My 2013 iMac gave up the ghost. After much research I gave Joey a call. I drove over and dropped off the machine. Seven days later (which worked for me) I picked up the iMac, now with a 1Tb SSD. Brilliant work, clear advice with no sales jargon. If I ever needed to, they would get my business again.

I felt a bit concerned at sending off my Mac Book Pro, however i received a first class service & repair and the laptop was returned to me within the safety. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Fixmybrokenmac again.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR LIFE... OR YOUR MAC!

I took my MAC into this company as it had a broken cable inside the machine. Please note apart from the cable, my MAC is in perfect condition, like brand new. After my MAC had been examined, I was told by Fix My Broken Mac Ltd that I would need a brand new screen costing me over £650. On further testing, they then told me I would need a brand new motherboard as well, which would cost me an additional £550. As my job is working in the IT industry day in, day out, I knew this was not the case.

On telling the company this was not correct, and asking them to send me my MAC back, Fix My Broken Mac Ltd told me I needed to pay a charge for the MAC to be sent back. After a heated discussion on this, they said i would not get my MAC back without paying them - Even though I sent it in originally for a 'free diagnostic test'. They responded by saying i would need to pay also for the delivery insurance. I told them what would be the point of this as the MAC is already broken completely according to you. So why would i insure something that is broken?

After paying the fee in question to get my mac back, they then sent me through someone else's Macbook. They ended up sending my mac to someone else, and that persons MAC to me... what a joke of a company this turned out to be.

TO FINSIH OFF...
I actually took my MAC into another MAC store for it to be looked at, and tested. This company managed to replace the cable that was broken from the start and low and behold the MAC was back working again perfectly. I now have my MAC fully working like a dream again, and this only cost me £80. I can't thank this other company enough.

I WILL NEVER SEND ANY OF MY APPLE DEVICES TO FIX MY BROKEN MAC AGAIN, WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND BIGGEST SCAM I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I had needed a new hard drive on my Mac for some months as my Mac was very very slow. I had spoken to Will about putting in a replacement solid state drive, so I took his advice and what a result. My Mac now is quicker than it has ever been and my worries about losing my work and data unfounded, it was perfect after the drive was changed. TOP JOB guys.

Had an issue with the battery on my MacBook Pro where it had started to swell up and push the base off the laptop. Not good....Phoned these guys and they new what I was talking about straight away and booked me in. Had the laptop back within 24 hrs which, as a freelance designer who needs my Mac to work, was invaluable to my business. Cheers Guys!

Excellent work on my laptop. Fantastic turnaround and my laptop works perfectly. So happy to have it back for such a reasonable cost. Definitely recommend.

My hard drive failed and term the moment I contacted fixmybrokenmac the whole process was dealt with quickly and very efficiently. Despite at the time everyone was in lockdown and engineers were working from home I must say the work was outstanding.

Great service with a really quick turnaround. They were responsive via phone, and I could get in touch easily for more information throughout the process.

I couldn't get a mac appointment at all, but just dropped my macbook and less than a week later I had a new battery and charging port after water damage. They were in communication the whole time, and explained costs in an upfront manner.

Not sure it's a 'cheap' option over apple (although probably was a bit less expensive!) but it's so much faster and very trustworthy. Would go to them over apple anytime!
