We recently had solar PV installed at our home in Whalley, Lancashire and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the initial consultation through to installation, the team were professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure the system was tailored to our needs. The installation itself was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, with minimal disruption, and everything was left clean and tidy afterwards. It’s great to already see the savings and know we’re using renewable energy—highly recommend to anyone considering solar!

ASHP installs are a bit of a leap for most people, so it’s always good to hear when it’s landed well and you’re happy with how it’s performing. Once they’re in and set up right, they’re just steady and reliable, which is exactly what you want from your heating.
Big shout to the team on this one. There’s a fair bit of planning and fine tuning that goes into getting a heat pump working properly with a home, so feedback like this goes a long way.
For anyone else reading, air source heat pumps are becoming a solid option if you’re looking to move away from gas and future proof your home. They tend to work best alongside upgrades like insulation, better radiators or underfloor, and even solar if you want to push efficiency further.
Thanks again for the recommendation, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

The roofers were fantastic and their workmanship was outstanding. The office were helpful and very accommodating to my schedule with the kids.

We completely understand that initial hesitation, especially when something is offered through a funded scheme. It’s natural to question it. Our job is to make sure that from first contact through to completion, everything feels clear, professional and well delivered, so it’s great to hear that came across.
We’ll pass your comments straight on to the roofing team. Flat roof work is one of those trades where attention to detail really matters, from insulation build up and ventilation through to the final waterproof layer. Knowing you were happy with both the workmanship and the finish says everything about the standard they’re working to.
It’s also good to hear the electricians left a strong impression. Electrical work often happens alongside other upgrades like solar panel installation, battery storage systems and energy efficient heating controls, so having a team that’s tidy, respectful and technically sharp makes a big difference to the overall experience.
We’re especially pleased the office team could work around your schedule. We know how busy family life can be, so flexibility, clear communication and keeping things simple is something we put a lot of focus on behind the scenes.
For anyone else reading your review, the kind of work James is referring to typically forms part of wider home energy improvements. That includes flat roof insulation, loft insulation, external wall insulation, solar PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers, window and door upgrades, and full retrofit packages designed to make homes warmer and cheaper to run. A lot of this work is delivered through government backed schemes aimed at reducing energy bills and improving energy efficiency across the UK.
James, thanks again for the recommendation. Enjoy the warmer home, and hopefully the lower energy bills that come with it.
Solar panels have stopped working
Very unorganized. The guys that came seemed to be tripping over themselves, too many of them there at the same time and not enough space to do the jobs.
They got loads of plaster all over my nice painted floorboards because they didn't put enough protection down.
Some of my plugs never got wired back in after the insulation. The electrician was meant to come to do them but he never did.
Some of the floorboards are very loose and haven't been properly screwed down after they put in the pipes for the central heating.
I'm still waiting, three months later, for my MCS certificate for my solar panels to connect them to the grid. I've reminded them a couple of times but they still haven't sent them.
Edit: My solar panels have also stopped working. I've tried getting in touch with them a couple of times to come sort it out and they say they'll call me back but they never do.

We recognise there was some disruption as your project manager was on extended leave, and we apologise for the delay this caused.
We use floor protection as standard, but we’ll be feeding your comments back to the installation team. As your project involved multiple specialist trades, we appreciate coordination didn’t meet expectations on this occasion.
A technician visit has been arranged to address the solar issue and any outstanding works, including electrics and flooring. We’re committed to putting this right and appreciate your patience while we do so.

This company is utterly disgraceful.
Eco Giants installed a warm flat roof last year to a set of five flats and from the day the work was carried out there have been nothing but problems which are currently still ongoing after almost a year! The result of their work has caused ceilings to collapse, financial loss, homes and businesses flooded and damage and disruption to the lives and homes of elderly and vulnerable people whose health and safety have been put dangerously at risk. The latest ceiling to incur damage through the ingress of water belongs to a 90 year old man, which shockingly revealed mould growing underneath, which also poses a worrying health risk. He is currently trying to manage the endless amount of leaks in his home after this company returned to finally remove the damaged warm roof and failed to ensure that the existing roof was watertight, not ideal when a storm has been forecast!!! The second home belongs to a single parent who woke up to find water running down her walls, near the electrics. This is certainly not what you would expect from a government funded scheme aimed towards making homes more energy efficient, instead the people affected have had to watch while their homes are literally being destroyed around them and their health and safety put at risk. I only wish I could post pictures to show the amount of damage that this company have caused to make others aware and to warn them to think twice about placing their trust in this company.

Eco giants did work in my flat this week. Dom, Nicki and Dec have done an excellent job, their work is thorough and professional. The insulation and plastering is spot on and they were happy to put in the time and work to get the job done right.
A lot of care was taken when moving and covering furniture etc which is very much appreciated.
They also cleaned up at the end of each day - top marks and no complaints!

Dom, Nicki and Dec spent a week with me working on IWI measures (internal wall insulation) They are the most professional and hard working team i have ever experienced. I know what i am talking about as i have just renovated a house!
They were here at the crack of dawn (6/7am) and left at 5/6pm and they didn't stop to get the job done as soon as possible for me.
Really genuinely lovely people who take pride in their work.
They cleaned up after each day and kept me updated on what would be happening and when.
Such a professional set up.
Everything was covered, and moved etc.
