Alot of items under $5 but they also have a lot of items over $5 and above!!
The store has a lot of items which is nice but a lot of the items are over $5. The store should be called $35 below. I bought just a few items and I spent $65 so fast. The items are better quality than dollar Tree but it's pricey here. The cashiers were friendly. The plain clothes security dressed in black were annoying! they follow you all around the store so they stand out!!. They have some generic brands for their perfumes. You have to use a wheeled rolling basket to shop which is hard for me since I have health issues. They only had 2 or 3 shopping carts so they go fast. They need to invest in more shopping carts, if they had, I would of stayed longer.
Pay for your cheap junk and the bag it goes into
Five Below has officially lost its mind. Not only do they expect you to check yourself out now (because apparently paying customers are also employees?), but you have to pay for your own bags too! I just spent around $50 in there… yeah, I know it’s all cheap junk, that’s on me… but then to be told I have to buy a bag to carry my cheap junk home? Absolutely ridiculous. The prices keep creeping up while the service and experience keep going down. I didn’t realize “Five Below” referred to their customer service rating.

First of all your store at 1123 S Federal Highway Pompano Beach Fla 33062
You have two amazing young people, that work hard together and make the store visit worth coming to visit. The young lady name is Olivia, and the young man is Roquavion, they are the best they deserve a raise. And the store is so very clean and everything is easy to find. My experience yesterday was amazing with them both.
Thank you, SW
Concerning working behavior
o who It may Concern,
My name is Tanai and I am a concerned customer. On 10/19, approximately 1:09pm I sat in the car while my 11 year old daughter when into one of your stores located at 5628 The alameda Baltimore Md 21239. When My daughter came out the store and enter the car she was holding a book that she purchased along with her receipt and her bank card. She stated that there was a gentleman in the store that made her feel uncomfortable. I questioned her and asked her if it was a random gentleman or someone that works there. She stated that it was someone that works there. She stated that the gentlemen followed her around the store and cornered her in an aisle where she couldn't move and asked her was she buying anything. I entered the store with my 11 year old to asked her to point out the gentleman. She pointed to the security guard. I asked him why did he follow her, corner her and block her from moving out the aisle, and questioned her if she was buying anything or not. I also told him that she is 11 and a child and he had no right to approach her. His response was that he asks everyone that. I made my daughter bring the product back with the receipt and return the item. He stated that it has been a lot of stealing. While I understand this is an issue, I explained to him that not everyone in there is there to steal and that I raise my daughter better than that. He went back and forth with me and then told me not to come back. While standing there. There was another customer checking out. I asked her did he questioned her about buying anything and she replied no. I WILL not and CANNOT patronize a store that harasses my daughter had I while we shop. While we patronize this store a lot because we live in the area, we will not be returning. My daughter is hurt and upset due to being treated like that. I do hope that you take this matter seriously because he is going to cause many of your customers not to return.
I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent visit to your Arlington,
I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent visit to your Arlington, Texas store located at 2805 W. Park Row Dr. Arlington TX, 76013 [Saturday Oct 18, @ 12:38 PM].
During my visit, I observed the following:
My 6- and 8-year-old granddaughters and I entered the store and shopped for a short time.
Two staff members repeatedly approached a different customer—a white woman standing near my checkout line—and asked if she had found everything and if she needed help. This happened multiple times.
Not once did either staff member extend the same courtesy to me or my granddaughters, even though we were standing right next to the register in line.
When I asked the staff member why we weren’t greeted or checked in, she claimed she had asked me. That was not true. The question “Did you find everything okay?” was clearly directed at the other customer, loud enough that my granddaughter noticed it.
This experience left me feeling ignored and singled out for differential treatment. I expect a retail environment that treats all customers equally and offers the same level of service to everyone.
Snotty manager at five below in Shelton, Connecticut.
So my sister went to five below with her service dog in a carriage, we go in there all the time so my dog is only about 12 pounds, mine knew he was in a carriage where no one could reach him and he can’t reach nobody else. as I’m going to the store, my dog is barking. One customer came up to the dog and was petting him and it was no problem. All of a sudden one of the managers came up and said me you need to shut your dog up or leave the store so I stated that this is a service dog. She said you have the paper and I said yes as I was giving her the paper she snatched it out my hand and said oh where did you get the sign online and she State no and where she got it from. The manager, she was so rude and told me to get out of her store. These managers need better training because as you know this manager, she definitely needs to be trained again. I never had a problem going in there before with my dog that is a service dog and like I said He’s no more than 12 pounds. I will never support the business in Shelton for five below again.
Also accused of shoplifting
I was accused of shop lifting. Browsing is no longer ok? I had picked up and put down the product I was going to buy numerous times (checking prices on other things.) all of a sudden the worker stopped at the aisle I was in, and demanded I give the product, so I handed it to the employee out of shock. They never asked if I intended to buy anything.
I also made a mistake of asking if they had specific things I was looking for, they very rudely gave me a "NO"
After reading reviews, I noticed this has happened to a LOT of people. I'm trying to support brick and mortar stores, but no longer 5 "Below"
I won't be going to any locations. It used to be one of my favorites to look around in, but I don't want to be accused again. I have a very hard time going out in public to begin with, and this was extremely humiliating and embarrassing. I would suggest going around things a different way. There's better ways around this. Also, stop judging people based on how they look!!
Got the cutest items from this store!!
Just awful customer service.
I dropped my keys at self-checkout and realized it right after leaving. I came back in, searched the area, asked an employee — and was told to *call back at closing* to see if they turned up. Seriously? I wasn't going to sit around hoping, so I tore through the store, the parking lot, and the outside trash cans for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, we watched that same employee stashing Halloween items for himself. Turns out, my keys were in the safe *the entire time*. No one bothered to check. When we asked again, another employee finally grabbed them like it was no big deal. It was. Absolutely unacceptable service — I won’t be coming back.
Honor Advertised Prices
If you have a whole, stand alone display that says batteries are $2.49 you should honor that price when it rings up for double. You should also tell your customer 'service' people to get a manager, have some urgency, that the price is wrong instead of basically being 'f you'
Five Below should change their store…
Five Below should change their store names to Five and Above. All of their items that used to be below $5.00 and less are now $7.00 and more. Prices on items are marked $5.55, but when you get to the register, they ring up $7.00 or more. When you ask an associate why the item rings up higher, they tell you it had a price change. Very deceiving.
This was a very impressing experience.
I am giving this 5 stars because they really had some cool stuff for low prices! I bought jelly beans today for less than $13! This helps me save money. Unlike walmart, the same stuff in five below you have to pay $10.00. Pre-5 stars, 9.5/10. Thank you for saving me an *ss-ton of money! Y'all keep it up and I might come back :)
Useless Mouse
I bought a wireless optical mouse, and while the product was properly sealed on all sides, the USB receiver was missing when I opened the box. Completely useless.

MANAGER FAIL
I would give a 5 star review to my sales person who did everything she could to help me, but have to take off stars because of the manager she reached out to. I had purchased a $30 gift card. On walking to the car, I noticed the pin number on the back had already been scratched off. I immediately went back in and asked for a new card. The sales person wasn't sure how to reissue the gift card within the return/repurchase system, so she called her manager and asked how to handle it in order to ensure it was done correctly. The manager told her to tell us "it was fine and the card we already had would work; no need to reissue." This was absolutely the WRONG advise from the manager, as that is a well-known "gift card fraud" within retail that every retail business is aware of. The pin# is scratched off, the card # is written down...then a customer purchases the card and the fraudster gets notification the card was purchased. The funds disappear before the card can be used by the purchaser. I do not appreciate her trying to minimize our concern in order to make her own job easier because she didn't want to deal with it. I insisted on a new card, which the store associate fully understood and agreed with. She had to call the manager back multiple times as the manager would not stay on the phone to assist the process. After 3 attempts at getting the right answer from the manager, and 30 minutes of dealing with this, it was finally decided to cancel the first card and issue a new one. ALL of this was the fault of the manager in my opinion. It was handled very poorly from start to finish by the manager alone, while the associate helping us in the store did everything she could to make it right. 5 Stars for the ASSOCIATE!!
My 11 year granddaughter went this…
My 11 year granddaughter went this stupid store. Nothing was priced right then when got up to the counter the cashier was super unprofessional. Rolling her eyes making facing at her. When my granddaughter ask her to repeat the she act like it was a problem. When my granddaughter was counting her money the lady told her to get out of the line because she was taking forever they were about the close minded you closed in 30 minutes
TERRIBLE EXPEREINCE
So I was on Five and Below on Saturday with my 70 year old Mother and as we were walking into the Store The Store Employees were playing catch with a football throwing it back and forth over Customers heads at the Entrance of the Store as they walked into the Store and it almost hit my 70 year old Mother right in the face!. There was also atleast 7 Employees all on the clock playing catch being loud on their phones boxes of inventory scattered l over the floor. This was The Five and Below in Baltimore, Maryland in Golden Ring.
I came here today and was looking at…
I came here today and was looking at the pet jewelry and thought it would look cute for one of my cats. When I came home I puts the necklace on my cat and thought he was fine with it. Later tonight I come out of my room to see my cat struggling. It all started when I put the jewelry on and I put it to the point where he can’t take it off or choke. And a while later the necklace was stuck to the bottom of his jaw unable to take it off and even I couldn’t take it off because his teeth were in the way so I had to cut the necklace off. He scratched me all over my hand meowing so loud and basically screaming. Do NOT put any kind of jewelry on your pets.
