Great experience
The entire experience so far has been great, anytime I’ve spoken to customer service they’ve been really useful and friendly. The website all made sense and was easy to use, and the car was delivered when expected and looked great.

Elmo made everything easy
Elmo made everything easy. The service is a brilliant idea and it takes all the anxiety out of going green when it comes to a car for what was (for my partner and me) a manageable monthly fee. The cars with a decent range are so expensive to buy outright and the tech advances mean models can be rendered obsolete quite quickly, which was a concern for us. Not the case with Elmo! The whole subscription process went smoothly and customer service were really responsive to any questions I had. The guy who delivered the car even showed up a bit early (he called first), was really personable, enthusiastic, and patient with me as he went over everything with me and I asked questions. The charge card that you get with the car is a huge convenience as well, as you don't have to juggle any energy provider subscriptions and it opens up more charging options for you. The only downside (not worth a demerit for a review) was that there were was an extra cost on top of the base rate they quote initially on the website (a small monthly surcharge if you're based in London, and I sort of expected that as it's the same thing with car insurance, so it didn't come as a shock). I'm two weeks in and loving the car and am pretty sure I'll stick with it for awhile. I'm really surprised at how much guilt I had associated with driving a petrol car before, so driving my Elmo hire is made even more enjoyable by comparison!

Great, if you don't mind being charged late
We had a Peugeot e-2008 for 2 months and loved it. Delivered on time, and gleaming. Sohail in their CS team was helpful when we asked to extend the mileage allowance to 1000. Lost marks, however, for a recurring inability to be able to take a payment on time. We even had to set up a new direct debit to resolve it.

Excellent service across the board
Elmo provide a really excellent service across the board and everything has been trouble free. A really helpful way of bridging the gap between company cars and introducing me to having an EV - I have ordered one as my new company car. Everyone at Elmo has been great with a special mention to Jade and Samantha. I recommend them to anyone needed a flexible EV lease.

Awesome service!
I looked at several EV subscription companies prior to choosing elmo, Trustpilot made the decision making process easy when you compare elmo to their competition. Anyway, Ive had an MG ZS for about three months, the whole experience of booking the vehicle and taking the delivery was excellent. The vehicle is also great and will be looking to upgrade at some point this year

These guys are the business...
I became stuck when there was a delay to my company car arriving from China. It was due to arrive in May 2022 and i kept getting promised a delivery date every 3 months. This uncertainty was killing me as i did not know what to do. Hiring a car was really expensive and leasing tied me up for 6 months or more and was expensive especially with deposit.
Luckily I stumbled across Elmo - not only was the price great, as I got a new EV car with 800 mile allowance a month for an all in price which was brilliant and beat even PCP and lease deals, but I also didn't have to put any deposit down! On top of this I got the convenience of hiring on a 1 month rolling basis all i had to do was give 30 days notice to return. Even when i did give notice my car was delayed again - no problem a quick 5 minute chat with Chanel and it was all sorted - car collection cancelled and new date installed. If I went over the mileage no problem they give you an extra 200 miles a month for 5%.
Honestly I cannot fault these guys. So rare these days to have this kind of flexibility, customer service and great price all in one package. If you have the car for 6 months they even throw in a new charging unit! I really looked hard in the market and there really is no one like these guys doing what they do.
Highly highly recommend these guys and I never recommend anyone normally.

I saw Elmo's stand at a Fully Charged show and was impressed with the concept. Setting up a subscription to try an EV (MG5 Long Range) was fairly straightforward online. The Elmo Customer Service Team have been consistently helpful and responsive, particular mention of Andrew Perry in this regard. But the business overall is seriously let down by the unacceptably substandard performance of the delivery subcontractor company BCA. The car was delivered on the day promised and the driver did a basic show and tell, but he was quite offhand and submitted an incomplete condition report. However, the first time I drove the car any distance, it started flashing up serious fault messages and the breakdown service advised that it must be returned to depot and exchanged. This was agreed by the Customer Service Team, but the delivery company apparently couldn't do the exchange for near on ten days, so I was obliged to hire a car elsewhere for a few days to take a booked trip. Andrew and colleagues agreed to cover this expense. I had a second trip booked, but the delivery company failed to deliver twice on the days agreed. This obliged me to take out another short term hire. By the third day, the driver was on his way but didn't anticipate delays and road closures (used outdated satnav), thus arriving well after the agreed time and forcing me to ask a neighbour to receive the car. This time, no condition assessment was done and no report ever sent to me for confirmation. The car is being returned in my absence, since BCA were evidently unable to collect it between Christmas and New Year. I am very happy with the subscription concept and with the way that Andrew and the other Customer Service Team members have engaged with my issues, but the fact that the subscription service is forced to be in bed with this awful delivery partner (evidently part of the same corporate conglomeration) has me very hesitant to take out another subscription next time I am back in England. If Elmo could get rid of BCA for vehicle delivery operations I would give a five star rating and be much more inclined to use them again. It all started with the first driver delivering a dud car, which I am very sure was showing those fault warnings when he was driving it to my address - no wonder he couldn't wait to get out of there! Utterly unprofessional and spoilt the whole experience.
