My first time using Enterprise Car Club. The car provided a comfortable experience. The car was easy to locate and was found tidy and presentable. Overall experience was satisfaction.
Simple. Convenient. Great value for money. Exactly what I needed.

Dreadful.
I recently moved to a new area and tried to sign up to the Car Club because I don’t have my own car.
After submitting my application, I received an email saying that my application had been declined because automated checks had been unable to verify my identity.
I was not approached by a member of staff, and could have easily verified my identity and residency status.
Very disappointing that the company’s policies are set up to exclude people like me at a time when they are most likely to need their services.
My experience was great up until this recent bad experience. They will charge you for damages with no proof and will ignore emails challenging them. Disputed charges, and they did not care.

The van reserved wouldn’t unlock. Enterprise reimbursed a taxi to the replacement and discounted 10£ but our trip took over 1.5h extra, which left us very unhappy.

Refused to let me sign up. As I have a New Zealand drivers license, they asked me to present it at a physical store. They did not warn me I only had one day to do so, and when I wasn't able to, they refused over email to let me sign up, saying I had "failed" my identity check.
Completely shit customer service and experience.

Lovely near new car, very clean and plenty of fuel, and only a ten minute walk for myself..

Enterprise Cr Club have just charged us 400 pounds for damage to the car which absolutely did NOT happen when we hired the car. It relates to a slashed tyre which must have been slashed when the car was parked after we hired it.
They are trying to get me to pay me for the damage that was done AFTER my rental.
I had inspected the car before and after the rental and reported the damage I found, but they are trying to charge me for something that happened later.
If you ever use this company, make sure you take a full and detailed video of every inch of the car, inside and outside, before starting your journey.
Otherwise without proof they can charge you for anything.
EDIT: Despite the reply below, Enterprise did NOT call me today, but merely sent me an email that effectively brushed off my complaint. There has been no assistance to "get this sorted" so that's another lie.

Clean van, easy to use. Simple unlock / drive / lock. Clear instructions on refuelling. Good app.

The company messed up, and instead of putting things right, defending its undefendable position. They overcharged me and can't explain why. They don't provide notice of when & how much they will charge. They then leave telephone agents to take the brunt and are happy when the customer is left out of pocket and unhappy.

Booked a car until 23:00 on a Sunday. At collection, the reservation showed only until 21:00. The app's only option was auto-extend, which I used twice to 22:30 before the app crashed. I returned the car at 23:00, the time I'd originally booked, and was charged £30 for the extra 30 minutes, nearly double my full-day fee. Customer service said I should have phoned in advance. When the booking is wrong and the app is crashing, calling a helpline shouldn't be the customer's fallback. A booking error on their side became a penalty on mine.

I would strongly advise people to think twice before signing up with Enterprise Car Club.
My experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. I cancelled my membership within the 14-day cooling-off period, yet Enterprise is refusing to refund a £10 application fee. I have repeatedly asked them to show me exactly where, before I paid, it was clearly explained that this fee would be non-refundable even if I cancelled within the cooling-off period.
Rather than simply addressing the issue and providing clear evidence of the terms I agreed to, I have had to repeatedly chase for answers and still have not received a satisfactory resolution.
Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience. I previously had an issue relating to my partner’s membership and left a review about it. Enterprise responded publicly saying they would contact me to resolve the matter. They did contact me, but the issue was never properly resolved and I ultimately had to escalate it through my credit card company.
Two separate experiences, both involving poor communication, frustration and having to take matters further than should have been necessary.
For a company of Enterprise’s size and reputation, I find this level of customer service completely unacceptable. Enterprise seriously needs to review how its customer service team handles complaints, disputes and customer concerns.
Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a company, escalate matters externally and fight to get clear answers about charges and refunds.
I would strongly recommend being extremely careful when signing up, reading every fee and cancellation term thoroughly, and keeping records of all correspondence.
Very disappointing and, in my experience, not the standard of customer service you would expect from Enterprise.
