Always liked Fairphone. Some problems with the e/OS/ version of the phone, some apps doesn't work. I can manage, but for casual users it's sadly not the right choice.

Very quick delivery of a new battery…
Very quick delivery of a new battery for my Fairphone 3. After almost 7 years, my second-hand Fairphone 3 is still serving well. The battery started to last very short, but luckily the company allows for replacement of the main components:)

Ordering the new display fir fairphone 5 was easy and it arrived in few days.

Good value for its price tier
Replaced my Sony WH1000-XM3 with Fairbuds XL.
Pros:
- Ethically sourced
- Presumably modular and repairable
- Rather cheap price point, compared to high-end alternatives like Sony WH1000-XM6
- Bluetooth works very well and allows seamless switching directly from one device to another, which was a huge nuisance for me with Sony. I frequently switch between 2 different PCs and my phone for work calls.
Cons:
- Audio quality is not as good as as high-end options
- Active noise cancelling could be better. It works for my use cases, but is noticeably worse than e.g., Sony's.
Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. It fills my needs and aligns with my values, but if one is looking for a high-end device, I'd be mindful of the cons I listed.

9 days later and it's still not arrived
So far 9 days later and it's still not arrived. Was to replace a broken phone, so we've had to buy a different one, and have requested a refund, but not had a response

Fine experience
It was a bit hard to find the DAC converter cable, but apart from that all is fine. A tip could be to make it possible to activate an older order line.

Fitting straightforward but delivery less so
Fitting the part was straightforward, but getting it was more difficult. The cost of having it delivered to my house was enormously high - about £9 - but the places from which I could collect it were all at least 5 miles (8km) away, raising the carbon footprint of the part and the service.
