Kiran Zulfiqar and team 1 have been absolutely fantastic. Very supportive and really helpful. They kept me updated with progress at every step and also have been there to answer all questions along the way.

Kiran has been very understanding with my circumstances and has helped me get into my property by the date I needed.

We were recommended to use Eric Smith as they were easy to deal with. We started our house sale and purchase in Nov 2021 with the view to be moving in Jan 2022. Unfortunately, this did not happen due to several Solicitors assigned to our case leaving. We were not told and had to keep on chasing! However, when assigned to Kaz, I could not fault her at all! She was brilliant from start to finish and managed to sort our purchase out quicker in 1 week than any of the other 5months we had been passed around in the company. She was so pleasant, supportive and very pro-active. Fast communication and even responded out of hours. She is an asset to Eric Smith and we wish she had been on our case from the beginning. Thank you Kaz for all your hard work getting us our dream property.

If no star was an option I would have used instead. To summarise, terrible service throughout our conveyancing. Poor communication, at times rude. Everything left till last minute, unnecessarily making us exchange and complete on the same day and unable to claim our ISA bonus. Currently they are not replying to the service manager leaving us to run up service arrears in our new home.

Very very bad experience, I would never advise anybody to use this company, very poor communication, taken ten months and my Morgage has not gone through yet, the company is very poor, I do not know what service I am paying for as this is very bad. I will never use this company again in my life. It’s been trouble from word one, still paying rent when I could be paying my Morgage off!!! The place wants closing down that’s how poor the place is!!! It’s the longes experience my Morgage adviser has had to deal with to get a Morgage completion for anybody! Please do not use!!! And it’s not cheap. Will do an update.

It is a terrible experience to us. Please don't use this firm. I instructed this solicitor to act on behalf of us to purchase a property in Nov, we have to choose them as they are on the panel list of our mortgage bank. We submitted all the documents in early Nov and thought things will start. We need to follow up with them the status and they come back to us that the original solicitor has resigned in Dec 2021. We were not informed at all about that and only found out when we chased them after a month. They reassigned the case to another solicitor which we need to inform all parties again. But the service did not improve, we still need to chase the new solicitor time to time when our seller/estate agent chased us. There are no active update throughout the process, you don't know where is your case up to. After 1st March , we still haven't got any confirmed exchange date at all. With some reason, we have to withdraw the first purchase but want to start another one , we sent email to the solicitor and the assistant and asked them for a new quote , they keep saying that we need to go through via mortgage broker, I totally cannot understand at all as every conveyancing company should accept client direct contact instead of broker. Even my mortgage broker said I don't need to go through them and can contact the solicitor directly. The conversation go back and forth I decided to give up. Nothing transparent with this firm , they charge me 200 deposit , I asked them to let me know how much they already spent on searches/expenses, as they said it is no charges if the deal does not complete. And as expected, you won't get an answer from them. Really very poor experience for me to use a solicitor in UK. I won't recommend this firm to anyone and will inform my broker also not to recommend this firm to anyone too. Wasting time and money.

Absolutely useless from day 1, 6 weeks and the person dealing with our move is taken off our case as he’s suffering from stress, start again from day 1, did 95% of their work for them, had to chase them every day, moved eventually and had to drive to the solicitors to sign paperwork, everything completed and we hadn’t signed contracts, overcharged at the end, got a part refund but no breakdown, this is a Mickey Mouse company, avoid at all costs

I would like to thank Kiran and Junaid at Team 1 for all the help and support provided in the transfer of my house. I was kept informed at all stages and it was a very smooth and stress free process. I would definitely recommend to anyone buying or selling a house.

I can highly recommend Eric smith solicitors . I was buying my first property team 2 at the bolton office help me every step of the way, with prompt communication. I paid money on account and then the seller pulled out mid searches. Eric smith solicitors returned my money the same day again with prompt communication. I am now looking at different properties and will defiantly be going back to them. I can not thank them enuf as i was a nightmare of a client when i got the bad news the seller pulled out.

Jack was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the whole process. Jack was very quick to response to any inquiries I had, he made the process very easy as buy a house as a 1st time buyer can be very stressful and overwhelming. Would definitely recommend Eric Smitch solicitors

I use this firm for the last four years every time I need them they do fantastic job , specially Zulf & Jack I would recommend them to everyone , well done guys.

Awful experience. Appointed this company in September 21 for conveyancing services and to exchange and complete before Christmas. Nothing was done, absolutely negligent. In Jan 22 had to change solicitor and reacted only then. They are retaining money from me from the early searches I have paid them. I have reported them to the SRA. Do not use this company

Really poor communication, where everything was left until the last minute and seemingly made as difficult as possible - absolutely did not feel they were on our side at all. Didn't claim our Help to Buy ISA bonuses and were the least helpful they could be while covering their own behinds. Unpleasant, at times rude, inefficient and incompetent.

Me and my husband have just purchased our first house using Erich Smiths. Adnan was our solicitor through this process and he was brilliant! He was very quick to communicate with us through email and phone calls. He has been very helpful! We could not thank him enough!!
