AC hadn't been working for some time. Wanted a recharge as heading to South of England. Was aware that seals etc could be dried out so asked about it before deciding to go ahead. Was told machine woukd find any major leaks but small leaks may mean gas would be lost in a few weeks. long enough to get us through the trip. Lasted 2 days. Not great advice, happy to take my cash with little hope of working

MOT and extra work was needed as expected. Josh did a great job keeping me informed with thorough estimates provided. Friendly and courteous and the price was fair for the work completed.

Failed MOT
Failed MOT, apparently couldn’t get the parts to fix the car, so told me to take it away and source parts myself before bringing it back. Called another garage and they ordered the part and got it within 2 hours. Really poor customer service

The car was booked in for air condition…
The car was booked in for air condition recharge and and I collected the car same as when it went in!
The mechanic said that he had re-gassed the car but was not sure why it was not working as it should.
There was no charge for the service on this occasion!

Helpful most of the time
Helpful but only if the solution is easy. My car wouldn't pass MOT and they had nothing to suggest to me and wouldn't help. I realise it may not have been their speciality but I wish they could at least recommend someone. I had to travel out of Edinburgh to get my car fixed which was a pain in the neck. But at other times, for MOT and servicing they're great, flexible and without fuss. Ryan was great at advising me on which tyres to fit as well.
