I had a good service at the reception.Everything was clear from the start of the agreement as well as at pick up. The size of car was well suited to our needs and travelled the distance without hitches. The Drive office was conveniently located not far from our hotel so returning the car was easy and convenient.

Easy to pick up and drop off at Hobart airport. Best deal I could find for a 3 week hire. The smallest of the MG's was nippy and easy to drive with good all round visibility. Definitely use these guys again provided they stay priced under the big boys.

The pick up was only about 100 metres from our Hotel in Hobart. Information about booking the car, the pre-checking system before pick up made life so easy. The gentleman at the desk was very clear and precise with his instructions and provided a map for our Airport drop off for 12 days later. The detailer answered all the questions about the Skoda we hired.
Every staff member I made contact with either by phone or in person were friendly and professional. I would definitely use this company again.

On our recent road trip around Tasmania, the Kona from Drive car hire was exactly what we needed. It was clean, fueled up & ready to drive. The quick start guide helped us oldies unfamiliar with that car. When we had a slight issue with the technology on the Hobart public holiday, they were able to give us advice. Three and a bit weeks, 2616kms; vehicle never missed a beat. Great size for two adults. One case on the back seat but easy for this old fart to get into and out. Value I would suggest. Drop off and pick up smooth and timely.

I gave this rating because the car was easy to pick up at the airport and easy to drop off, we had no problems with the car, the car was economical, easy to drive ,very clean when we picked it up.
The only thing as I spoke to Drive car rentals, renters should be advised that there is an emergency button
which dials ooo inside the car for your assistance in an emergency

Car where it was meant to be, in clean perfect condition, no problems with the 2100 KMs we traveled around Tasmania. Returned to parking spot at airport, quick email confirming same all good..

Drive Car Hire was an excellent experience. We hired a car for 2 weeks, and for the usual circuit of Tassie. The car was great. In good condition. Clean. Well suited to our needs. The actual hiring process was also seamless. All done electronically, from scanning drivers licenses to deposit payment (all before we got there. from Perth). Pick up was an automated process, as was drop off at the airport. We rate this car hire company highly. Thank you.

I would definitely recommend this company they was able to offer me a car in there last minute of closing time due to my own car breaking down, it was hassle free from the time of picking it up to dropping it off. they were very friendly and helpful.

I went with Drive after reading these reviews. The online check-in was seamless, great communication. I spoke with Kelly and Joseph about changing our drop off from airport to city and they suggested they could collect car from our Hobart hotel which made things so easy for us. Both were very friendly and courteous. Would highly recommend.
