Ashley, out teacher, for Let's Get Them Pressing Intro course did a fantastic job teaching us the rights ways to go about teaching our learners, what not to do and answering a lot of our questions throughout the process. Right now my dog is using 3 buttons but I have no doubt there will be more introduced in the future.

These are very expensive for what they are, sound quality is not clear. Also, I have a very large dog. These buttons are small all my dog wants to do is pick them up and chew them they could become a choking hazard. This company also will not return them if the seal is broken on the box they said they cannot resell which I believe is a pretty shady excuse. I spent $170. Very expensive not worth it. I tried explaining everything to the company that sold me these. The only thing they care about is the money not the customer. I have never bought some that I could not return. I could see if they were used and abused, but these are still brand new in the package. I only had to break the seal to find out how big the buttons were. After they said they would not return them. I tried a button out that’s when I found out the sound was not clear at all and my dog. Just wanted to pick it up and eat it. They offered button Boot Camp. I thought that was pretty funny. You can go on YouTube and get all the schooling you need. The size of these buttons for a large dog in my opinion is dangerous. They told me to mount them to the wall which is not what I wanted to do or am willing to do because my dog will still have access to chew on it and most likely choke when I’m not paying attention. Beware of buying these buttons they may work for smaller animals.. but sound quality still needs to be addressed

This course was extremely helpful in keeping us motivated and dedicated! Without the twice weekly assignments, I know I would’ve lost motivation. It was extremely helpful and encouraging.

I didn’t know what to expect when I signed up for this class. With a new, young puppy, I was eager to have a meaningful and rich relationship with him and to see if it was possible to figure out what was on his mind. I learned a lot from Ashley’s lectures and the FluentPet course content. But that was enhanced by the very personalized info provided through class chats, class Q&As, and the forum with other class members. I remember how excited and thrilled I was when Oliver pressed his very first button, “Play.” Still makes me smile and feel vey proud! While we have a lot to learn moving forward in our button journey, this course has given me the confidence and tools to do it! You will be amazed and happy to try it yourself!!

FluentPet was a gift to my daughter. She has really liked the gift and her dog is doing well with it

While I am excited about this product, customer service over shipping was a nightmare. FluentPet eventually made it right, but it took several days to do so with a lot of “we can’t do anything” in the beginning. If you have one of those addresses that Google reads differently than the US Post Office does, use your Google address to save yourself a lot of headache. FluentPet will tell you that you can contact the carrier to correct it. This isn’t true. You will be stuck and waiting for FluentPet to make it right-after already being charged.

The new Connect buttons are AMAZING! Regardless of the kind of buttons, FluentPets still has the BEST BUTTONS on the market. We ordered a set of Connect buttons after using a large set of the first generation of FluentPet buttons for 3 years. We have placed a couple other orders in between. Twice we had an issue with an order. Both time customer service quickly made it right and sent me the correct items. We did not have to sent back what had been sent accidentally which was a bonus and saved us a trip to the post office. The shipping time of each order is never very quick but it is faster than it used to be. We started using the FluentPet buttons with our dogs when the first generation came out. They were much better than any other buttons we had tried previously. The FluentPet buttons are easier to push even for small dogs. They require only cell batteries which are cheaper and have longer life. The original buttons were not loud enough to be heard from another room. The new Connect buttons are much louder depending on the loudness of the recorded voice. We keep the Connect base on a table just a few feet from the tiles and buttons. Our smallest dog finds them too loud and I t scared him at first. Plus, we find the sound carries better when the base is elevated on a table. We can hear the sound from the next room. The sound is also clearer and it sounds much more like the person’s voice. The new tiles are much brighter. They are more fun and colorful to the human eye. I just wish that we could pick the color of the tiles or wish that FluentPet offered customized selection packages. Dogs have a dichromatic vision. I would pick colors based on what my dog can see. Another suggestion would be to offer customized button stickers. Sharpie does not last on stickers. I have to retrace words and drawings on the labels of the most overused buttons at least every 2-3 months. For future generation of buttons, I would also recommend considering putting the switch under the button in a small recessed space. This might be an engineering/designing nightmare but I thought I should mention it. I am sure that we are not the only ones having this issue. When our small dog gets impatient and pushes the same button over and over, the switch will often get pushed over. I have to re-record the word for many buttons on a regular basis. It is a mild inconvenient considering how beneficial using these buttons has been for our dog to communicate his needs to us. Overall, we have been beyond pleased with our FluentPet buttons. Their customer service is great and has gotten better in the last three years. We also appreciate all the emails that are sent for support, training tips and more. The company has really done a wonderful job in meeting the needs and the demand of their customers as the popularity of their product has increased. I am speaking from experience as I ordered our first set of buttons when the company was just starting. Using the FluentPet buttons has made us realized how much smarter our furry family members are and it has made training a puppy much easier. It has also brought us much laughter when one of our dog uses his words in unexpected combinations. Thank you FluentPet! You have made our lives better with our furry family members. From a happy, loyal and invested customer.

I received the items I ordered quickly. The cats were as excited as I was to open the boxes. As soon as I pulled the tab to allow the button press to play the pre-recorded message, the cats snatched it from me and immediately began pouncing on it. They were very intrigued by the human voice in the button and repeatedly pounced on it to make it talk. I thought it was a terrific sign that we could progress quickly. However, when I went to record our first word, it didn't quite go as planned. The first 3 attempts only made the pre-recorded message quieter and more wobbly. The 4th attempt set off a siren sound from the button. That siren scared the cats off. I managed to get it to record, and didn't have any problems with the rest of the buttons, so I'm not sure what happened with that first one. Since then the cats are leery of the buttons, with one case exception. I would advise future purchasers to test record away from the animals, just in case an unexpected thing happens. My cats are brave and curious, so they haven't completely avoided the buttons, but they are cautious. I've kept one button near their feeding spot, "Eat," our usual signal for meals. I press that button, and they get into their preferred eating locations. The one exception to their cautiousness is the "hunt" button, which I keep near the wand toys. They love to hunt, and that's what I had planned to begin teaching. I press that button to signal the hunting session, and when they catch the prey. They've each hit the button during the session, but only incidentally, and they have no reserves about it when it talks. So I'm confident that we'll make some progress with patience and consistency, as I originally expected. It might have gone faster than expected if not for the siren, but I consider that to be a minor setback that's only sent us back to my Plan A.

The buttons are sturdy. Could not track package based on carrier they used.

The speak up buttons are so much better than the standard ones! They have been sounding off each time my corgi presses them (the standard ones worked well in the beginning but then would intermittently stay silent when pressed) even after a few weeks.

The basic vocal kit does not contain as many stickers, as the website said. You have an european warehouse but your website did not redirect me to that page, so I had to paid more. But the buttons and hextiles are good so the 3 stars goes for that.

I was experiencing a problem with one of the buttons & had emailed them. Working together we were able to figure out what happened & my button was replaced.

Ordered and received in a timely manner. These buttons are alot louder than the 1st generation buttons. Worth the slight price increase.

The introductory "Bootcamp" was very helpful. I appreciated how the presenter got thru the material and allowed plenty of time for questions. I also appreciated how she sensitively cut off an over-talker to be sure others got an opportunity to ask their questions. She treated everyone's questions as equally important and never made anyone feel their question was stupid. I learned a lot just from that 30-minute session.

I purchased a set of buttons & hex tiles to see how my dog/learner would do & if this button system was a match for her. I then attended the included introductory Zoom session to get an idea about how to start. That was a nice overview & I decided to take a more in-depth 4-week (8 session) Zoom class designed to help set up for success. Ashley was the instructor. Very very knowledgeable & passionate about inter species communication. My dog took to using the buttons very quickly. I’ve been adding to her system steadily over the past month & she is now using 9 buttons consistently & making some combos to express new things, so it’s definitely a match for her. Some of the others in my class did not necessarily have the same ease of success, but everyone saw improvement. It is very fun to get more insight into how our dogs & cats see the world. I started the course with a view of the experience as a type of experiment to see if it would be both enjoyable and useful for my dog. It has been! We already had a very strong bond and our connection has just grown even more. It is wonderful to see her head tilt as she thinks about what I said or as she waits for me to respond to her. A very satisfying experience for both of us!

This course totally set me and my learner up for success! Ashley is a wealth of knowledge; I felt like I was getting a master class in animal behavior. Beyond that, I feel confident that my pup and I can use our soundboard system to the fullest, and have fun doing it. Roo is already using her buttons and I can't wait to see how we progress! Thank you, Ashley!
