(all queries to the same email account ehich is ignored)

Fast and great process to get car insurance and better options. They mentioned that an assistant helped me but that was a lie. Don't get a peppercorn insurance, they take your money and then when they ask to supply the NCB and you actually do that 3 times and still they reject it; they then cancel your insurance and take half of the money as an excuse of policy cancellation which was not done by you. The only way to communicate is via email, strangely enough so you have to wait for them to reply and I| do believe it to be a one man band.I will report them to the Ombudsman as I read through the reviews and they seem to make a habit of it.

This was the cheapest on the market and covered other areas of insurance like driving abroad. I was charged no extra and policy covered me for 30 days outside of the UK.

Ok so I have just seen a review on here for this company where the reviewer was saying Peppercorn cannot insure them any more. Peppercorn replied saying that the email would explain why this decision has been made. I also received the same email from them and it's to do with inflation and other challenges. I have been driving for 35 years and have NEVER made an insurance claim. I've obviously paid tens of thousands for it though, of course, goes without saying. So maybe if you drive an older car or maybe if you are an older person; maybe they are making their decisions based on other factors such as these. I'm updating my 11 year old car very soon but even with my current car, I have had many good quotes from other insurers that beat them hands down. So good riddance Peppercorn, it's no loss.

Had a good experience over the last year, then sent an email stating they would no longer insure me, no reason why just stated the underwriters could not cover me. A 42 year old with 10 years no claims, they also stated that costs will be higher elsewhere this year. However all my quotes this year are around £200 cheaper than I paid last time for Peppercorn. Odd way of doing things, I will just move on.

The worse insurance company i have ever insured with! You cqnnot ring them and when you message you get a computer, and when you finally speak to someone they where no help at all! Dint insure with these idiots unless you have the patience of a saint!

It's very VERY easy to make simple changes to your policy, get quotes for new cars or add drivers - adding a driver actually made my premium GO DOWN... which I was very happy about. Haven't had a claim yet so will be interested to see how it's handled, given some of the bad reviews regarding this area of the business - however, making simply changes or completing tasks which you'd normally have to call, or email or wait to do.. is very easy with Peppercorn. First class :)

Absolutely dreadful handling of our claim. On the day of the incident the car was removed to a storage facility. There were computer difficulties in verifying our policy and despite constant chasing by me 8 days have elapsed and nothing significant has occurred. We are stranded without a car. Avoid this company.
