I love the app and it would be 5 stars but sometimes it struggles to auto join my meetings and to be added in later

Great note taking tool for meetings .. and save your precious time for other things than administration taks ;-)

The meeting recording, transcription and summary notes has been working very well. I've used a few other platforms like tldv before fireflies and the quality difference in the notes is quite Stark.

The transcription is accurate, fast - the summaries are great, and it has some many more features. The support for so many languages and the very good redaction on them puts it above Otto and others I have tested. Highly recommend.

Accurate and easy video/audio transcription the way it should be. So many other transcription services miss the ball but this one doesn't.

In Turkish it makes alot of mistakes. Identifying tasks is not effiently working.

for automated meeting capture, this is the best app I've used. Way better transcription and summaries than what comes with Teams or Google meet. Totally worth the monthly subscription.

Note taking was never easy. You wanted to provide a gist but never had the correct words to do so. Fireflies puts things in perspective and constructs the sentences exactly i thought i would write.
It is literally forcing me to move away from taking paper notes...love it.

How they were able to pay for all of these good reviews is beyond me. Someone send you a link and you have to go through several screens in hopes of accessing a meeting summary. I gave up when they spammed me with an "onboarding" UI. What a waste of time and total ensh!!ifcation.
Now they will probably start spamming me with the email address I used to open the link.

The best AI meeting assistant I've ever used.
I've tried many others, but Fireflies has proven to be the best. Things I like: the simple and easy-to-use interface and the transcriptions themselves.

I’m a super power user of Fireflies.ai. I had used otter.ai for thousands of hours but was disappointed with the lack of translation fidelity. Then I started using fireflies and within short order concluded that the translation fidelity was much higher. I no longer needed some college kids to spend 2 hours cleaning every 1 hour of otter transcript. Fireflies got it right the first time 98% of the time. I say this having at least 300 hrs of fireflies transcription. I also like the chrome extension so i can see a running transcript for real time meeting summaries - i copy and paste into an LLM to summarize. I’m very happy w fireflies.

Fireflies joined a Teams meeting that I did not organise, and did so without authorisation. When I complained I was told that I had set it to join automatically. But then the assistant said that in future I should 'adjust the auto-join settings to "Join only when I invite x" to prevent any automatic joining'. So it seems the default is to join unless told not to. I have cancelled my trial.

Fireflies is my favourite app that I am currently using in my coaching business. It allows me to record and summarise sessions for clients that they can refer back to afterwards. Easy to use with Zoom and Teams.

This app has been a game changer for my business! I can focus on my clients and not worry about missing anything. The only downside is when discussing numbers it gets the value wrong if I say $995 it documents it as $9.95 other than that it’s awesome. It’s also great for organizing my thoughts while driving or just in my office. I would highly recommend!

Even though I use online meetings quite a bit, I always thought things like this were designed more for a typical "businessperson," which does not describe me. I work for a remote sales team and also run my own small business and serve on a community committee which mostly meets via Zoom. Between all of these separate areas of my life, it can get pretty complicated. Fireflies keeps me organized, and would probably be worth the price of admission JUST for the ability to query my meeting transcripts, but there are many more features than that. I'm sure I'm just barely scratching the surface but having action items automatically added to my tasks in ClickUp and Todoist is wonderful. The recordings seem cool but I haven't yet actually figured out how to use them personally. I guess my point is there's a lot of depth to it, and I'm sure I can optimize even more as time goes on. As far as redflags, I don't really have any yet. There are people who will object to my use of Fireflies because they just....I don't know.... don't trust technology in general I suppose. It doesn't come up for me very often but I suppose if you often meet with this type of person it would start to erode the value you get from Fireflies. Hopefully as time goes on this will get less and less prevalent.

Fireflies has saved me so much time and produced more effective documentation.
