FedEx Non-Delivery
Last Friday 23rd January 2026 FedEx were notified of a delivery to me from England. FedEx stated delivery would be on Wednesday 28th January 2026. On Tuesday 27th January at 5.17 am the packages were in Dartford GB and should have been in Dublin by the end of the day. There ChatBox gives a standard meaningless response to my queries. It is impossible to make human contact with FedEx and it looks like they have lost my packages.
Read This Before You Deal with FedEx!!! Appalling service – repeated failures, zero accountability
Read This Before You Deal with FedEx!!!
This is now the second time I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with FedEx in Ireland, and I can say with confidence that this company is completely unreliable and careless.
First experience:
My parcel was delayed over three weeks with no notice or explanation. When it finally arrived, it was damaged, and to make matters worse, the driver left it outside my door without knocking — while I was at home and my car was clearly parked outside. No attempt to contact me, no responsibility taken. Customer support was utterly useless and showed zero interest in resolving anything. I accepted the loss only because the value wasn’t high.
Unfortunately, this was NOT a one-off.
Second (and far more serious) experience:
I ordered a very expensive item from abroad, they unfortunately shipped via FedEx. The parcel arrived in Ireland and was marked as “Out for delivery”. I took time off work to be at home waiting for it.
No one showed up.
By 6pm, the tracking magically updated to “Not delivered / Not attempted.”
I contacted customer support via chat to ask why a parcel that was out for delivery was not delivered. Instead of answering the question, the agent kept repeating that it was “scheduled for tomorrow.” After repeatedly pressing for a real explanation, I was finally told the truth: the driver didn’t make it because their shift ended and had to return to the depot.
No notice. No update. No courtesy.
I explained that I would need to take another day off work and asked if the delivery could be marked as urgent. I was explicitly told yes, it would be delivered the next day.
Guess what?
No delivery again.
No note. No explanation. No tracking clarity. Nothing.
At this point, I have no idea where my expensive parcel is — whether it’s lost, damaged, or stolen. Customer support is practically non-existent, the depot apparently closes earlier than stated as asked a friend to visit after their work, they went just before 6pm and doors were locked, the phone line is useless due to an automated system that prevents reaching a real person, and I live hours away from the depot - but I doubt they will have it there since the tracking details keep showing it is on a van and out for delivery and then that delivery not attempted...
FedEx sets false expectations, wastes customers’ time, and takes no responsibility when things go wrong.
We pay for a service — and when that service is this substandard, causes loss of income, wasted leave from work, stress, and potentially lost high-value items, there should be accountability and compensation.
This company has no right to treat customers or their parcels this way.
Avoid if you value your time, your money, or your sanity.
Poland
I have received a parcel shipped from Europe in 3 days!
Pat in Kilkenny is a fantastic representative of your company.
Courier signed for package we never received
FedEx has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They claim my package was delivered and even show a “signature” — except it wasn’t mine. The courier signed for it themselves and left me with nothing. When I contacted support, I was basically told there’s nothing they can do because their system shows it as delivered.
So apparently FedEx can mark a package as delivered, forge a signature, and the customer is just out of luck. No accountability, no investigation, no help. Completely unacceptable and deeply frustrating. I’ll be avoiding FedEx from now on.

I think I have all other reviewers beat.

It took 9 weeks to get delivery of my parcel. Sent from England to Ireland it was posted on December 1st. It sat in Stansted for a a few days, then went to the Netherlands for a week or two. Traveled onward to Vienna Austria stayed for three days then went to Belgium. Tired of travelling it rested there for some time. After Christmas it took up travelling again and went back to The Netherlands someone there looked at the label and decided that Ireland meant England and returned it to Kingsbury UK. After the weekend with a blinding flash of understanding someone in FedEx UK realised that Dublin Ireland meant ——-Dublin Ireland. It arrived on the 19th January.
FEDX are the most hopeless couriers in the world.

Parcel has been sitting in Dublin for a week and no delivery date. I’ve been lied to twice about delivery dates and stayed home from work expecting a delivery that never arrived
Worst service
Worst service. Parcel sitting in Santry for 3 days after 12 days transit from Poland. Then the driver gets sassy. Mug.
Fools
The worst courier
The worst courier. Never meets delivery deadlines. I definitely do not recommend.
An absolute joke of a company.
An absolute joke of a company.
Sending invoiced to be paid despite emailing them with queries apparently resolved only to find more invoices for non-payments. No customer service available either.
Late delivery from a Danish company
Late delivery from a Danish company. Only their chatbot available to answer queries. No human interface available. One word only can describe their incompetence...USELESS.
I have advised my supplier of this experience and hope they will not use them again.

Why do they market and advertise pick…
Why do they market and advertise pick up for paid labels?? Paid €20 for a label to sort a return and then the website doesn't allow you to pick any times for any given day on mobile, desktop or the app!
Went to trouble shoot it and apparently its a common issue thousands have reported for years. Called the customer service as a guest and its an AI chat bot that refused to help or pass me to an agent. It would also cut across me when I told it I already attempted what it done. It then told me you cant call and schedule pick up and need to go via the route that doesnt work.
This is the poorest service I've ever experienced with any currier especially considering theyre here years!
Apparently they great in the Uk and central Europe but for Ireland avoid them at all cost!
$29 book invoiced at 131.38 euro
I received a copy of a book from my son in New York a few months ago. The cost of the book was $29.00. Currently this book costs $39.00 on Amazon.com and 34.53 euro on Amazon.co.uk.
Last week a letter arrived from FedEx with a Tax and Duty invoice for 41.63 euro, based on an invoiced amount of 131.38 euro (changed to 132.22 in the Calculation of Taxes). I am unable to get a human to speak to at any FedEx number but I need a clear explanation of why the book was invoiced at a cost that is clearly greater than the cost of the book.
I placed my order with Walmart on Jan…
I placed my order with Walmart on Jan 3, 2026 and was supposed to have gotten my package on January 8. This very stupid driver says he tried to deliver my package but I wasn't at home. That's a lie I've been here at home the whole time. It is going on the 10th this same driver that's been given this route still saying he can't find my apt? Ain't worth a dime. He doesn't use logic with his eyesight this is who they have working for them and it's given them a very bad name. So I called and reported on him and that I want my damn package right away. Because of this lousy stupid driver I will not be using Fedex ever again. Walmart need to use another courier, shipper other than this company.
FedEx telling lies
For 5 days, Fedex is saying our business was closed. It was open all the time. Now, they say they could not get a signature today. We were here all day.
Absolutely useless company
I purchased an item from a company who used fedex as there courier, I paid for express delivery and a week later have still not received my item. FedEx have no idea where it is and there tracking system is completely useless. They have to be the worst large scale courier company in the country. I had no choice but to request a refund from the company I had purchased from and let them deal with getting there package back from FedEx
1/5 star "services" should be replaced by bots.
On 12 December 2025 I attempted to send three parcels at FedEx’s largest Dublin station.
Their website advertises that the process is “completely online,” yet staff refused to accept my parcels without printed labels. No printer was available, and when I asked where to find one nearby, the staff member simply said “I don’t know,” leaving me stranded with a taxi outside.
This is misleading advertising: if FedEx claims the service is online‑only, customers should not be forced into offline tasks like printing. I have lodged a formal complaint with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) to investigate whether these practices comply with consumer law.
FedEx’s failures are not isolated. Ongoing strikes through ASL Airlines, widespread 1‑star reviews, and even international scandals show systemic issues. The lack of basic facilities and empathy at this station reflects a company culture of apathy. At minimum, every office should provide a printer for customers.
Right now FedEx operates at a 1/5 star level of service that makes a stronger case for automation, robots could at least deliver fully online services with simulated empathy. Ireland deserves better than this.
I have had one of the worst delivery and return experiences I have ever dealt with, and it was entirely caused by FedEx’s service
I bought a pair of boots from Vagabond and needed to return them. Scheduling a pick-up with FedEx has been nearly impossible. The website does not work properly, the scheduling cannot be completed, and it repeatedly says there is no availability for my area.
After contacting the store, FedEx started calling me and scheduled three different pick-ups. They did not show up for any of them. After failing to appear three times, they simply stopped calling or trying to contact me. Then, without any prior notice, they suddenly showed up at my house yesterday, on December 11, 2025. I was not home, and they left a note saying the attempt failed because I was not there.
Today is December 12, 2025, and nothing has been resolved. I have been trying for weeks to return my product, and FedEx has failed at every step of the process: the website does not work, the pick-ups are missed, communication stops without explanation, and they show up randomly with no notice.
This has been an extremely frustrating and completely unnecessary experience. I will avoid using FedEx from now on, and I strongly advise others to do the same.
Lost/stolen parcel
My parcel from The Netherlands to Ireland has been stolen in FedEx Depot in Dublin. It was an expensive electronic item. Last scan shows it arrived in Dublin and no trace after that. After raising a case with FedEx I was advised there is nothing they can do, case is closed and if I want to I can bring this up with the shipper. I wouldn’t recommend FedEx to any businesses.
