Wow, amazing experience. Easy and useful. It allows much more functions than other services and most of them are free. I'd like a dedicated app too. This service deserves an app!

Dont waste your time
I strongly discourage anyone from using this program. It was fine for the first week or so, but yesterday ive had to wait up to 5 hours for my progress to save to the cloud (for some dumb reason) before i could export my project, this has happend 4 times now. I tried to close the program and open it again but that lost me up to a few hours of work multiple times. i do now know why it is like this, but save your time and use literally anything else

Scammy service
The Good:
It is a genuinely useful tool with great features for adding wave effects to videos.
The Issue:
Lack of a Free Download Option: Not being able to export a short video (1 minute or less) without hitting a paywall feels overly restrictive. Even with a watermark present, blocking the final download entirely is frustrating.
Inflexible Subscription Model: Forcing users into a recurring subscription just to export a simple video doesn't make sense—especially when the subscription includes bundled features that aren't needed.
Suggestion:
Consider offering a one-time purchase or a pay-per-export option alongside the subscription model. Giving users the choice to pay a small fee strictly for the video download would be a much better experience.

Saved Me From Re-Recording My Presentation
I accidentally recorded a Zoom presentation for my class with the video in mirrored mode, so everything was flipped the wrong way. This was exactly what I needed to fix it and get my video back to normal. It was quick, easy to use, and saved me from having to record the whole presentation again. Definitely recommend!

"Free no credit card" misleading
"Free, no credit card required". Editing for 15mins, then finding out you need to fill out credit card details and signing up for a paid account to be able to download the video anyway. Anything misleading like this will put me off forever.

Reply from EchoWave
Hi Floris,
Thanks for the honest feedback, and sorry, that's a frustrating way to end 15 minutes of editing. It's not the experience we want anyone to have.
To clarify how the free side works: many of our tools are 100% free with no watermark at all. The main editor is also free, you can export and download your video without entering any card details; free downloads just include a small EchoWave watermark. A paid plan is only needed if you'd like the watermark removed.
So something clearly made it look like a paid account and card were required just to download, and we'd really like to find out what. Was it a page on our site, or a screen inside the editor? If you can send a link or screenshot to hello@echowave.io, we'll take a hard look and fix anything that's unclear, and we'd be glad to help you get your video downloaded while we're at it.
Great experience
