i can't drive my purchased vehicle

I purchased a vehicle through them. The dmv registration still isn't completed and the temporary registration expired. They can't provide me another temporary registration. So now I'm in a situation where I can't drive my new car and am dependent on friends and family take me around. Shop somewhere else.

After my payment went through it took 3…

After my payment went through it took 3 weeks till I got the car delivered. When it got here there were no tags or registration. So I still can't legally drive it. I paid cash, no trade. I sure expected better service. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!

Dealing with Shannon added tremendously to my experience because of the personal touch.
The only thing I would recommend is preparing people for how long it takes to get paid.
Because of hard copy documents transferred overnight. It takes extra days.

Driveway does not honor their contracts

I have a contract with driveway that they refuse to honor. they do not honor any deals even in writing. at this point I'm reaching out to lawyers. drive way isn't worth the hassle. I signed my agreement with tire coverage. when I reached out to the warranty company they had no record of my car. this was 7 months into my agreement. I reached out to drive time the employee that handled my signing admited to not submitting the coverage yet I'm paying 40$ extra a month for this warranty. I asked for them to remove the warranty since im paying and dont have it. they said it takes 6-9 weeks and I would be credited this towards my payment. its now been 12 weeks and I can't get anyone on the phone. nothing has changed. when someone does answer its "I'll call you back" I have written agreements of cancelation of the warranty and written proof of them charging me even after admitting to not submitting the warranty. (conversation recorded) I have already had my first meeting with a lawyer. drive way is not worth this

The process has been super easy. I spoke to Jaz and she was so patient and helpful when my payment wouldn't go through for whatever reason. She was kind and stayed with me, and pushed through the process. Very helpful.

Nothing but positive experiences

I wanted to share my positive experience because I almost went with a lower offer and didn’t use Driveway due to the number of 1 star reviews on this site. However Carmax doesn’t pick up where I live and Carvana was offering $3200 lower than Driveway so I just decided to try it and I’m so glad I did! The whole process was quick and flawless. Customer service was so attentive and helpful, and frequently checked in via texts to keep me updated. I received the paperwork within two days of submitting the virtual inspection photos and had two days to mail it back. I sent it back on a Friday, so it did take a few days for the third party transport company to get ahold of me, but they called by the following Wednesday and picked the car up at my house on Thursday. I had the money in my bank account within 24 hours of pickup. Absolutely no complaints and have already recommended Driveway to my friends and coworkers!
