Exceptional Service and Quality Bikes

EagleRider exceeded my expectations! Renting a motorcycle from Canada was easy, and the team made sure I had everything I needed for a safe and enjoyable ride. The tours were fun and provided stunning views. It’s clear they care about their customers and their experience. I can’t wait to book my next ride with them.

Amazing Motorcycle Tours

I booked a motorcycle tour with EagleRider from Canada, and it was an unforgettable experience. The bikes were in excellent condition, and the guided tour was both scenic and well-organized. The staff were friendly and professional, making the whole process seamless. I would highly recommend EagleRider to anyone looking for an adventure on the road!

The service and staff have been mostly OK.

The service and staff have been mostly OK - with the odd exception. I've joined as a member in 2011 or 2012 and rented a lot over the years. The locations that honour eagle rider membership credits has decreased. The number of credits used per rental day has increased, and random charges show up every time I rent that don't seem the same as the last time - I always have a sense of a "bait and switch" every time I rent - no transparency. The entire pricing model has become rediculously opaque and I believe that is intentional. One one occasion, I rented a dual sport motorcycle and when I arrived, they said "where is your trailer - this bike is intended for off road" - it is a dual sport motorcycle and should be plated and insured!!! Nowhere was it stated that it was for off road use only - and the staff member was terribly rude as if I was completely at fault. The Vancouver Canada operation has been awesome, great staff, Las Vegas not so much. With all the policy changes it's just not worth membership any more. The credits received for monthly membership fees used to last forever, then they started expiring at 24 months, now 18 months....it's just not what it once was. Read the fine print and beware of the final price out the door.

Bought a gift card on the Australian…

Bought a gift card on the Australian website not realising can only use in USA!!! Spoke with a lovely man in the Melbourne branch that has told me it is an ongoing issue and he himself has told the USA team many times. He has contacted them to ask to transfer the gift card to AUS as well as I have and still zero contact from USA in 4 days. This is a Christmas gift for my husband from his elderly father. Not impressed with lack of communication from USA and starting to worry that I have lost that money now, we have no plans to visit USA in the near future.

Absolute charlatans

Absolute charlatans - despite outward appearances this outfit has no presence in Malaga, Spain and merely sub contract prospective bookings to TravelBike.eu (who were very good).
Do yourselves a favour and book direct with TravelBike.eu and save €30 on a 2 day rental.

Size Doesn't Always Mean Service

While EagleRider has a huge selection of bikes, my experience was mixed. The Harley I rented had a minor mechanical issue that required a swap-out, which cost me half a day of my planned tour. The staff at the location were helpful in resolving it, but the process felt bureaucratic and slow. For a company of their stature, I expected a more streamlined contingency plan. You're paying a premium for the brand, but the customer service flexibility when things go wrong doesn't seem to match. Good, but could be much better.

The overall 2.4 star rating speaks for…

The overall 2.4 star rating speaks for itself. They only offer a instore credit as a refund. Paid $143 for one day rental on a plan trip that fell through, canceled less than 24 hours later and after all fees I was “credited” $32 back, $25 cancellation fee, $86 penalty for cancelling and then they tell you it goes as a store credit. Just close your business already.

Dwindling and questionable benefits

I have foolishly been an Eagle Rider member for almost 8 years. To be fair, I should have canceled long ago. The number of eagle rider locations that take credits continually decreases. The number of credits allowed to accumulate also decreased. The franchise and misc charges continually increase. Their change policies are not at all accommodating. The discounts that are still offered may only be worth it if put against several rentals a year

Great tour experience - but 2 gotchas you need to know

Just back from a great guided tour of the American West - guide and support were excellent, roads and planning excellent, hotels pretty good.. All good apart from 2 things ..

Firstly- i originally booked and confirmed a different tour - which was cancelled with 5 weeks to go - so make sure you organise changeable / cancellable flights or wait until final payment has been made and the trip is confirmed before finalising travel plans. ER did offer a discount for the replacement tour but obviously i had to pay extra to organise travel plans to suit (as well as do a different, though similar, tour)

Secondly - many of their tours are listed twice on the same dates - one in English, the other in a variety of other languages. Seems like ER then combine them and I ended up as the only English speaker with a party of 15 french speakers (guide and support were in English as well as French). While everyone was friendly etc the off bike social side of things obviously wasn't what i was expecting or hoping for. So if you're a lone rider expecting some decent company off the bike try and get ER to confirm the nature of the group you're being mixed in with.

Other than that the riding experience itself was excellent

A once in a lifetime experience

Just returned back to the UK after a truly memorable experience riding route 66 with eaglerider. A 2 week trip with 16 quality harley davidsons Road glides.
Quality tour guide. Quality hotels. And never a dull moment.
Good back up not short of ice cold water and good company and a welcoming beer at the end of each day's ride.
Can fully recommend this trip as a life time stress free experience.
Thank you eaglerider a trip I will remember for the rest of my life

Worst ride I ever had was on a 2024…

Worst ride I ever had was on a 2024 Ultra limited. Hurt so bad I had to ride with feet skiing the hiway. Don't expect anything extra like hiway pegs. These are bottom of the barrel bikes that have been beat on by 100's of people like me before you. Watch out about signing on to eagle rider club. Read the contract before you sign up. There are hidden fees. Membership is for a year so make sure your going to use the credits and not just throwing money away.

My second rental in 5 years - so poor

My second rental in 5 years, a BMW GSA from Vegas with 79,000 miles, the bike felt rough with a service light on, the seat was jammed in the low position, the clutch had all but gone and finding neutral was impossible (so I left it in first) an the right pannier wouldn't open/close - returning it to salt lake city the guy was so rude to all of us, he couldn't open the filler cap, I did and he actually asked how I did it - I gave him his key and said sorry buddy its your bike?

Disappointing EagleRider Experience

Disappointing EagleRider Experience – Would Not Recommend

We booked bikes for Sturgis but had to travel an hour out to Full Throttle Saloon — something never communicated clearly.

Despite confirming a Road Glide multiple times via email and phone, I was given a Street Glide on arrival. Staff admitted they don’t read emails or system notes, and only go by what’s on the screen.

After refusing the bike, we waited 2 hours for the right one but they did discount a waiting time credit. On top of that, we were charged for insurance we were told originally was included. We’re still waiting on a refund for an overcharge.

The customer service was extremely poor — rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. One staff member even joked he was “almost out of f***s” when we raised our concerns.

Then came the mechanical issues: the GPS didn’t work, the tyre pressure light kept flashing, and we had to ride the entire trip without working navigation, costing phone data and a lot of unnecessary stress.

We were also hit with extra $99 Sturgis taxes per day for 3 days we weren’t even there.

We have raised our issues and the same crap service and communication is upon us again!

The only person who has assisted and I want to give 5 stars to is Okalani Bradford in Las Vegas...

Arrived at the rental location to find it closed. Eagle rider customer service is horrible. They charged my card for the rental in advance, and don't appear to be interested in refunding my non-existent rental.

Unforgettable Guided Tour Experience

My wife and I did a guided tour along the Pacific Coast Highway, and it was the trip of a lifetime. The route was expertly planned, the lead guide was fantastic, and the support vehicle was a welcome sight. It was incredible to just focus on the ride and the scenery without worrying about logistics. EagleRider handles every detail with professionalism. Worth every penny for a truly worry-free vacation.

Poor Service

I was interested in a Wyoming tour but the website indicated there was no availability even though it is a year out. I sent an e-mail to Eagle Rider and got an immediate response and then silence despite my sending additional e-mails. Not a good feeling. Wish there was a competent competitor in the motorcycle rental market.

Dangerous bike, terrible service — avoid.

On July 2, 2025, I rented a Harley from EagleRider Grand Junction for three days ($1,120.85). Around 8 PM on I-70 East near Exit 114, the clutch completely failed — the lever had no resistance at all. I had to dangerously downshift from 6th to 2nd in heavy traffic, and the bike stalled at a red light, leaving me stuck on a busy highway ramp.

To make things worse, the battery was dead, so I couldn’t even restart it. A passerby and a police officer had to help push me to the side of the road. We eventually managed to jump-start the bike around 9:30 PM, and I barely made it to a hotel in Carbondale.

The next morning, I called support at 6 AM to request a tow. I confirmed multiple times that the key was left at the front desk. Because of this mechanical failure, I had to abandon my ride and rent a car from Aspen to Denver to finish the trip.

When I called customer support to ask for a refund, I was accused of “abandoning” the bike. That was a shocking and unprofessional response after what happened. A manager later promised a full refund, but to this day, I haven’t received a cent or even a follow-up email.

I trusted EagleRider to provide a safe, properly maintained motorcycle. Instead, I was put at serious risk and left to figure things out alone. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish.

I wouldn’t recommend EagleRider Grand Junction, CO to anyone.

My EagleRider Las Vegas Harley Davidson…

My EagleRider Las Vegas Harley Davidson Rental Experience

We planned a dream-trip - riding part of Route 66 on a Harley Davidson. We reserved our motorcycle online 3 months ahead, with Eagle Rider Las Vegas (HD Heritage Soft-tail Classic).

But then when we arrived to pickup the bike, we were told that model was not available, and we were given a replacement (HD Street Glide). The Street Glide is a nice bike, though It is about 100+ lbs heavier and not our preferred style of ride.

We also had an issue at pickup as the website states there are 3/4 helmets included with the rental, but at the store there were only 1/2 and full helmets available. Fortunately, the staff pulled a new 3/4 helmet from stock for us to use (though it wasn't the correct size helmet).

On day 4 of our ride, just outside Flagstaff, AZ the check engine light came on, and the motor started running rough (misfiring, etc). We decided to go to the Eagle Rider location nearby in Flagstaff. We were told we had to leave the bike there for the afternoon for them to diagnose/repair the bike…which meant that we were not able to drive the bike up into the Grand Canyon National Park - one of our dream destinations! When we picked up the “repaired” bike, we were told everything is good to go. Then we continued toward our final destination - Santa Monica Pier (end of Rte 66).

The next day, while driving between Barstow and Santa Monica, the check engine light came on again, with the motor misfiring, surging, backfiring…the bike would struggle to attain speeds over 60 mph.
We tried to stay off the highways as much as possible, and eventually hobbled in to Santa Monica. We called Eagle Rider Las Vegas, and agreed that the best option would be to bring the bike to Eagle Rider Las Angeles and leave it there, as there was no way that bike would make it back to Las Vegas.

So our “dream” Route 66 ride terminated there.

Overall, we still had a good experience - despite the inconveniences and stress of having multiple issues with the bike. I would like to add that the staff at both Eagle Rider Flagstaff and Los Angeles
didn’t seem to care very much about our issues (not prioritizing getting us back on the road. not being apologetic nor empathetic about our situation, etc). However, the staff at Eagle Rider Las Vegas
were understanding and at least they did apologize for the issues we encountered.

Do not sign onto the monthly program!!!

I found the service and locations that I dealt with very good. But, at all costs, avoid signing onto their monthly payment program. I signed on and after a couple of good rides found that they did not have dealers at the locations that I was at. There is a time restriction to use your points and I lost hundreds of dollars when they eliminated my purchases because I did not use them within their timeframe. Unless you are planning to travel within the US it is a waste of money. Talking to them about it is useless.
