Fundamentally, ExecThread provides access to listings you can't find elsewhere. That's why you come here, and that's what you get. In many cases, it's the only way you're going to get your foot in the... See more
Do not use this platform for your job search. I did a trial and I got so much spam, if I clicked on a link it didn’t go to the job advertised. It was a waste of time. I was then charged when the trial... See more

Valuable service for exec-level job seekers
I've been an ExecThread member for years and get a ton of value out of the website and weekly emails.
Fake company
Fake company. They want you to pay them to apply for positions that already look suspicious. Avoid this company (if they are in fact real).
Very little value
Vast majority of "confidential" jobs are in reality easy to find with a google search of the job description and link to recruiting firms who have those job postings in the public domain (e.g. Charles Aris, Barton Partnership, etc.). They also spam LinkedIn with multiple copies of the same jobs so the volume of jobs you get is massively inflated, and several of those jobs are reposted every day so you get a false sense of actual quantity of opportunities. Would not recommend.
Their jobs on LinkedIn are fake
Their jobs on LinkedIn are fake. They have the exact same job with the exact same description listed in 15 different cities across the US, supposedly all on-location jobs. It’s not possible that these are real. It is simply a phishing net to lure people to the website, where they then charge users money. Based on the other reviews this website will likely be shut down soon.
Great platform; highly recommend!
An awesome user experience and very helpful tool; but I might be a bit biased since I’m the founder :)
Stay away from this company
Stay away from this company, scam, useless, unethical. The information is outdated or could be found publically on LinkedIn, they trick customers by buriying "auto-renewal" policy in Terms of Services.
Avoid at all costs!!! You've been warned.
I would not recommend ExecThread to anyone looking for job opportunities. The listings on their website seem suspicious and are not legitimate. Additionally, the company requests personal information and money from users, which they then sell to other scammers. After signing up with ExecThread, I immediately started receiving spam emails from other sketchy companies. It is best to avoid this company altogether.
Total waste of money
Total waste of money. If you want to check it out for yourself, do the trial BUT cancel well in advance of the renewal as they have a hair trigger on billing. Their posts are nothing that isn't already on LinkedIn or Indeed. Don't be fooled. Total waste.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. I subscribed to a 6 month plan with auto-renewal. OK fine. I renewed one time as my choice. Toward the end of that renewal I tried to cancel. "Mysteriously" a few days before the renewal my login credentials failed--website went into a loop of some sort and it was impossible to "cancel". So my credit card was charged a 3rd time. I tried to log-in again a few days before the end of THAT renewal in order to "cancel" and again "mysteriously" my log-in credentials failed and the website went into a loop--I tried about 5 different times over a couple days and same issue. So just today they charged my credit card a 4th time ($150 each time). AND then today after they charged my card I was able to log in normally on the first try. And so rather than use the next 6 months of the site that they "took my money" for, I simply CANCELED immediately (fool me once, shame on You, fool me twice....) And canceling was not easy either. There is a link they draw your attention to labeled "unsubscribe to weekly emails". They deceptively try to make you believe you are "unsubscribing to the Site", but really it in only unsubscribing "emails", so you will continue to be charged without your knowing. But aside from this, the site is a scam anyway. In 18 months I received only a single "early-on" response from a "recruiter", and this was "so over-played" by the recruiter(s) that it too was an obvious fake job posting and a fake reply--one recruiter passed me to his "buddy" who "recommended me" to the company for a "CEO job" without so much as a disussion!! There were some "strange and unusual" unsolicited red-flag communications from both of these so-called "tag-team recruiters" over the following month or so, and then of course the job evaporated. The cancelation policy is a scam, and essentially every single job I saw that was "interesting" to me also appeared on linked-in in the weeks or month prior to appearing here. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY ON THIS SITE--IT IS SCAM THROUGH AND THROUGH. IT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. IF I HAD THE TIME I WOULD PURSUE SHUTTING IT DOWN, BUT I DON'T. SO BUYER "BEWARE". Note that this is not a complaint because I didn't have job success on this site. I have far far more money than I can ever spend in the rest of my life. It is a complaint simply so that scam companies get whatever help I can give them to dissappear from civil society.
Irrelevant to a job search
Signed up for Execthread when undertaking a job search. The site itself isn't easy to use, and spends more effort - and continually sends spam emails - to get you to sign up for premium (paid) service, and to access your contacts! The openings sent over were also 99.9% irrelevant; the same job title but in unsuitable industries. Don't waste your time.
A marketing scam at best
A marketing scam at best, possibly even worse based on other reviews. Seems like they offered a bogus job online in order to get me to provide personal information. And per another reviewer's comment, with seemingly all one-star reviews, how is it that their Trust Pilot score is 3.5 stars????
Absolute Junk!!
Absolute junk. They use deceptive marketing to get you to sign up for a slightly-less-than-30-day trial period, hoping that you forget to cancel their crap job site before the end of the trial period. Of course, they'll refuse any request for a refund. The majority of their jobs are located in a very small selection of U.S. cities while the rest are in foreign countries. Don't waste your money! The site appears to be little more than a side hustle/scam by some fella who lives off Nutter Butters in his mom's basement.
confidential jobs are nothing of the sort.
So this company claims they have access to confidential jobs - it's just not true.
The last three jobs I looked at where just jobs that were publicly available they claimed were confidential. I certainly would not give them a penny.
It’s a total scam
It’s a total scam, and also is trust pilot? They have 4 - 1 star reviews that does not equal 3 stars
They do nothing and they don't refund…
They do nothing and they don't refund your money when you ask You need to have your credit card block them bc in their fine print they say they will automatically charge unless you log in and cancel. Calling does not work AND even then it takes numerous tries to cancel. So be sure the credit card knows to block this vendor. and by the way, they have never helped anyone i know get anywhere near an exec or board position.
Scam Artists. Unethical.
I purchased a year subscription. Useless. Outdated jobs. They charged me $243 a year later for an auto-renew (apparently buried in the TOS link) and never provided advance notice that my subscription was about to renew. Three days later, when I saw the charge, I requested a refund. They refused. Their reply:
Hi Eric,
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund. You proactively opted into our terms of service when signing-up for a recurring Full Access Membership subscription, which you could have canceled at any time prior to the automatic renewal, and which also state that the fees listed are fully-earned upon payment and are non-refundable. However, we can still "pause" your Full Access Membership, which will allow you to reactivate your remaining time at any point in the future.
To pause your Full Access Membership click here and see the Membership Preferences section.
I wish you all the best, and I hope ExecThread proves helpful to you in the near-term & beyond.
Best,
The ExecThread Team
Great Salesman, Incompetent Service
I had a great conversation with the salesman who said they'd helped candidates with exactly my experience and career goals land this position. I signed up, filled in the intake forms, and they turned the account over to a woman who copy and pasted my old resumes, with the job title I was looking for, and added muddying, pretentious, business jargon to make what had been clear - inaccurate.
Unusable.
Tried to create an account on Exec Thread, but just caught in a loop. Don't use, its a waste of time.
