Your dress will come to your horror as—not the dress they advertised. I foolishly did this because I read one positive review. It looked nothing like the dress, was about 5 sizes too big, despite giving them exact measurements, used 2 visibly different fabrics and the sewing level was amateur. i was trying to return this dress back so i call the dressale on this help and i got my penny back from them

Purchased a stroller and car seat set. Ordered 2/2020... On 3/15/2020 received a knock pair or Ray-Ban sunglasses

Placed an order 2/11/2020 and never heard anything from them. They charged my credit card and I got no response after sending several emails and called the phone number on their website. There is no voicemail setup on the number and just rings. This is a scam site.

I unlike the other reviews had a great experience with dressale.com. Back in 2011 I needed a wedding gown on a very small budget and I'm plus size. That combination is impossible to to find especially when I needed a 1 month turn around. The dress I picked was a Bonny Bridal knock off. They duplicated it perfectly. When it arrived it needed a couple minor alterations which I expected from any gown. It needed to be hemmed, taken in an inch at the bust and I added a bustle. I emailed asking if they could make it a rush order which they responded that it was not an issue and didn't charge extra. I ordered the dress the end of October and it arrived the 3rd week of November They even phoned me to let me know when it was shipped by fedex. Wrapped and sealed beautifully. I'm so sorry to hear that their service has gone down hill since I got married because they really saved me being a broke bride lol.

BEWARE!! Do not buy this dress or any dress from this website. These people are thieves. The dress quality is horrible, fabric is so thin and bad quality taffeta, horrible stitching and lots of thread coming off. The dress does not look like the picture, not even the 90% similarity the customer service person said it would be. I contacted the company and this Waley dude told me this:

It's been one and a half months since I've been fighting with this people asking for my money back because I had to buy another dress. I was not going to wear this garbage on my Wedding day. Hundreds of emails later and they refuse to give me my money back. They want me to pay for shipping to send it back and I will not do that, since it was not my fault their dress is horrible. It will cost me almost as much to send it back. I don't want the dress and I will happily return it if they pay for the shipping back. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY... THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!!

I also had a bad experience. Ordered a dress on their site. Had custom made to myself. Used very cheap sequences for a $281 dress! the dress was not to the floor as should of been as per picture and they had my height. Seams were unstitched, wanted pics of proof, their measurements were different to what I ordered, but still they insisted their measurements were correct. I couldn't even zip the dress up! Apparently they leave some material inside for adjusting. Well, I don't think they allowed for the fabric inside to your measurements! Then they offered vouchers! I said no full refund! Then they came back with they will pay for a tailor here locally in Perth to the sum they made up of $92 to get my zip fixed? what the? it was also the length being too short, seam unstitched, wrong measurements, etc. The end verdict they offered 40% refund, or 50% if I return the dress. I was also told I can't return the dress as it was custom made to me.? These emails, and several different staff members responding kept going back and forth for over a week. Meanwhile, Paypal are reviewing this. No refund at all yet! Even after agreeing to 50% to stop this nightmare, not because I agreed with them, they still havn't refunded me! I now have invoiced them for 40%!

Seriously wish I read these reviews before I ordered! Getting married on a budget. Know my size as I've tried several other dresses on. Ordered standard size 16, not custom. Does not fit. Having customer service email war with them now about how to return for refund. That does not seem to be an option?!! Want "pics of the problem" say "sorry you're not satisfied" blah blah blah! I just want to return & get refund. If anyone knows what I can do. Please let me know!

I ordered a dress with customer measurements and color. Prior to placing the order I wanted to confirm the material of the dress I was purchasing. The online chat representative confirmed it was satin however, when I received the dress it was chiffon. There was an option for gold or silver beading. I choose gold and instead of beading received an awful sequins. Also, the only thing tailored to my measurements was the length. I reached out to them with proof of my order and the confirmation from the rep prior to my order as well as an email confirming what I ordered. They insist on me keeping the dress because, I quote " We have no use for it." Initially I asked them to send what I ordered and they continue offering me discounts in 5% increments insisting I keep the dress. At this point the occasion has passed and I will like my full refund and the return address to send the dress back (which they will not provide after asking multiple times.)

Do NOT use this company. Dress was very different from the picture they stole from another vendor's company. Their Customer Service is even worse than the dress. There is NO RETURN POLICY despite what their site indicates. I went through PayPal and was able to get my money back.

Once PayPal returned my money they THEN wanted the dress back. They couldn't use the dress as "handmade custom for you special from fine material" (since when is hot glue a fine material??) and returning the dress would be "waste of dress maker and time money."

They now wanted the dress since they weren't being paid and they threatened to have "black credit record done to you" which would "do bad to your life" because the didn't want to "harass you as well!"

They also keep changing their site name and change bad reviews on their site to 5 star.

i ordered a dress for my birthday party, it arrived after the party and wasn't what I was expecting and I didn't like the way it fit me. I asked to return and they said no return if the size was correct. What online company doesn't allow for returns, you have to be able to try stuff and and return it if you don't like it. I will never order from them again.

Do not be foolish like I was and order from this company. They are from China the sizes do not coordinate with what we are use to and they do not compromise or make things right if you are unhappy. Both my VISA company and Paypal were well aware of the issues with this company and thankfully I had no problem getting a full refund. Perhaps someone somewhere is now going to wear my hideous dress as a costume for Halloween (I donated to our local thrift store) but only if they have tiny arms as the dress won't go on a standard size 8 as the armpits wouldn't go around an olive.

Ordered a dress for my daughters wedding, not only did it turn up after the wedding, it did not fit, there were 3 stains on the dress, it was the wrong colour, the length of the dress was uneven, the stitching on the sides is unprofessional and finally the neck line was different on one side to the other.
I complained via email and over the course of approx 2 weeks in which they accepted our complaints as we sent photos of all the faults with the dress, but their explanation was that it was hand made, the stains would disappear when exposed to the sun and air & we should have it fixed locally. Finally they offered a refund of 20% which I accepted and I have kept the dress for the next bad taste party I'm invited to.

I order a dress from this company just to receive it, the dress look nothing like the picture it was cheap material was itchy and I order a white dress and it came with red stitching. I email them and they told me to take it to the alteration to have it removed and they will give me 10% off my next order LOL like I would order again!!! We went back and forth with the email they finally told me "NO DRESS IS JUST LIKE THE PICTURE AND MY STANDARDS WERE TO HIGH"....Thank goddess I paid with paypal I filed a dispute. They company lied and said I special order the dress so no return, I showed paypal were I order a shock dress and my money was refunded!! I wrote two poor reviews on there website but they removed them and put 5 stars. So they remove all negative reviews this company is horrible do not order from them ever. They should not be in business

I order a dress from this company and when the dress arrived it looked nothing like the photo they have online. The sleeves were uneven and the material and work are very poor. I asked for a return and they asked for prove of the problem with the dress i sent them millions of photos for them to just say sorry but we cant accept your return. I have been going back and forth with them and they keep giving me the same excuses to why the dress doesnt look the same and to why they cant accept a return. I have started a claim with my bank i hope they can get me my money back. This company is a rip off and all they want is your money and you have to keep the hidious thing they call a dress. please dont buy from them because its going to turn into a headache. I wish i would of done my research before i order. never again will i order online. and to top it off i had to go buy a new dress for my event

No way to get a hold of someone when your order doesn't show up when promised

I read many of the one-star reviews by other reviewers. I'm going through the same upsetting situation right now. My dress didn't look right, didn't fit right, and looked different from the picture/description on the website. The dress even arrived two days later than the day their customer service informed me (and that's when I found out this was made-to-order from overseas, and that's why it's taking them a month to ship!) so I didn't have enough time to get it altered before my friend's wedding even though I ordered the dress over a month before the wedding. The customer service and I are going back and forth with emails for about a week now. It seems like they get a lot of complaints and they probably have a set procedure dealing with people like us, because all the emails other reviewers posted on their reviews are the same as the emails I'm getting. Some are exactly the same, word for word. I took pictures of my defective dress like they asked me to (it took me a few attempt for them to receive like one of the reviewers said), they told me to get it altered locally (how rude of them to suggest that instead of them taking care of the issue), they offered me 15% off next purchase (no, there isn't a next order!), they made it sound like the dress isn't that bad, I'm being picky, and it's hand made so it's not gonna be exactly the same as picture shown, otherwise it will be a much more expensive dress. Then they finally offered me 10% credit to my purchase which is like $13. Every email from them sounded rude - the suggestions they make, the metaphor they use, and very pushy and absurd, sounds like... a SCAM. I finally called my credit card company's return protection department and filed a claim. I'm waiting for them to review the claim at this point, but I'm hoping it will go smoothly. If Dressale asks me to send back the dress, I will do that by a trackable carrier or I will send it to the credit card company. But I'm wondering contacting PayPal might have been a better way to go since one of the reviewers seemed to get the situation solved more smoothly. I'm going to spread the word by posting my reviews on BBB hoping this business will be shut down or at least stop scamming people!

Do not use this website! The dress I received looked NOTHING like the picture. It was put together so sloppily, had pins sticking out, tears, and thread that was loose or tangled into incorrect spots. After at least 14 emails they are still refusing to give me a full refund. They have used nonsensical reasoning, obscure metaphors, and false statements. I have never been so disrespected by a company before. Don't be scammed like I was.

BOTTOM LINE DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS I bought a dress for my son's wedding It was 4 sizes too big tried and tried to return it but these people are very uncooperative and they just screwed me over the dress was HORRIBLE nothing like the one they advertised I took it to a tailor to see if it could be altered and the tailor said it was a bad dress, she would have to unsew it and start over it would cost $200 to fix it.

When I wore it to my party. It was very uncomfortable because the shoulders kept falling off shoulder, the hips where they took it in had thick seams under the liner because they did not cut out what they took in... I was seriously embarrassed when I happen to look down and on my left breast it looked torn . Upon further inspection I notice that it was the fold on my breast.... it was not sown under that pleat and only had 3 tact's holding the pleat over it down. One tact on each breast and one in the middle... the raw seam kept poking out since it wasn't sown under the overlapping pleat... I would think paying over $208 for a dress I would get better quality... It was very embarrassing. I spent the rest of night hiding under my shawl since it looked like my dress was ripped on my breast and the shoulders kept falling down, not to mention the V for the neckline was puckered and not a clean seam. I contacted Customer Service for them and they wanted me to take all of these pictures I have shown below. It took several attempts to send them

S Support to me 3 hours later--- Dear customer, Really sorry that you are not satisfied with the dress we made. We made the dress by hand instead of machine, which sometimes may result in the imperfect stitching. But this won't affect the whole dress. Would you mind fixing the dress locally? This is the best way for both of us. We are willing to give you a big discount for your next order, thank you Regards, Jewel

A BIG DISCOUNT for my next purchase? There will not be another purchase from them... how is that going to pay for the defects in this "custom" made dress. Really!?! WOW!! My advice to anyone thinking of ordering from these people..... DON'T!!! RUN!!! It's a waste of money!

Whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY DRESS FROM ASIA and especially from Dressale.com! Even if you read a positive review, do NOT purchase. Your dress will come to your horror as—not the dress they advertised. I foolishly did this because I read one positive review. It looked nothing like the dress, was about 5 sizes too big, despite giving them exact measurements, used 2 visibly different fabrics and the sewing level was amateur. They would not return my dress, even though I went through their "return process." I finally was refunded through Paypal, as I made a complaint that they were fraudulent (selling goods not as advertised) via Paypal and won! They also kept calling my cell phone from a skype number after I made the complaint through Paypal. They are scammers! Do NOT BUY from dressale.com!!! I ended up buying an affordable David's Bridal dress at the last minute, which was less expensive and lovely. Don't put yourself through this, as planning a wedding is stressful enough. Learn from my mistake!
