FRAUDULENT PRACTICE - Account Disabled AFTER Passing Phase 1 for Retroactive "Violation"

I'm writing to warn fellow traders about FundedFirm's deceptive business model that is designed to collect challenge fees while systematically preventing traders from accessing funded accounts.
My experience with account 30164087 demonstrates their fraudulent tactics:
- JULY 8: I received a congratulatory email confirming I achieved my profit target and was approved for Phase 2
- JULY 9: Less than 12 hours later, they disabled my account citing a "Risk Management Rule" violation
The most egregious part? They're claiming trades from APRIL 20 and 22 (nearly three months ago) suddenly became violations. These trades were never flagged during the entire evaluation period, and I was allowed to continue trading for months.
When I questioned this suspicious timing, their response was essentially: "We conduct comprehensive manual reviews after challenges are completed" - essentially admitting they retroactively apply rules to deny payouts.
This appears to be their standard operating procedure based on numerous similar complaints. They congratulate traders on passing, then immediately disable accounts using retroactive rule enforcement to avoid paying out.
Their business model seems to be:
1. Collect challenge fees
2. Allow traders to "pass"
3. Conduct retroactive reviews to find "violations"
4. Disable accounts to avoid contractual obligations
I strongly advise all traders to avoid this platform and choose firms with transparent, consistently applied rules.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - This is not a legitimate prop firm but appears to be a fee collection scheme disguised as one.

1-Star Review

Very disappointing support experience.

My payout has been delayed far beyond the timeline promised in your own policy. Despite repeated follow-ups, I keep receiving the same copy-paste response saying my case has been forwarded to the relevant team, but no real update or resolution is provided.

Poor communication, no transparency, and no accountability. Customers deserve clear information instead of automated replies.

I expected a professional service, but this experience has seriously damaged my trust in FundedFirm. I hope the company improves its support and starts honoring its stated processing timelines.

🚨 ALERT: This Firm is a Total Scam and Only Here to Rob You 🚨

Title: 🚨 SCAM ALERT: Do NOT Trust This Firm (Promoted by Trader Paradise / Abhay Patil) 🚨
Rating: ⭐ (1/5 - Would give 0 if possible)
I bought a challenge with this firm because it was heavily recommended by Abhay Patil (Trader Paradise), but it turned out to be a complete scam. They permanently disabled my account (Account: 30166900) right when I was about to pass today, citing a fake '5x Lot Size Rule' violation.
Here is the absolute proof of their scam:
Rule Manipulation: Back in April, I traded on this exact same account using lot sizes of 0.05, 0.06, 0.07, 0.08, 0.09, and 0.1. My account was never breached then. But today, when I was about to pass the phase, they breached me for a 0.08 lot trade! If trading 0.1 was completely fine in April, how is 0.08 a violation today? (I have all the April screenshots and can provide proof to anyone who needs it).
Today's Trade History Trap: Look at my exact trades from today before they banned me. I traded XAUUSD with the following lot sizes: 0.10, 0.10, 0.10, 0.05, 0.05, 0.10, and finally 0.08. If there was a rule violation, why didn't their system stop me at the very first 0.10 trade? They let me trade, build my profit, and then banned me right at the end!
Wrong Identity: Their automated system is so pathetic that the official breach email I received was addressed to someone named "Sarab". My real name is Dhruv! They are blindly banning accounts.
Why should anyone trust this team or need this firm? They are running a daylight robbery. The moment you become a profitable trader, they will kick you out. STAY AWAY!

Extremely Disappointing Experience

Extremely Disappointing Experience – No Transparency After Two Rejected Payouts

⭐☆☆☆☆

My experience with FundedFirm has been extremely disappointing.

I had two payout requests rejected despite following what I understood to be the published rules. After each rejection, I repeatedly requested detailed evidence, including the exact Trade IDs, the specific rule or clause allegedly violated, and a technical explanation of the decision.

Unfortunately, I never received the detailed evidence I requested.

Instead, I received the same repeated responses such as, "We have forwarded your query to the relevant team and will update you as soon as we receive a response." Despite many emails and multiple live chat conversations, I still have not received a meaningful update regarding my payout dispute.

My account was reset, but my main concern has always been my rejected payouts, not the reset itself. Every time I asked about the rejected payouts, I was given responses about the reset account instead of answers to my actual questions.

As a trader, I believe that when a company rejects a payout, it should provide clear evidence and a transparent explanation for its decision. In my case, I have not received that level of transparency.

This review reflects my personal experience. I hope FundedFirm improves its communication, transparency, and the way it handles payout disputes so that future traders receive clear and timely responses.

This is a useless firm

The customer support of this firm is very bad. You will not get any help from it. I passed my 1 step account and got a real account. But suddenly there was a spike in the real account and my rule was violated and the biggest thing is that there was no spike at all, I looked everywhere but there was no spike, still it was considered a rule violation.I sent all the proof to customer support, but they still denied it. And customer support is responding after 24 hours.Still I purchased an instant account, made profit in it and followed all the rules, it has been more than 24 hours, till now no reply has come nor has the payment been released, it is still pending.

I had previously received payouts from…

I had previously received payouts from FundedFirm and was trading according to the rules available on the dashboard and in the published rulebook.

My most recent payout request of $2,500 was rejected due to what the Risk Team described as "trade clustering" and "concentrated exposure structures." However, throughout the review process, I repeatedly asked for the exact published rule or clause that I had violated. Despite multiple emails, I was never provided with a specific rule number or wording from the rulebook.

What concerns me most is that the published rules repeatedly state that trades opened within 3 minutes on the same symbol and in the same direction are treated as a single trade for evaluation purposes. At no point during my trading period was I aware that this type of activity could result in payout forfeiture under a separate interpretation.

The account was ultimately reset and re-enabled, which means the account itself was not permanently breached. However, the $2,500 payout was still confiscated based on internal risk review standards, execution structure, exposure concentration, and trade clustering assessments.

My concern is not simply the payout denial. It is the lack of transparency regarding the exact rule applied and the fact that the explanation relied on internal review criteria rather than a clearly identified rulebook provision. If trade clustering is a payout-disqualifying activity, it should be clearly defined in the trader-facing rules with examples, thresholds, and guidance so traders can understand and comply before trading.

I encourage prospective traders to carefully review all rules and to seek clarification in advance regarding trade clustering, exposure concentration, and payout review standards, as these factors may affect payout eligibility even if they are not clearly explained in the published rule sections.

This review reflects my personal experience and the correspondence I had with FundedFirm regarding a rejected payout request.

Unfair Retroactive Rule Application - Misleading Phrasing in Rule 4.3

Do not trade with Fundedfirm if you plan to manage your risk dynamically. Their automated system applies rules retroactively to fail completely compliant accounts.

My initial base lot was 0.08, making a 0.40 trade (5x) 100% valid and compliant at the exact time of execution. Exactly 17 minutes AFTER closing that trade, I lowered my lot size to 0.04 to practice conservative risk management on a setup. According to their own Rule 4.3, the base lot should "RESET" and "THEN" new limits apply.

Instead, their support team manually confirmed that their system scans the entire history retroactively, grabbing the 0.04 lot from the later phase to invalidate a fully compliant trade from the past. Their written rules are highly misleading and contradict their system logic. Standard support has refused to reinstate the account, completely ignoring the chronological wording of their own policy. Absolute trap logic to fail accounts and keep fees.

Bad experience please check properly funded firm your rules n my trading i know I I am doing risky trading but in limits.Dear FundedFirm Support Team,
I am attaching the official screenshot of my trading history for June 9th as undeniable proof of how flawed and unjust your account termination is.
Look at the facts and mathematical reality of my account (ID: 30206777) on this day:
Profits Made First: Before the afternoon session, I had already successfully executed a series of winning trades, securing over $92+ in net profit.
No Capital at Risk: The combined loss of $63.26 from the trades flagged by your system did NOT come from my initial account balance ($5,000). It was entirely lost from the PROFIT that I had earned on that exact same day. My starting capital was never even touched or put at risk.
Account Ended in Net Profit: Even after your system closed these positions, my account concluded the day with a total net profit of $179.57, bringing my balance to $5,179.57.
Your "40% Gambling Rule" claims to protect capital from risky behavior. How is it "gambling" or "risking capital" when a trader is playing strictly with the market's money (earned profit) and ends the day up by nearly $180? Punishing a profitable trader for losing a fraction of their daily winnings—while keeping the overall account heavily in the green—is an absolute trap.
I request a manual review of this screenshot by a senior risk manager immediately.
Best regards,
Priti

1 Star for Customer Support and Overall good but
Whenever there is an issue, it often takes multiple live chat messages and emails before receiving a response. In many cases, problems are only resolved after 3–4 days, which is far from satisfactory.
Additionally, Fundedfirm official website and social media channels state that payouts are processed within 24 hours. However, in my experience, payouts have frequently taken 48–72 hours or longer. To receive my payout, I have often had to send multiple emails and contact live support repeatedly than received payout.
