Easy to use site, prompt delivery at a competitive price.

The staff are most helpful and pleasant. I was given excellent guidance on equipment best suited to my needs, which came in below my stated budget. The commitment of “next day delivery” was fulfilled. I am confident I will receive good advice from this company in the future.

Fast and efficient value for money

The phone system was next to useless. I had to revert to email in order to ask questions prior to purchase and despite requesting a phone call I only got email replies which failed to comprehend my concerns.

Pump and hose arrived in just a couple of days, which was great as I really needed them. Easy to set up, worked first time. Impressive flow rate and gets the water right down to just a thin layer. Any air lock is easy to overcome.

Got the pump working for the first time this morning, seems to be moving the standing water ok! Will know more after it’s done it’s job.

Faced with a large body of water getting closer to my house I placed an order for a Honda WB20XT water pump late on Thursday afternoon. My new pump and hoses arrived first thing the following morning and were put to good use with the pump being simple to set up and start. The pump performed an excellent job and efficiently moved the lake out of my field into a drainage ditch. I did find a manufacturing fault in part of the lay flat hose which sprang a leak but this was not apparent until the hose was put into use and having informed FPS they’ve advised a replacement is being sent today. 100% positive experience, excellent company to deal with and the Honda pump is a joy to own.

Floodandwaterpumps have been very helpful in solving my problem with the “ kinked” outlet hose . Therefore I have upgraded my review! They were quick to respond , and keen to assist me .Many thanks, Paul.

Ordered on the 24th, delivered on the 25th...can't get any better than that.

Asked for correct connector size for pump and bought based on info given. When it arrived it didnt fit. Contacted for help but they didnt offer to send correct size, despite only being a few £, didnt offer to swap for original one, and told me id have to buy another one but have to spend a minumum £20 to place an order. Really poor

Prompt delivery and does exactly as described

Very efficient delivery timescale. Easy to talk with on phone. Unfortunately the order was duplicated and had to be sent back.

I made an order before 4 pm on Friday and paid for next day delivery. I was expecting it on Saturday. On Monday I contacted them via the online messaging system and I was told next day delivery meant Monday. I phoned twice and was told that someone would get back to me with a tracking number to find out what had happened with my delivery. No one got back to me, and it is now 6 pm Monday with no delivery having ordered around 2:30 pm on Friday. Having read responses to other reviews, the roads in my area are completely clear and dry with no issues of access to any address in my village or street.

Update:
the package (pump, hose and clip) was delivered on Wednesday. The company points out that although they pay for next day delivery they have no control over the courier company. In my case, the "next day" delivery was the middle of the following week. I can only say that if you have an active flood incident, then it may well be too late to address the issue. I've updated the rating to 2 stars instead of 1 because it did arrive in the end.

Update 2:
The product itself seems to work. However the lack of a non-return valve means the water in the 30 metre hose just keeps running back as soon as the automatic pump action stops, then it pumps that same water again, in an endless loop that will never stop as water in a pipe will not evaporate. Other companies include the NRV as standard. About £3 on the website.

Update 3:
The rating goes back down to 1. The company said that they would not supply the £2 NRV and £1 tail because the minimum order value is £20. They said I should visit a hardware shop. I bailed the water out with a cup and bucket. They also declined to refund me the next day delivery charge of £12 despite the order taking 5 days to be delivered.

Easy to order, online chat and email help me to get exactly the pump I needed.
