I guess if the process had taken a little longer, we may have developed a friendly rapport. Could be useful advice for Joe who's taking over post sales, and also Will who I've just spoken with.
PS. After reading the reply below, I should say I didn't sell with Express, I bought a property with them. I think this could reiterate the need for staff to take a little more time over a task. Hey management, a little less pressure on your staff maybe ?

Started off well talking the talk
Started off well talking the talk, it became quickly apparent that they can't live up to all they say.
1. Vetting buyers so you won't have any no shows. Not only did we have plenty of no shows but Express were often completely unavailable to provide clarification if anyone was coming, despite claiming to have a 24/7 enquiry line.
2. Initially said they could provide a viewing service through a 3rd party. This never materialised despite repeated requests until I told them we were removing our property from the market.
3. And by far the worst point. We had multiple prospective buyers let us know how poor the communication had been with one giving up entirely and having to post us a letter.
4. I don't believe in coincidences, but some how they found us an offer the same day I told them I was removing my property from their service.
5. Provided no help to ensure completion day went smoothly with any kind of key hand over.
Some of these points could be forgiven if they were not also charging the same price as the local agents that do provide an inclusive, good service!
I would highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Georgia kept us informed along the way and we learned more from her about progress than we did from our solicitor.
Even when there was nothing to report she still rang to let us know the situation and we did seem to get messed about a lot from various people in our chain.
This whole process has taken a long time but she has been the most helpful of anyone we dealt with.

All good over the phone but no response on email
Well it was a phone call against the scheduled zoom call. Although, not a deal breaker, it prevents establishing interpersonal vendor-customer relationship. Secondly and a big one, there has been no response on my query I had sent after the call. It has been more than a week. So clearly, this has made my decision easier and I'll be choosing your competitor, "British Homebuyers".
