These are exactly as they are advertised. The only fault I have with them is that I have to learn to use them. I drive 1-1/2 hours each way every week to spend the day with my elderly mother and like to take a coffee with me when I leave home. My new EcoVessel worked so well that it stayed a little too hot for me to drink on the way there, but it was still warm enough 8-1/2 hours later for me to enjoy on the way home! Ha! Love the design and it should work great for my cold beverages, so I'm still happy.

Good/ high quality
I wish the two lids could be used together. I assumed the open lid that would allow my son to reach in and grab snacks could but used with the solid lid. I can pack both lids, easily but I assumed the solid lid would fit on top of the other lid allowing me to seal the food in for travel. For example, we are going somewhere and I want to pack a snack for later. I want to have the lid that allows him to reach in and grab but I don't need it until later. Right now, I want to seal the container to pack it.

Packaging the individual straw does not make sense
Overall, the water bottle is good and useful, and I appreciate and support the recycling work of Ecovessel.
Because I broke the top of the bottle, -- this is not a statement on the good quality; I carelessly dropped it while the bottle was full and the plastic handle broke -- I ordered that part instead of a whole new glass bottle. The top came with a new straw although I didn't need a new one. The straw was folded into an arc from which it does not want to unbend! This is problematic in a water bottle! The packaging did not make any sense to me.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We include a silicone straw with that top because our tops are interchangeable; therefore, if someone has the stainless steel "Boulder" top and wants to change off with the sport flip spout top, they can order that top without ordering straws separately. The straw should straighten out, though, but if it doesn't, please let me know.
We love them!
I've ordered from EcoVessel multiple times and love their insulated water bottles. I suggest them to others and will continue to buy them when the need arises.

Labor and factory conditions have changed in China and also in other countries. Workers are earning more and raising their standard of living in addition to many factories providing better and safer environments. Many reputable retailers in the US and overseas require strict product and factory audits before they will purchase products. Yes, it has caused the price of goods to go up but, in general, this has become a very good thing.
