Been with them since 2010, always been a great price with good benefits and never had a problem but no renewal this year, i contacted them through online chat facility to be told that since september 2015 they are no longer taking on renewals or new business which seems a shame with all enquires being directed to the sister company McClartys whose renewal price is beyond what i am used to paying, going by some of these other reviews they won't be missed but in my case as above its been good but time for pastures new.....

Been with this company for almost 1 year now!! Had to make a change of policy for a new car.
Took 3 weeks, of online texts / chat, telephone call.. ( please note when you ask them to call you!! we can not call at a specific time.... they call you when they like.. so when you're in a meeting can't take the call.... THEY POST IN BOLD RED... policy holder unable to take the call...

When you change your car over, we need the old certificate back! OK no problem.... BUT Easy insure never gave me one. never posted one, never emailed and was unable to download one.

The cost of the car insurance may be OK but in my experience, after sales service is very poor, as the company will not take incoming phone calls which you learn about after lengthy calls offering various options, and I am unlikely to renew with Easyinsure.

the system accepted a change of policy then they phoned to confirm that they could not accept the change but would NOT REFUND MONEY PAID!

No insurance certificate provided, wouldn't cancel policy with out it. Nice wee scam going on there and is definitely not legal.
Wanted a refund before the policy was due to start, I was within my rights to ask for this under long distance selling rules which apply to everything bought online.

visited consumer advice to get a letter sorted out which resulted in a partial refund after waiting a month for the policy to be cancelled.
Basically let them away with stealing a month of insurance as I was too busy to follow up any further.

I took out a policy with this company as they were one of the cheaper participants in the market.
From the very start my blood pressure started to rise because I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my entire life.
First of all, there is no customer service number or email. You need to fill in an online form in order to communicate with them.
If you are able to navigate their clunky interface and send them a message, the response is usually several days late, unhelpful, incorrect or downright rude in tone.
I provided all of the correct documentation but I received several requests for me to resend the documentation.
In the end up I actually felt quite apprehensive because I was not sure if I was actually insured at all.
I would strongly warn against doing business with easyinsure.co.uk and their multiple other incarnations. Im guessing they have to change their trading name regularly because of all the bad reviews.

Using this pathetic company has been the worst experience I have ever had during the almost 30 years that I have been insuring cars. The single only reason that I am with them for a second year is because I found it impossible to cancel my renewal last year, the so-called customer helpline just rings and rings until it eventually returns you to the automated option system, this is also a premium charge number, I had no choice other than to give up after literally days of trying and let the policy automatically renew.
More recently I purchased a second vehicle which I insured with a real insurance company, I contacted easyinsure to get proof of no claims, they want £20 to release this information, needless to say I will not be paying them £20 I would rather start from scratch again than give this shower anymore money, I have since cancelled my direct debit to them. This crowd give online companies a really bad name.

I have phoned and had a conference call with yourselfs and my insurance company , , yet still I am getting letters and emails saying I have not .,
Yet every time I call , you can see on record I phoned on the 9 of October , yet am still getting these letters and emails , it's disgusting how you have treated me .

My Policy number is T17600034306.
My previous policy (T17600031171) with yourselves ran out 20/8/15 while I was on holiday, and on my return I re-entered my details on your website using my mobile phone. I chose the Business Class 1 option (as I currently use and need it for work). I continued through the screens until the final payment screen and completed payment. At no point could I view a summary of what I had chosen prior to payment. After payment, and later that day, I checked my emails and realised that Business Class 1 was NOT included in the cover. Again, I had checked "yes" on this option at the time.
I logged an iMessage on your website, spoke to an adviser, I was told the change could not be made as the policy was already in place other than pay the premium and the admin fee. I was also told that I must have chosen the incorrect option. I did not. It was an issue with your website.
After that, I spoke to one of your advisers over the telephone (still within 14 days of taking out the policy) and was told there was nothing I could do other than pay the premium and the admin fee. Again I was told that I must have chosen the incorrect option. This was not the case.
My renewal fee, had I continued the old policy was for £320.24. I paid £321.42 for the new policy, which didn't include Business Class 1. Today I just paid £46 to add business class 1 to this policy. I should not have had to pay this extra amount, unless the premium can jump by £46 in a week? (if so please confirm what the rates were at the time both quotes were calculated). My postcode did change but both houses are BT8 6** and are around 100 metres from each other. (again, if rates are vastly different, please provide me with the rates at the time).
Firstly, your website caused this error, not me. I definitely chose 'yes' to the business class 1 option (limited business use).
Secondly, if your mobile website had given me a summary of the policy prior to payment, I would have spotted this error and could have at least attempted to rectify the mistake.
I am furious that I have been treated this way.
Please look into this with a view of refunding my additional £46 fee. I believe I may have just been unlucky with the agents I was dealing with - I don't believe for a second that you would expect your customers to be treated in such a way, leaving them with anger and resentment for your company.

I had an awful experience with this insurance company, I needed a new car and was nearing the end of my policy with my new car with just a few weeks to go. My insured car leaked a lot and was playing up hence the decision was made to get a new car (1998 but new to me). I tried copious times to contact easy insure with no joy, nobody answered the phone or replied to emails! Finally some little boy phoned me back at 7pm at night to discuss my policy?? When I tried to transfer my insurance to the new car he said 'I'm sorry we cannot do it' when question why not, he said because they didn't insure any cars older than 2000. Mmmmm I thought, you have insured my own car for the past 2 years that is 1998? So is my insurance void? After having to cancel my insurance due to my car not being road worthy, I had apparently had to forego my NCB discount (I wasn't informed this until afterwards!) I then had to write to the jokers and formally request for the policy to be cancelled and then received my NCB cert for two yrs not three as a photocopy even though I needed the original document for my new insurance company. I would ever use this insurance company again as they have been horrific to deal with. I am also 8 months pregnant and just wanted to be able to drive a safe car but just got hassle and stress from these cowboys, stay away!!!

My experience also supports the views of others on here. The company kept asking for additional information which wasn't mentioned at the time of undertaking the policy - needed additional documentation every time i contacted them! Also a complete joke trying to contact them - on the phone waiting for ages - then told a different thing every time you speak to someone. Frustrating nightmare of an experience. Wouldn't want to have dealings with this company again if I could help it. A LOT of hassle and inconvenience.

I followed all instructions given to me when I first opened my account back in feb 15.
I was then told that I had further information to give. I rang your company several times without getting through initially. I did hold on for 59mins on hold before someone picked up I went through everything with your member of staff of the phone of what was needed to complete and unlock my online account. While on the phone I took photos of the required documentation you requested. I sent it while I was on the phone to an upstairs office from what I was told. I asked the person on the phone to check it while I was on the phone and he did and accepted that I had sent everything required.
I went to add an additional driver to my policy this week but was unable to due to my account still being locked to my annoyance. I rang on 18/8/15 and spoke with Brett (who was quite helpful) under the circumstances. I was on hold before he answered for at least 20mins.
When I got speaking with him he explained that the information I had sent was not the correct information as I had been told initially. I am very disappointed in the whole process of this.

Cancelled my policy after signing up only a week with this company and returned all documentation that was required to give back. I am now in a bad position to get my deposit back, will be seeking legal action against these cowboys.

I phoned to cancel, no answer was on phone for a long waiting time and was charged a fortune on my bill no one phoned back. So I sent my letter to cancel renewal as it was £200 over what I was paying first year never claimed or had any accidents nothing. So don't understand how anyone can do this, I will never go back as it's a big phone bill for phoning them and they never answer the phones. They should have a message that comes up saying where you are on the list of waiting.

This company is total rip off. Please don't waste you money with these people. They always create lame excuses to cancel your policy and keep the deposit money. It is impossible to reach them both via online chat or over the phone. They will just ditch you and hit you very hard when you need any service. Just ignore them and choose some other company.
If I could click zeros stars I would! Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with you on hold 50minutes then you get an adviser who doesn't know what there doing and a manager won't take the call!! Locked my account and wouldn't let me access it! For no reason might I add I needed to chance my insure as of today and they have told me I can't even tho my insurance is paid in full and it's a simple change of car!! Never ever will I deal with these idiots again even if they offered my renewal for free I would not take it!!!!
