BEWARE they are NOT easy access savings. If you withdraw money after 2pm on a working day, it gets processed on the next working day and gets transferred on the following working day. It can essentially take more than 48 hours to receive the money from them. This is no where highlighted on their website and maybe available in small print.

They don't transfer money out when they say they will.

Gave instruction (just after midday and way before their cutoff time) for next day remittance and still hasn't arrived. Why it can't be same day is beyond me, but they don't even follow their own unattractive time periods.
The money's left my account and still not appeared in the destination account more than 2 business days later.
Very poor.

I transferred quite a big lump sum in to my account last night, and a day later there's still no sign of my money appearing in my account. I'll be closing my account with fordmoney as soon as I can, as not being able to see my money sitting safe in my account fills me with dread. There really is no excuse for this less than lack luster service!

Easy enough to open the account, easy enough to pay money in, but cannot get money out until they've sent you a code through the post. I have been waiting a week for this code. Had to phone, now told it would be sent within 2days. But they did let me close the account, over the phone.
Didn't know there where banks still using such outdated practices.

I opened up a saving account with Ford Money end of August 22. Soon after I switched my linked account and requested to change the linked account. Since then they have repeatedly messed up. 3 times they have told me to use my old account in order to make my first deposit, despite me clearly telling them that account was switched and closed as part of the process. Nearly a month letter despite entering a code they sent to authenciate my new linked account, it didn't. And I still can't use this account, as they had actually cnacelled my request for the third time. So I have just requested they close it. Clearly they have no understanding on what closed means! I will not bother to ever apply for account from them again. A month wasted. Reading some of the reviews on here, I think I had a lucky escape.

Ford money is great .. they are taking over from those dreadful banks that have not raised their savings rate in these hard times 0.6 % versus Ford money at 1.93 % ((Martin Lewis Top Pick !!! ))
App is great, easy to use and you can always talk to someone if needed.
Easy access and takes only a day to get your money out . Can also get your monthly interest paid directly into your nominated account so great if you need that to help supplement your income

We have only been with Ford Money for about 5 months but have found their banking as reliable and efficient as their cars, First class service, enquiries dealt with and sorted after waiting less than a minute on the phone, polite helpfull staff who speak good understandable English and I could understand PERFECTY what they were saying, interest rates rise automatically and are amongst the best rates out there,

I have been with Ford money since June & have found them very good! When I have transferred money they have let me know on that day & updated my account, I haven’t used the service yet to withdraw but it does state in there t’s&c’s that to allow a couple of days which I am aware of…very pleased with interest rates so much better than who I was with before I have already got 4x more than I got in a year with the other saver

Avoid Ford Credit at all costs they allowed fraudsters impersonating me to open an account in order to steal Credit due to be paid to me but instead Ford Credit paid the money into the fraudsters account, The National Economic Crime Centre state on the National Crime Agency website this is Payment Diversion Fraud. Even after actually providing proof to Ford Credit fraudsters used a cloned Hsbc debit card to open an account fraudulently in my name Ford Credit still refused to uphold my complaint.
Ford Credit didnt even have the decency to admit they were at fault, this company should be investigated for Payment Diversion Fraud because without any doubt whatsoever they allowed fraudsters to open a company account fraudulently in my name, Shameful and untrustworthy bunch of crooks.

Account now closed!… Four days to withdraw my own money, unless I want to pay a £20.00 charge, get into the 2000’s Ford Money, your Banking conditions are 1960’s, nearly lost a house purchase because of you🤬AVOID AVOID AVOID

Had an account with Ford Money for a few years I've never had a problem, they have been quick to raise there interest rates unlike some other companies.

So Bank of England announce a 0.5% increase in interest rates. Ford Money announce a 0.1% increase in their instant access rates. Where has the 0.4% gone to? Presumably to widen Ford's margins.

Offered a much better rate on both Cash ISA and instance access savings compared to my previous accounts.
It was easy to open the accounts and transfer my Cash ISA in. It is easy to pay in and withdraw and the phone app works really well.
I'm really pleased.

Been with them 3 years now with 4 sub accounts. No problems at all. Faster than others at upping rates and good communications and easy access.

The instant access account that isn't instant access. No interest paid once withdrawn request has been made. This isn't disclosed when deposits are made, and isn't included in the APR.

Tried to open easy access account online.It's impossible clicked on A"pply now" Catchpa comes up & tells you to copy the image below,but there's no image to copy??????????????????

Unless Ford Money and one or two other savings outfits find a way to transfer funds almost immediately like Chase, Atom, Marcus etc then they will struggle. Their rates are often not as competitive either. I can't see myself continuing with them much longer.

I made a mistake by transferring my money too early so I was charged a penalty for this, when I explained to them I made a huge mistake, they right away agreed to reimburse my money

We're not loyal to any savings provider as its all about getting a better poor rate than the poorest. We've used Ford money on several occasions for both ISA and other savings products, we conclude that their process and communication steps stand up providing a great reliant friendly down to earth service. We except that when a leading product is launched that "any savings provider" will get bogged down... and we should not expect instant phone call service during a high demand. We use providers online messaging services which should be treated with a tad of patience during shifting sands.

Having had an account for a while with this lot, I've decided that I just don't like them. The main reason is their intentional and wilful built-in delays in transferring money out of savings accounts and into nominated ones. This is the age of faster payments, giving consumers the confidence that the money is theirs and not the banks. If I want to move my money now, that's what I expect to be done
