Scandalous. Worst customer experience one can have.
Terrible experience with EasyLife. Absolutely do not recommend.
We got assigned two cleaning assistants from EasyLife. The first one, O., hardly did anything in our house. Even with just a few pieces of furniture present, they were not dusted, not cleaned. Until today, we are still not sure what she actually did in our house?
We were then assigned a second cleaning assistant, G. The first time G. came, he arrived more than an hour late and blamed EasyLife, while EasyLife blamed him. The second time, he took his time to eat his lunch at the same table where I was attending an online meeting.
After this second time, he contacted me via WhatsApp asking if he could start at 8 a.m. instead of noon. I told him this was not possible for us.
A few days later, on a Tuesday afternoon after 2 p.m. (!!), EasyLife called me. They asked if G. could come at 8 a.m. the next day instead of 12 p.m., as originally agreed. I informed them that I had already discussed this with G. and that I had already told him this was not possible for us. EasyLife then insisted strongly and rescheduled him for the following Monday at 8 a.m. After discussing this with my partner, we decided to immediately terminate our arrangement with EasyLife. I informed them that G. no longer needed to come clean at our house, as we were both dissatisfied with his work, with their services as a whole, and found the whole situation uncomfortable. (I called EasyLife with this information 15min after they had contacted me).
EasyLife then continued to insist (via email, not via phone) that their cleaning assistant should come one more time. We had to repeat three times that we did not want this. Despite this, we received a bill via Pluxee because EasyLife claimed we cancelled too late (even though they are the ones that reached out to us less than 24 hours before G. was originally scheduled to come clean at ours, with a request from their side to change this planning which we said 'no' to!!). After contesting their request for payment several times, we now received an email months later with an invoice for ‘damages’ which is double the original amount.
We honestly are disgusted by this whole situation. Very unfriendly and far from customer-oriented. EasyLife showed at no point interest in actually talking to us, or more importantly, in improving their service after they sent us twice in a row incapable and unprofessional cleaning assistants.
Our contact person at EasyLife responded always in a short, rude and pedantic manner via email.
Very disappointed with the entire customer experience at EasyLife and would absolutely not recommend them. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. On top of that, it is utterly frustrating that you (as a paying customer) have the option to dispute a service, but are ultimately powerless.
Fortunately, we now have a cleaning assistant we are very happy with (obviously none of their employees). The problem clearly lies with EasyLife, who apparently do not care at all about their customers.
