The property management doesn’t really help much in my process of settling into my apartment. There were maintenance issues that have not been fixed since the day I’ve moved in. Also they often place responsibility on the tenant like myself to solve and pay for services like pest exterminators and said as if it was my responsibility and fault for bringing in the mice! Unbelievable!

Ellis and Co helped me sell my house quickly and for only a little less money than they had originally suggested I would make.

However, they sold themselves to me as having excellent after-sales care, which I wouldn't agree with. Communication dropped off as soon as the house sale was agreed, and I then only received emails and phone calls if I chased for them. I didn't feel that my questions and concerns were answered, and when I raised this, I was told that Ellis were doing a good job and to be quiet, basically. There was a miscommunication between the buyers and myself which slowed down the sale and which I think may have been caused by Ellis, although I don't know this for certain.

So a mixed bag, really. The house sold, which is of course the main thing, but I do feel that the service I was offered did not match the one I received.

Horrible communication, does not care about tenant queries, only focused on payments being made on time. Avoid like the plague - better off with Foxtons.

My experience with Ellis and co is awesome and the facilities and work are too fast. Mr. Ronit was there with us who made the work too easy for us and his way of work is great. I would love to go with Ellis and co and Mr. Ronit in future as well.

It was great experience, they provided 1st class service to us and I am deeply satisfied with them. Especially Mr. Ronit from Wembley branch, He did a lot for us. I really appreciated his hardwork. This journey with ellis and co and Mr. Ronit will be awesome🥂

John did an excellent job cleaning our carpets and chairs. As there are some high traffic areas, small dog, and hubby with heavy shoes, John met every stain challenge. He has an excellent attitude, work ethic, and strong communication skills. He does what he says and his prices are reasonable. Give him a try.

Paul from Ellis and Co Enfield office was excellent from the start of my flat sale to the very end. Very good communication throughout - always called/emailed me back. He had to do a lot of chasing of my buyer’s, not very impressive, solicitors and I believe his consistent determination really helped get us over the line! Highly recommend - thanks Paul.

Ellis & Co Bounds Green are an untrustworthy estate agent. I was buying a property through them and without knowing, they had put the property back on the market. They are very shady and give estate agents a bad reputation when many estate agents are just trying to do their job ethically and well. Ellis & Co Bounds Green are to be avoided.

Absolutely awful company. My car was written off 1 month ago by a vehicle insured by them. They have been slow at every step. My car was taken in for assessment 3 weeks ago, the same day the company assessing my vehicle said it was a write off. The insurance company took 2 weeks and multiple phone calls, where I was passed from person to person before they finally told me it was written off. They then told me they would put me through to the solicitors dealing with my claim. After 20 minutes on hold the solicitors hadn't heard anything. I called back Ellis they say they've sent everything over, they will call the solicitors and email me a reference. A week later and I've heard nothing again. I call back and Ellis tells me I'm through to the wrong department another 20 minutes on hold I'm through to the solicitors who've not heard of me at all. Once again I call Ellis back and get through to the same guy. He tells me he'll look into it. 30 minutes on hold later and I'm through to the solicitors, who has not even read my file as she's just received it. I'm then offered a grand less than my car is worth (according to my own insurance company) and told if I want what my car is worth I have to provide them with 3 examples to show what it is actually worth. Can't believe after all that they expect me to prove what my car is worth, why should I do their work for them! My own insurance company just gave me an estimate of my cars value just like that.

Neil from Ellis & Co was great through the 3 years I had a tenancy with him - quick to respond, easy-going and very relaxed, clear about expectations and helped us out with a couple of challenges. Thanks Neil!

I had the pleasure of viewing a flat in Stanmore, on Saturday, 25th January with Senior Sales Consultant Amar Patel. Amar was incredibly helpful and polite throughout the process. He had all the information readily available and was able to answer my questions with clarity and professionalism. His approachable demeanour made the viewing experience both smooth and enjoyable. I truly appreciated his thoroughness and attention to detail. Highly recommend Amar Patel for anyone looking for excellent service.

I had finalised a house with a friend near Harrow.
But unfortunately I got redundant from my job a week before key collection. I immediately informed their rep- Ray. And oh my bad a bully.
The way he responded yelling “ you shouldn’t have look for houses if you are sure of your job situation” . I lost my cool right there.
What an unprofessional way to speak to anyone let alone a client. As long the money is flowing it’s all fine the moment you need something from them as bare minimum as just decency they should their true colours.
Horrible experience and Ray was the worst thing that could have happened.
Glad whatever the reason didn’t had to deal with this agency.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Ellis & Co Sales and Letting Company, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, their incompetence and lack of professionalism were glaringly evident.

Firstly, their communication skills are abysmal. It's as if they've never heard of the concept of returning calls or responding to emails in a timely manner. I constantly felt like I was chasing after them just to get the most basic information.

Secondly, their staff seemed completely clueless about the properties they were supposed to be selling or renting out. Every question I asked was met with vague answers or outright ignorance. It's like they were making things up on the spot just to get me off the phone.

And let's not even get started on their so-called "customer service." It was non-existent. Any concerns or issues I raised were brushed aside or ignored altogether. It's clear that once they have your money, they couldn't care less about your satisfaction.

To top it all off, their fees are exorbitant for the level of service they provide. It's highway robbery, plain and simple.

In conclusion, steer clear of Ellis & Co Sales and Letting Company unless you enjoy frustration, incompetence, and throwing your money away. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable company that actually cares about its customers.

In 2017, Ellis & Co sold my house in Wembley. I then moved to Sussex, something I assume the agent involved was aware of. Ellis & Co have no offices in Sussex that show up in a google search.

On 16/9/22 I got an email from the Wembley Park office of Ellis & Co with the headline , "An update on our bank holiday closures."

I replied on the same day specifically asking, "Please delete me from your records." Yet today I have received a further email from Ellis & Co, this time aparently from the Wembley rather the Wembley Park office, inviting me "to view a selection of our latest properties."

There is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of the latest email but why do I have to ask a second time? And what sort business sends spam to a one-off customer who left the area being promoted many years ago.

Shoddy marketing.

Very poor service. Didn’t know key details upon moving in and didn’t not make us aware of hidden charges that we needed to subsequently pay. Staff are rude and incompetent. Does not act in the best interest of tenants. Be VERY careful upon check in/check out – The reports are geared to trap you into paying as much as possible from your deposit. Agents lied about professional clean and are now dragging the claim process out to bully us into paying the cleaning fees which are bogus. Quoted a figure for top up cleaning which was disputed, tried to then claim MORE of deposit through DPS service. Avoid at all costs.

We started looking for and moved into a beautiful rental property in June swiftly, thank you to Ellis & Co’s principle James’s professional instinct to secure us the dream home straight after our first viewing. Although the rest of the admin team was behaving robotically, you might need a proactive push to get everything done yourself. But we finally settled the tenancy smoothly. Ellis & Co certainly knowing how to find the high standard properties and the good landlords, a good resource and strong leadership.

2 years later still traumatised by my experience with Ellis & Co and never got my deposit back despite leaving my tenancy 2 months early and still having to pay because of the awful experience that they contributed to. Horrible experience with the Wembley branch.

We've used Ellis & Co for letting and finally selling our property for over 5 years - the Bethnal Green branch.
The care and attention we have received has always been exceptional. Some estate agents give others a bad name, but this is not the case here - you're dealing with helpful staff and a team who go the extra mile.
Big shout out to Kier at the Bethnal Green branch, who has always ensured our property was let to good tenants, any issues within the property (ie broken boilers, ovens etc) were always managed in a timely fashion - we never had to get involved, they managed everything for us.
We decided to sell the property and this was managed beautifully by the team at Ellis.
They simply could not do enough to help us, and i would highly recommend and Ellis & Co for letting and management of your property or sale.
