Please avoid

AVOID

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! I booked with them to take my bike over to Italy for Ironman. Haven’t heard from them since I booked back in September 2024 and they won’t respond to any of my emails! They also don’t have a phone number to contact them. E300 down the drain. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I will never book with them again and I honestly think they set up for big SCAM!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! I booked them to take my bike over to Copenhagen for Ironman next week. Haven’t heard a peep from them since I booked back in February and they won’t respond to any of my emails! They also don’t have a phone number on the website so no way of contacting them. 11 days out from race day with no clue how I’m going to get my bike over there. £250 of my hard earned money down the drain. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and I will be seeking legal advice.

Avoid these scammers at all costs

Avoid these scammers at all costs. They took £299 from me for IM Nice then cancelled 3 weeks before event. They advised that I was entitled to a refund and that it had been processed. No refund has appeared in my bank and the website has been taken down and the phone lines no longer work. Raised a payment dispute with my bank and they have been unable to recover my money. So I’m essentially £299 out of pocket.

Booked them for IM Kalmar. They seem to have gone out of business and not contacted anyone (I had already paid my fee to them). Avoid, in whatever incarnation they reappear in.

A wasted £329 and a potentially lost race.

I paid £329 for them to transport my bike to the World Champs at Pontevedra, and I understood that the deal was that they would give me my bike there. However they have a very inflexible system for collection, involving the van driver waiting for a limited time in a car park somewhere in town. I was held up in the airport for 4 hours and missed this 3-hour time slot, so although they waited 2 and a half hours, it wasn't enough, so they never gave me the bike. If I hadn't been able to rent a bike at the last minute, I would have had to abandon a World Championship race that I had travelled all that way for. They are now not responding to emails and the websites and phone are not available. A terrible company - AVOID!

No refund after 7 weeks

Despite cancelling my bike transfer 7 weeks ago and assuring me of a refund I have received no refund and lately no replies to my emails, the telephone number is not in operation, my bank is trying to get my refund but the next stepis legal action, a terrible unprofessional operation, AVOID

One star is one more than they deserve

Unquestionably the worst company I've ever dealt with. Took five weeks to return my bike, totally failed to communicate, and clearly couldn't care less. My bike went on a European tour without my consent and then just got dumped at a bike shop so they didn't have to talk to me. Total joke of a company. They've shut down the brand now but they're relaunching with a new name - I'll be sure to pop up again to tell their new prospective customers to avoid them.

I still have not received a refund and now have to spend additional time chasing them through the bank.

DO NOT put faith in this group of people to deliver anything they promise.

ETI Tri is now TRI bike transport AVOID!!!

Only reason I have given a 1 star is because no option for zero. Shambles of a company. I made a booking for bike transport at a cost of £299 at no point did they keep in contact me about my booking. I’ve tried to get info for over a week only to be continually fobbed off by by the Irish woman answering the phone. They have since disconnected their phones and their website has been taken down and replaced with a new one Tri bike transport. Anyone reading this post please beware that this will be the same crowd so avoid booking on this website.

Desperate communication and no…

Desperate communication and no accountability

We used E-Tri Transport to ship our bikes to Hamburg for an Ironman event and we still haven’t had them returned. While the outbound journey went smoothly, the return process has been a complete shambles.

It has now been 23 days since our bikes were handed over to the company in Hamburg, and we’ve been left completely in the dark. No updates, no timelines, and no communication from E-Tri, despite repeated attempts to contact them.

The only reason we even know the bikes are back in Ireland is because one of the lads had a GPS tracker on his bike — that’s how we discovered they returned to the country three days ago. Since then, the bikes haven’t moved from storage. Still, not a single call or email from E-Tri to let us know what’s going on.

Every time I ring them, I’m told they’ll “get on to the right department” and that someone will call me back. No one ever does. Emails go unanswered. At this point, it feels like we’re just left waiting and hoping the bikes eventually show up.

This was supposed to be a professional service, handling high-value bikes for a major international event. Instead, it’s been nothing but stress and silence.

Would not recommend. Use a company that actually values communication and customer service.

Would not recommend.

Poor communication- was emailing, texting and ringing to try and confirm bike pick up times for about two weeks and in the end the booking was cancelled due to low numbers leaving us stuck just a few weeks before the race.

Bike damaged and won’t repair it

While the service was okay in dropping off the bike and picking it up. My bike was badly damaged in transit. My carbon frame was rubbing against another bike on collection in France. When picking the bike back up in the UK again more damage was done to the forks this time. Total damage is £1,100. While I slightly accept they want £500 for the insurance claim. They are totally ignoring my emails and phone calls now so they don’t need to claim on the insurance. Total lack of respect to blatantly ignore people after they damage your bike and even accepting the damage was caused by them. I would avoid at all costs if you don’t want your bike damaged and not to be insured.
