all my future trades to 0.05 lots maximum — on a $10,000 account. 110 out of 116 trades were at 0.10 lots which is completely normal sizing for this account size.

THEIR OWN ADMISSION

In their official email response, FundedFirm wrote:
"Certain violations may be identified during manual or payout review, even if no real-time warning was shown during trading."
This means they OFFICIALLY ADMIT that:
— No warning was shown during my 15 days of trading
— The breach was identified only during payout review
— Traders are not informed in real time when they are supposedly violating rules
— The platform silently allows trading to continue and then uses it to deny payouts

THE RULE ITSELF IS A HIDDEN TRAP

Section 4.3 of their Risk Management Policy states:
"The minimum lot size placed in your order history for that pair will be considered as the base lot."
Nowhere in their published rules does it state:
— That the first trade determines the base lot
— That a single test entry permanently locks future lot sizes
— That this calculation is irreversible
A trader placing one 0.01 lot test trade on Day 1 and then trading 110+ times at 0.10 lots has their maximum permanently restricted to 0.05 lots. This is not a standard industry practice. No other reputable prop firm operates this way.

WHAT I REQUESTED — WHAT I RECEIVED

I formally requested:
✅ Release of my earned payout
✅ Account reinstatement
✅ Refund of challenge fee if reinstatement not possible
Their final response:
❌ Payout rejected
❌ Account remains disabled
❌ Challenge fee refund not applicable
❌ Decision is final

ALSO — APPROVAL EMAIL SENT THEN RETRACTED

Before declaring the breach, FundedFirm actually sent me an account APPROVAL email saying:
"We are pleased to inform you that your trading account has been approved successfully. You can now log in and start trading."
Minutes later they sent another email saying it was sent by mistake and that my account was under breach review. This level of internal confusion raises serious questions about their compliance process.

MY ADVICE TO OTHER TRADERS

⚠️ Never place a test trade at any lot size smaller than what you intend to trade regularly — it will permanently restrict your maximum lot size for the entire account lifetime.
⚠️ There are no real-time warnings if you are violating the 5x lot rule — you will only find out when you request a payout.
⚠️ The breach reason may change multiple times — document every email carefully.
⚠️ The approval email mistake shows internal processes may not be reliable.
I invested real money, real time, and 15 days of genuine effort into this challenge. I traded honestly, consistently, and responsibly. I deserved my payout. Instead I received a breach declaration based on a rule that was never clearly explained, never warned about in real time, and whose stated reason changed three times.
I hope FundedFirm reconsiders their approach to trader fairness and rule transparency. Until then, I would advise traders to proceed with caution.

I will give a honest reveiw

I will give a honest reveiw , This firm seemed genuine earlier . But now the customer support is very bad . ( emily , anna , sophie >these are the only avaibale agents and they will always give automated responses , better chatting with a bot). I passed my funded account but i breached a 80% profit violation rule which caused my account to be reseted (2 phase challenge account), i wont blame them i didnt read that rule earlier. But its been 2 weeks since and my account is yet to be reseted , i have been contacting them throught email and chats , they are assuring to solve the issue , but havent moved a finger yet, i lost hope that i will ever get my account reseted. If you are interested in funding platforms avoid this firm, atleast for now.

“Support stated this rule is part of their risk management framework but provided no proof of prior disclosure

Title: Undisclosed Rule Used to Breach My Account

My account was breached by FundedFirm due to a “single trade loss (40%)” rule.

My total daily loss was $223.60, which is within the allowed daily drawdown of $534.49. Still, my account was breached because one trade exceeded $213.80.

The problem:
This “single trade loss” rule is NOT mentioned in their trading rules or FAQ.

Support claimed it’s part of their system, but provided no proof of prior disclosure and stopped responding.

This raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness.

I’m open to updating this review if they provide proper proof or resolve the issue.

Fake promotion/discount bad support team

Really frustrating exp i have already bought one acc and because of unclear rule of percentage trade risk and they were running 50% sale on all accounts and when I went to buy they were only giving 20% discount and their help support team replies very slow like one reply will take them 5 min and at first either they didn't understand or pretend to not understand and they say the promotion was a mistake but it was all over there website saying 50% discount.(And they were closing chats without solving issue)

They are scammers

They are scammers , I have clear phase 1 and phase 2 with same stratergy and in real account they message me - Dear Trader,
Your payout request has been rejected due to extreme trade clustering, layered position stacking, and concentrated effective exposure, which are inconsistent with prudent risk management.
My question is -
Extreme trade clustering - trade quantity 0.15 and 0.25 lots(lot size 0.05 due to partially booked if the market does not move), how can it be extreme clustering?
Layered Position stacking - adding 3-4 trades in the winning direction. Is it wrong ?
Concentrated Effective Exposure - It's due to market reading and holding winners
Prude Risk management - Your risk management says no trade, lose 40% of the daily drawdown limit in a single day, Max 5% daily drawdown. If i dont breach any rule how you can say these words to me. My one month effort and $5651 payout you rejected with a simple line. Which you cant justify with your own rules

Title :Unclear Rule Application and Data Discrepancies

I’m sharing this for awareness so other traders don’t face the same issue.
My account was marked as breached under the 40% risk rule. The firm stated that I made a loss of $232.35 in a single trade. However, after reviewing my trade history, this loss was actually from multiple separate trades—not a single trade.
Their explanation was that trades opened within 3 minutes (same symbol and direction) are combined and treated as one trade, regardless of whether previous trades were already closed. This interpretation was not clearly communicated, and it can easily lead to unexpected rule violations.
In addition, I noticed discrepancies in the dashboard data, including incorrect trade count and P&L on several dates (Feb 19–27 and Mar 2–6). This raises concerns about the accuracy of their evaluation system.
I recommend all traders carefully review how these rules are applied in practice, as it may differ from what is expected.

Unfair Rule Enforcement & No Support Response

I purchased a $15K 2-step challenge account and had a very disappointing experience.

My account was suddenly terminated for breaching the “5x rule”, which I is incorrectly applied. I placed two trades of 0.01 lot within 3 minutes, which should logically be considered as a combined 0.02 lot exposure. Based on the firm’s own rule, my limit should have been 0.1 lots (0.02 × 5) — so there was clearly no violation.

I immediately contacted support via email and also spoke to the support team. Initially, they said they would check and respond, but it has been over 1 week and I have received no reply. Complete silence after that.

This raises serious concerns:

1. Incorrect rule enforcement
2. No transparency in account termination
3. Extremely poor customer support (no response after follow-up)

I have also shared screenshots and clearly explained my calculations, but still no resolution.

I would strongly advise other traders to be cautious before purchasing a challenge here. If issues arise, don’t expect timely or fair support.

Totally sham I might say

Totally sham I might say, I made 20,683 $ in funded 100k 2 step account. the team stopped replying, within 2 days deleted that account so that I don't have access. I kept on asking them to send me details of trade id or anything which shows any breach but they chose not to reply. I had all the proofs of trades, screen recordings to be precise. But i decides to move on from such sham company.
If anyone wanna know about this do lemme know I'll share all proofs

FundedFirm Pays YouTubers to Rob Traders – Pure Scam

FundedFirm is not a prop firm. It’s a professional scam operation.
They pay YouTubers to promote them, hide their real rules, and lure new traders. Once you pay and pass the challenge, they breach your account with fake violations and steal your money.
I completed 5 profitable days with $10,122.17 equity. Payout was ready, but they breached my account claiming 1% risk violation — even though every single trade I took was under 1%.
This is their business model: Use paid promoters on YouTube to scam people.
Account ID: 30178599
Do not trust any YouTuber promoting FundedFirm. They are getting paid to lie.
FundedFirm is a scam. Stay away.

Poor support + High Spreads + No notifications or warning

1. Spreads are high for all the major forex pairs as compared with the other prop firm which offer the challenge account at the same price as theirs.(Good for Gold traders).
2. Support team is very poor. delayed response
3. So many rules like lot size + 40% threshold from daily drawdown.
4. If you breach any rule you wont be notified until you clear the account and send for review. Thisb bis clear waste of users time and good reaqson to avoid payout.
5. Not worth for the price they are offering one can clearly go for 5ers or Funded next which would acutualy cost cheaper then their pricing and better customer support.

Prop Firm Disabled My Funded Account…

Prop Firm Disabled My Funded Account Using New Rules on Old Account – No Response for Days

I need help/advice.

My funded account (ID: 30007325) was created under old rules, and the firm had already confirmed that old rules would apply to my account.

Earlier, a similar issue happened, and they re-enabled my account after confirming this.

Now again, they disabled my account citing a new 5x lot size rule (which should not apply to my account).

Timeline:

Sent initial email → no response for 48 hrs
Sent follow-ups → no response
Sent final notice → they replied saying EOD update
No update given
Then they asked for MT5 ID → I provided it immediately
Now again no response for 24+ hrs

This feels like intentional delay or avoidance.

Has anyone faced something similar with prop firms?
What should I do next?

I have all the proof (emails, details, etc.) ready.
