Small fit, terrible customer service
The shoes are pretty but sizing is very small. I normally wear 39, ordered 39, had to return and exchange for 40, and the 40 was still super tight. Since they are shipped from Spain, i had to pay postage of £9 twice, for the two returns. Shipping took forever (more than a week), the tracking information was incorrect the first time and unavailable the second time. Customer service is inexistent. The phone number has an automated message in Spanish and then switches off, emails take 7 business days to respond. When I posted a comment on instagram requesting information, the comment was deleted. And I am still waiting for a refund, who knows how much this will take.
I would definately buy the shoes again
The shoes are amazing, they are very beautiful, comfortable and high quality. I would recommend ordering them 1 size bigger than the normal shoe size.
The only thing I did not like much, was that I requested an exchange of shoes and this exchange took like 1 month until I received the new shoes. I received very little updates in the meantime, so I had to contact the Flabelus team every now and then to make sure that they have not forgotten my order exchange. No tracking or despatch emails provided. Shoes turned up no dust bag, covered in scuffs and loose stitching. Generally dreadful quality for a pair of shoes that cost £118.
Emailed customer services one week ago, no reply. Messaged twice on Instagram and told someone would be in touch asap and no follow up. Emailed again, no reply, messaged again on Instagram and assured I would receive a prompt response. Still nothing I will be taking this to the UK trading standards as I have a faulty product and I’m not receiving any customer service to try to rectify.
(Updated) slow customer service, beautiful shoe
Incredibly disappointed. Wish I had looked at reviews before purchase. I was so excited to order my Antonia shoes. The sizing online is either way off or the shoes run incredibly small. I exchanged for a larger size which was smooth, however the new shoes were still too small. I attempted to exchange again and, unfortunately, I was outside my exchange window. In my defence I did not expect that I would need go up two sizes!
I sent an email to customer service regardless, I simply wish to exchange again, so the company aren’t losing out financially. However after two emails over the last ten days they are yet to respond to me. Their automatic email says you’ll get a response in 48-72 hours.
It’s a shame. I really loved their shoes. The company has done a good job of promising quality and service online but the truth is somewhat different it seems. I do think spending £140 on shoes warrants at least a basic level of customer service.
Update: coincidentally? after this review went live customer service replied to me and reopened my exchange window which I am grateful for. I have ordered yet another size and hoping for the best.
I have amended my review from 1 star to 4 as I do think they need to double check their sizing guide.
Horrendous Customer Service
I returned a pair of shoes to the London store at the start of June. It is now the middle of August and I still have not been issued a refund after emailing customer service weekly over the past 2 months. To make matters worse the associate would not provide me with proof of my return in store and so my credit card company will not process my dispute against them.
Poor, very poor quality!!!!
Terrible quality. I wore the shoes a few times, the inner soles started to detach, and the stitching is coming off. They are poorly designed and don’t “breathe”, feet become very sticky and awful sensation. The gum sole form the outside is also peeling off!! This for £220. My £30 espadrilles are better quality. Avoid, avoid, avoid. One more shitty brand that hopefully will soon disappear!
Good Resolution, But Poor Email Response
I purchased two pairs of shoes, but my house address was missing from the final shipping label. I only discovered this after Parcelforce marked the package as delivered, even though it never arrived. The package then became untraceable.
I contacted Flabelus immediately, sending four emails and providing evidence including Parcelforce’s tracking screenshots. One week later I received a single reply saying they were looking into it. After three further emails without response, I became increasingly concerned that my shoes would never arrive.
While I was disappointed by their lack of email communication, I recommend that any customer in a similar situation call them directly. When I phoned, Monica from the team resolved the issue within minutes, correcting my address and arranging a redelivery.
In the end, I was pleased the shoes are being redelivered. However, my advice to other customers is to skip the email and call them right away if you need urgent help.
Won’t give me my money back
Returned shoes two weeks ago and still have not been refunded. No one answers the phone. The woman couldn’t even give me a return receipt at the Chelsea store
Feels like a scam – avoid at all costs
I ordered a pair of shoes two months ago. The money was withdrawn from my account immediately, but I never received any confirmation of my purchase. Two months later, I still have not received my shoes or any update.
I have emailed and called multiple times with no response. This is extremely unprofessional and feels like a complete scam. Avoid this company at all costs!
If you have experienced the same, I strongly recommend reporting this company to your bank and consumer protection authorities.
More than a month and refund still not received
Update- I still haven’t had a refund despite being told that it was issued. Refund was requested over a month ago. The wait time for customer service replies has recently changed to 7 days. The communication is dire.
I read reviews beforehand that refunds were a problem but as I already had a pair bought in the UK I thought I would risk it. Delivery came and shoes were nice but I needed a bigger size. You can request and exchange and I chose the size up which was in stock online. I sent the shoes back and they confirmed they received them. I waited a week and the replacements didn’t arrive. Instead I got a voucher emailed to me with an apology that the size was no longer available. After checking the website there wasn’t another pair in a similar colour and the sale had finished. I contacted them for a refund. Since then I’ve had no reply. Their response time stated is 48-72 hours, a week later I’ve heard nothing. I have emailed numerous times and complained stating I’m going to go to credit card provider and still nothing. Any time you contact them the wait time resets ! This brand has been hugely hyped up and now can’t meet the customer service expectations.
