Solar install happy

Just had solar installed by the company, done a fantastic job. After my enquiry they sent a surveyor, provided me a quote, with no pressure to go ahead. Talked me through all the details of install, and savings I would make. Fantastic service from office staff and lads that came to for solar on my roof. Really reccomend. Thanks again

Previous review reply by this business to my review was inaccurate, and just lip service to the system
Seems like they are still failing even in 2026 to complete works, failing to offer professional services, and are now overdue for tax returns with all but one director resigned from this shambles.
Many have lost time and money even with ECO4 grants, and Trustmark today informed me they are no longer trading.
Anyone looking for redress needs to contact the guarantors of any scheme named within the documents they should legally provide as it now seems pointless trying to contact the business.

Had work done in November 2025
Told it would take 2 weeks nearly 2 months work still not finished then my house nearly set on fire then saying they completed the work and stuff and work was signed off funny no one came to the house I’ve downloaded all the evidence from all the cctv and sent to the court as proof all the photos of the men’s work and even what they broke
And when my house nearly set on fire it was because they have got unqualified people working for them customer service appalling sent 14 emails ignore sent a letter ignore see you guys in court

The works at my property began in late…

The works at my property began in late November 2025 and, as of March 2026, they remain incomplete. Throughout this time, I have repeatedly been informed that workers would be attending to finish the outstanding work, however no one has arrived and I am still waiting for the job to be completed.

During the course of the works, several original fixtures, including window sills, coving, and skirting boards, were removed and discarded without my consent. My carpet was also ripped apart. These have not been reinstated to an acceptable standard.

I was also left without heating for four days and ultimately had to resolve the boiler issue myself, despite this being the responsibility of those carrying out the work.

In addition, attempts to contact the company have been extremely difficult. I have called multiple numbers and have been unable to speak with anyone for several weeks.

Overall, my experience has been very disappointing, both in terms of the workmanship and the level of customer service provided which has led to my mental health becoming so much worse.

Incomplete job

Incomplete job, no response to emails and telephone calls requesting works to be completed. Will now have to pay someone else to rectify the mess left - refitting carpets, fixing broken electric sockets, connecting solar panels correctly. Very poor.

Do do not use these at your peril

Energy smart fitted 12 solar panels 5 kW inverter air source heat pump.
The original system was a 15,000 kW oil boiler the house is eight bed 5000 ft.² farmhouse and the system only works up to 0 C outside. Once it drops below that the heating doesn’t work it’s the system is not not big enough for the house.
The first workers drilled through the wall and electric cable and some of the sockets still don’t work upstairs the plastering crew left the house complete mess for over two months.
The house is still not finished they left the house unpainted plaster showing and some of the work two year year-old could’ve done better.
When I repeatedly asked him come out, fix these problems the answer was we spent too much on that house.
You leave a review on Trustpilot and they tell lies countering they left a hole in the wall where the old boiler was downstairs we are supposed to be filled in painted never was they left the 5 kg inverter fire hazard
When I fitted the solar panels, the tiles got them moved have caused a leak. They basically take no responsibility for actions and I will deter from using this company.
Also two years later we are still not fixed to the grid and I’m left for the position of £8000 electric bill because they haven’t done their job correctly. This was done on purpose because my complaining.
They will respond to this review with lies. They have not finished the job or are we connected to the grid? So the job started May 2024 and it’s now January 2026. I’ve had two years of the system being connected and it’s not connected to the grid, so it’s actually cost me money when it should’ve save me money,
Do not use these people at your peril soon as I get paid from the government they don’t give a toss about your well-being your electric bill

∙ An independent third-party audit found the installation met all required standards with no remedial work necessary
∙ During installation, our team discovered commercial-scale electrical equipment on your property drawing far more power than typical domestic use—this is the primary cause of your high electricity bills, not the renewable system.
Regarding the heat pump:
Air source heat pumps work efficiently below 0°C. The system was sized according to your property’s heat loss calculation completed during the survey phase. Your property is substantially larger than a standard domestic home, which impacts heating requirements.
Regarding finishing work:
Our records show multiple site visits to address finishing items. We acknowledge some work took longer than anticipated.

We stand by the quality of our installation, as confirmed by the independent audit.

Do not use this company. They only want the money from the government.

This company is one to avoid. They fitted our heat pump, solar panels and water tank. The installers cut corners and connected our mains cold water feed into our house through an old existing radiator pipe. If you put your finger in the pipe it is full of black residue. This is our potable water. We shower, bath, brush teeth, wash up and do our washing with this water. What they have installed is illegal. My whole downstairs of my house has now got to be ripped out as the plumbing work they carried out has caused all my pipes to pin hole as it is now a pressurised system. £190k insurance claim.
AVOID AT ALL COST THEY ARE ONLY OUT TO CLAIM OF THE GOVERNMENT.

WEAPONISED INCOMPETENCE

Hello energysmart

Still waiting for remedial works to my home. It had been 14 months yet your company is still refusing to put my home back to how it was before you started working.
You signed a agreement that you would do the remedial works back in July 2025 but unfortunately this hasn't happened.
So when are you carrying out these works. Even a company like yours should have been able to put things right after all this time. After promising to do the work if I took down my negative review of this company, which is a breach of contract in my view.

What a pleasure it has been!

What an absolute pleasure it was speaking with all parties involved from the surveyor, builders and their manager. Everyone was so lovely i couldnt recommend them enough. They were all so patient and genuine. They all helped me individually with anything i needed! The builders did a fantastic job all the work looks amazing im so over the moon with it! The builder even offered to help me bring my food shopping in and never made me feel uncomfortable. All parties involved spoke to me about each step in detail. The builders always let me know if the area was safe and unsafe around my 2 year old son. I cant praise them enough. They are all a group of lovely people they are definitely worth using! They should have contracts with more funded schemes to support vulnerable people because these are the kind people they need to support them! Thank you guys for everything i appreciate you all so much!

Brilliant service from the whole team

Brilliant service from the office through to all the tradespeople. The office get back to you with answers super quick and the guys doing the heat pump, solar and electrics were exemplary. Polite, quick, tidy and knew their stuff. Couldn't fault this company!
