I had to give them a 2 star, although they probably deserve 1.
I have 3 machines from Ecoscent, 2x Ariel(black and white) and 1x Puck. I've had the Ariel a long time and they have been in their boxes for ages because the settings do not work as they should per the timer. I tried to reset them as per instructions and they are still dispersing the scent randomly instead of following the factory setting and unfortunately as there is too much dispersed it is irritating our airways, plus the cost of the oils.
A few weeks back I decided to get a puck for a smaller room hoping I would have a better experience. Nope. Still the same issue, no matter the setting, the scent is being dispersed every 3 minutes. I consider myself to be an above average intelligence woman and can definitely read and follow some simple instructions, but for the sake of the argument I emailed them 2 weeks ago to ask for advice as it might be me or the actual machines that are faulty. No response. Chased again 2 days ago and surprise surprise, still no answer.
I am fairly disappointed with my experience & I do not know what the solution is, but having spent £250 on 3 machines that are completely useless to me does not put a smile on my face.

Scent not as advertised
I ordered a BBQ scent from them for a marketing campaign. The oil was advertised as "Transport yourself to a summer evening with the rich, smoky aroma of a sizzling Barbecue, with Woody notes reminiscent of charred oak and glowing embers"
It's bad, a perfume with a small hint of BBQ that wouldn't work for the purpose it was bought for...
Additionally, they charge almost $100 for international shipping

I just LOVE my ecoscent!! I discovered this company when I went to a hotel that just smelt divine, the reception staff told me who to contact. I messaged them and have had first class communications with ‘Lauren’ who helped me decide what unit to buy and even helped me trace the exact scent I was smelling in the hotel. My messages were responded to without delay and nothing was too much trouble. I get lots of comments on how lovely my house smells. I wouldn’t say this product is cheap, it isn’t, but when I look at how much over the years I’ve spent on candles, diffusers and such like I feel it’s worth the little bit extra
