Perfect for leather boots

Fabulous product that doesn’t break the bank.

Purchased my first pot several years ago, and have used it on everything! Initially it was bought for my horses tack and my riding boots. Soon it was the leather sofa, my doc martens… anything leather gets a bit of the duckswax. Keeps my leather supple and waterproof, and gives a nice sheen that’s not glaring. Has kept my horse riding equipment pristine for years, and I have ended up buying pots in each colour. Fab product!

very good product

I run a small leatherwork business as well as making leather gifts/fixing stuff for friends and neighbours. I've been using both the clear Duckswax and the black for a number of years. It works well with most leathers and adds significant water resistance. The black is very good for restoration/repair projects.

dont hesitate!

I bought my first pot at a motorcycle show years ago, always a bit sceptical of show purchaxses, but I need not have worried, and have been very pleased with it, waterproofing boots and leather jeans to a very high degree (dry feet in a thunderstorm for the first time in 40 years!) it leaves my leathers looking clean, smart and shiny and has made them last much longer than any others, I was hopefull of buying more and used the info on the pot, I was a bit surprised to find it was still available (sorry about that, but very often this is the case) and went ahead for another big pot, which came with a free small pot! I gave this to a friend to use, hopefully he will be converted, I dont need any other other motorcycling leather product, it is simply superb.

Protecting my duck cotton bicycle saddle bag…

I have a duck cotton canvas bicycle saddle bag that I am keeping waterproof through regular applications of duckswax. It works a treat and continues to prevent the duck cotton fabric from becoming wet, while keeping the leather buckle straps supple and flexible. So far, duckswax has shown no sign of allowing water to penetrate the canvas fabric. Bonus is that it also smells lovely!

Easy to use and very effective.

I have used both the clear and black wax on a variety of leather clothing and boots over several months and it is really excellent stuff. I have also used the cleaner on a pair of black leather motorcycle jeans that had been stored for several years and it worked a treat.

Using the black wax on both my motorcycle and horse riding boots. I have found that after thoroughly cleaning the boots, a single application of DucksWax will keep the boots cleaner and water proof for sometime.... obviously it depends on how often you wear them and for how long.

My horse riding boots are used daily and kept water out for weeks, I only reapplied the wax once the toes started to look a little grey. They were soon looking clean and shiny after a clean, reapplication and polish.

In short. I have found DucksWax to be easy to use and live up to all the claims made by the manufacturer.

Excellent

I've used Renapur and a decent range of the Saphir product line for many years, for reference.

Duckswax is a good product. I was looking for something that added some water resistance to my winter boots (or rather my normal boots which I've decided to allocate to winter duty).

I wasn't expecting to be applying this to any dress shoes/boots as it seemed a bit of an "industrial grade" product.

However, as I've had fantastic results and gained confidence with the properties of the product (and found it's not so permanent you can never nourish the leather again), I've applied it to a number of high end leather boots with good results.

Only downside is you can't get any kind of polish on this wax as it's very soft, so the best you can do is a sort of mid-lustre finish. I don't mind this on footwear that I'm planning to wear through winter at all, but it does have this minor limitation... But I'm pushing the limits of what this product is sold as in even considering this anyway.

Not sure if it would be effective with additional standard wax polish applied over the top to try and build a gloss finish, or how it would all mix, so I haven't tried this I must admit.

Overall though, this is an absolute essential product if you wear leather footwear year round - I would not be without it. I've also used it on fabric laces.

Really good product - cheap for how much you get and unique in many ways.

Duckswax is a great product

Duckswax is a great product. I came across it when I bought some leather shoes and a small pot was included with the shoes. I've used the black to revive handbags that almost went to the charity shop. They now look great. I've also used it on all of my leather boots.

I highly recommend this product and my interactions with the company have always been friendly, helpful and prompt. Great service and great product.

Duckswax is fantastic, it's the best leather treatment product you can buy. I've been using Duckswax for years. Great for treating wax cotton jackets as well, brings them back to looking and feeling like new. Leathers are revitalised, keeps them supple and water just runs off them. Would 100% recommend Duckswax to anyone. Absolutely a top product and easy to use too.

Top stuff...

This Duckswax is a really great product, I've used it for years. On first use back in the day on my scuffed and faded motorcycle leathers and boots, it brought them up like new. Great waterproofing effect too, water just beads and runs off. I now use it regularly, and it keeps my leathers in tip-top condition. I would 100 per cent recommend it to anyone. It comes in translucent for any colour, and black for er...black. And Martin who sells it (makes it?) is super-helpful too if you have any queries.

Repeat customer!

Great product. I think this is my 3rd or 4th purchase over the last few years. I've added the black & the leather cleaner to my order this time, hopefully they'll be just as good!
