A good selection of drums and hardware
A good selection of drums and hardware. I was searching the Internet for a paiste 900 series 20" medium crash, this is the only place I could find that had one in stock. I placed my order and i received it in a couple of days. Well done Drum one.

A great shopping experience
Went to Drum One to shop for some replacement cymbals and the guys there couldn't have been more accomodating and helpful.
I spent a good 45 minutes A/B ing different crashes and trying out various cymbals (I ended purchasing extra stuff I hadn't even intended to...). When I took my 2 new crashes back to the rehearsal room to try them out out in the context of my kit, I found that one just didn't sit right with my overall sound, despite it being a beautiful cymbal. Drum One couldn't have been more helpful in sorting me out and helping me get the right crash to replace it.
After being burned by TWO major retailers over the course of two months when trying to purchase these crashes online, this was a pleasurable hassle free shopping experience that brought home the importance of being able to go to a shop and play, inspect, and then walk away with cymbals - instead of receiving poorly packaged & damaged goods or being told that your order will actually enter the UK a full 6 weeks after the date you were given prior to purchase.

The most genuine, lovely, selfless staff
I really can't put into words how wonderful the staff are here. I want to give a particular shout out to Phil (the store manager).
Over Christmas 2025, I was without a kick drum pedal. My stepdad had purchased me one but was admitted to hospital. In a desperate attempt to find one, I called Drum One and explained my situation. Phil had no reason to trust me (as he didn't know me) but he offered to lend me a pedal until I got my new one.
This meant that I could play my drums through a very difficult time. My stepdad managed to give me my Christmas present... before passing away a day later.
I returned the pedal shortly after and I explained the situation. Naturally, I cried and Phil was a huge source of comfort. It is very clear to me that this is not just a business, but more like a community or a family. I was incredibly overwhelmed by Phil's kindness and I will never forget his kindness towards me.
Thank you Phil and all the staff at Drum One. You truly are a credit to the music community and I will absolutely be returning for any drumming needs I have. You all absolutely rock x

The interaction with the store's team…
The interaction with the store's team was excellent and efficient. I purchased a custom Legacy of the Royals snare drum along with a few other products, but there was a problem with being charged double VAT. The store swiftly fixed the situation (thanks to Craig). The products are top-notch and were packed with great care and security. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and quick to answer any inquiries, offering superb customer service. This store is outstanding, and I highly recommend it!

I’d been trying to get my son a BDC snare drum for Christmas. But the model he wanted was out of stock everywhere. I’d repeatedly called a number of competing retailers to get an ETA on new stock, but they just weren’t interested - one promised to call back three times and they still haven’t. Then I called Drum One - obviously too late for Christmas, but they said they’d do their best to get one from BDC as soon as they could. Guess what? The drum arrived by FedEx in time for Christmas Day. Open and honest about availability, good price, good comms, great delivery. Perfect service. Thanks guys.
