Foxy's Golf is an Accredited PGA Golf Professional and Head Professional at Bearsted Golf Club. I turned pro in 1991 and have played, taught and retailed ever since. Although having a playing career, I've focused my time mainly on my real passion, teaching. I've worked with a wide range of players from total beginners to elite tour pros. Most of my teaching is assisted with TrackMan technology, giving you great insight into your swing using data and video recording. I'm a big believer that when it comes to golf, we're all individuals, and we all have little nuances that make us unique. However, there is a need to stay within a basic blueprint to allow success and continuous improvement to follow within your golf game. My goal has always been to provide my students with the fun and excitement that the game of golf can bring to people.

Confidence building with every lesson .

I have grown in confidence and my technique has improved following 4 lessons with Richard Fox .
The coaching is friendly , fun and informative.
Both the mental approach to the game and the technique needed to improve are in equal measure and I really feel like I am moving forward thanks to “ Foxy’s Golf @ Bearsted Golf club .

Great golf club fitting service in the new studio. Friendly and helpful service with great analysis to get the right option for me and I am very happy with my purchases.

The best lesson you could ever have.

Turned up half an hour early for my time slot with a view of looking around the shop. I was ushered in the moment i arrived and had 1 and a half hours for the price of one. Richard was extremely knowledgeable and hopefully by the time of my next lesson i have successfully implemented the changes suggested to me.

Outstanding coach

My son had a golf lesson and Richard was a fantastic coach. He went over and above, was patient and so knowledgeable. I cannot recommend Richard enough.
Will be returning again very soon.

A Golf Lesson at Bearsted

I had a lesson with Richard Fox which was so helpful, informative and thorough that it really made an impact. He has the patience and tolerance so needed in teaching and I can thoroughly recommend him whatever your age.

beginners…

My son & I have had a few beginners lesson's and they’ve been great.
Richard is the most patient chap you’ll ever meet, which helps.
Very calm, very understanding and very good at making the technical side of golf seem simple.
Worth every penny.
