So simple

Wanted to update my will and found this company via SSAFA. The initial questions were easy to answer to determine exactly if the product was suitable for me. Completing the online form/questions was so simple and within a few days I had my completed and approved will in my email. Just need to organise getting it witnessed and signed up.

Hi there, I’m Thomas.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I’m really glad to hear the questions helped you work out whether the service was right for you and that completing the will online felt simple from start to finish. It’s also great to know everything was reviewed and returned to you so quickly.

You’re absolutely right that the final step is getting the will signed and witnessed correctly so it becomes legally valid and binding.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience with us.

Best wishes,
Thomas.

Probate dealings have been awful

Probate dealings have been awful. You sign up with Farewill then they pass your case over to another solicotors (in our case NewLaw and Sail Legal) who have both been abysmal. My mother left her estate in perfect order with everything simple to deal with and yet nearly a year on we are still working through grant applications. I've contacted Farewill 3 times now to say I wasn't happy with the service and they haven't even given me the grace of responding. I should have just gone with a local law firm. Terrible service, just a fancy website as a front for a broker who takes your money and palms you off to any substandard solicotors. Awful service in what is a very difficult time for the family.

Never leave % or residue to charities

Because they allowed my father to leave residue to charities they administration of the estate was delayed by the charities. Cheap or free, you get what you pay for! I suspect they are paid for by charity chuggers

Poor service

What started off as a great conversation with Farewill, has ended up being a disaster once the solicitors have taken over. We have been sent forms with incorrect details continuously, the solicitor didn't check the details properly before sending to court, which resulted in probate being rejected. This had finally been resolved after 11 months, but they have still sent the probate grant to the incorrect person. Absolute nightmare of a company to deal with.
