I purchased a new electric dirt bike…
I purchased a new electric dirt bike from FunBikes. Unfortunately, the pallet was reported by the courier as having tipped over during transit, and the bike arrived with damage, including a bent frame and damaged bodywork.
To their credit, FunBikes responded to my complaint and offered either a full return/refund or £180 compensation if I chose to keep the bike due to them been out of stock. However, I was disappointed that replacement parts were not offered and that the compensation did not reflect what I believe would be the true cost of restoring the bike to its original condition.
The bike itself is enjoyable to ride and I decided to keep it, but the experience of receiving a damaged new bike and the limited resolution offered left me disappointed.
Pros:
* Fun bike to ride
* Customer service responded to the complaint
* Full refund option was available
Cons:
* Bike arrived damaged after a documented courier incident
* Replacement parts were not offered
* Compensation offered did not cover the apparent cost of replacement bodywork

In this case, the courier advised that the pallet had tipped over while being handled, which we understand was extremely disappointing when receiving a new bike.
We appreciate your comments regarding both the bike itself and our customer service team. Following our assessment of the reported damage, we offered to arrange collection of the bike at no cost to yourself, with the option of either a full refund or a replacement once stock became available. We also discussed an alternative goodwill contribution should you prefer to keep the bike. While we understand that our proposed resolutions did not fully meet your expectations, we worked to provide the available options and reach a fair outcome.

This was a present for our grandsons birthday from us all. OMG it’s amazing. It is quiet when it runs and no complaints about noise as our grandson has an earring impairment which is the reason as to why we opted for the electric version. Definitely recommend this product

Online description/Specification could be improved.
Generally when visiting shop service is good, however last purchase was online and found insufficient description with regards to the chain purchased. As it also shows that a split link can be purchased I purchased both, on receipt the chain was found to be endless and doesn’t require the split link. This was not identified in the description.

Waste of time and your money
They are a joke they lie to you be rude and hard to work with I went in to the shop to put down 600 Ona bike until today when I was going to pay the outstanding I also asked if they could save it and got no response anyway this morning I went on there website to fine there not in stock so I called up to explain and had the phone put down they ain’t loyal to there customer and will avoid you i was a paying customer. I’d choose bfr or quad wearhouse they good people and will help you with your payment and concern not mess abouts like the kids they have working there at funbikes avoid this if you want a bike always low on replacement parts iv brought 2 bikes off them in the past and no response when you need to replace a part or it’s always out of stock and they won’t no when the next shipment will come this is not good for business

To clarify the situation, when you contacted us regarding this particular bike, you were advised that a 40% deposit would be required for us to reserve the vehicle. You were also informed that the model was selling quickly and, whilst we would do our best to assist, we could not guarantee stock availability until the required deposit had been received.
Unfortunately, the bike sold out before the reservation was secured. We appreciate this was frustrating and understand your disappointment.
Regarding your telephone call with our team, we must respectfully clarify that the call was terminated only after repeated requests for abusive, threatening, and inappropriate language towards our staff to stop. FunBikes operates a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse of employees, and whilst we always welcome constructive feedback, we will not permit our team members to be subjected to threatening behaviour.
We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion.
