Studio 131 displayed one of the most unprofessional performances I have ever witnessed. They provided a contract for ceremony flowers however added a piece to the contract they did not provide as well as omitted ceremonial arches they were to provide and failed to do as much. I just want to caution others. I did attempt to reach out as upon returning to the Church there were no ceremonial arches as well as pointed out the wooden arch was included because that must be an honest mistake, right? A hundred people there knew there was not an arch upon entry as well as our wooden arch was provided by Autumn Rentals in Port Richey, Florida as we made a special mention of thanks in our program. However, the company refused to take accountability.

Don't sign up as a vendor

Don't sign up as a vendor. Awful, scam. It's a 12-month contract and if you have issues they will refuse to let you out. No customer service.

WeddingWire allows dangerous businesses

WeddingWire deletes any negative reviews they receive. Sonal will email you against policy and tell you she deleted your review without even requesting proof first and then scrambles to do her job properly when you file a BBB complaint. Deleting reviews about dangerous businesses that are unsafe to be around people is irresponsible and scary.

NO access to page

I had the free page since 2015, waiting for some weddings to come from here and see if it might be worth paying for. Then my husband, who is a wedding photographer, paid for several years. Since he NEVER got any valid leads from this platform I decided it wasn't worth the money. HOWEVER I did send all my clients to my page to leave me their 5 star reviews, had badges for several years in a row. Until they decided that the free pages would be non accessible anymore. So now I have 10 years of 5 star client reviews I can't reach, I can't show them to new clients and those are lost. I reached out to their client service via email, but it's either pay up or lose access. Even with a direct link I still can't access, even simply view the page. According to EU law this is even illegal. So my tip to you: DON'T FALL FOR IT Invest in google ads, google reviews and boost your SEO, but stay far far away from weddingwire and The Knot

BEWARE - it's DIFFICULT to stop paying!!

BEWARE!!

I signed up for Wedding Wire to advertise my music services but VERY quickly realized that it was too much of a financial burden for me during that time. I called within 3 days of signing up to ask for my money back, but they told me they could not issue a refund. I UNDERSTOOD THAT, I signed up for the service and had paid. BUT the rep insisted that by my phone conversation that I had stopped the service. I spoke to 2 ADDITONAL reps after that and they said the same thing.

Fast forward one month later, I still got charged again. I contacted my bank and they issued a credit as I disputed the claim. I changed my card number so that they didn't have my info. I even emailed my rep and her manager to have written assurance... but I never heard back over email. (Still no response to this day)

Fast forward one month later, I get a call from a new rep saying that they were unable to process my payment (because I had changed my card). I have receipts of emails and calls, but since I hadn't "CANCELED ON THE WEBSITE 10 DAYS BEFORE THE NEXT BILLING CYCLE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AGAIN."

I just don't get it. They don't care about you, just your money. I paid the first month, but because I hadn't STOPPED SERVICE ON THEIR WEBSITE (which mind you, I had never been told about before) I was left with 2 additional payments that they are still demanding that I pay.

REALLY be cautious before you sign that dotted line...

Just horrible

Absolutely horrible. Trying to upload my guest list, I do not have Excel and will not be purchasing, therefore I cannot upload my guest list. They make it extremely difficult to do any of this. I was duped into thinking their seating chart tool would be simple.

Free listing is not publicly visible…Free listing is not publicly visible without payin

We signed up after seeing that WeddingWire offers a “free” vendor listing. While a free account can technically be created, we later learned through direct communication with their team that the listing is not public-facing and not visible to couples unless you pay for advertising.

In our case, the listing remained inactive and hidden unless we committed to a paid package. This wasn’t clearly explained upfront during signup and only became clear after follow-up emails with a sales representative.

This platform appears to be fully pay-to-play. Vendors should be aware that the free option does not result in a live, searchable listing for couples — it’s essentially an internal profile unless you upgrade.

Sharing this for transparency so other small businesses can make an informed decision.

This website is a scam for vendors. Do not sign up.

I am hopping on here to complain about WeddingPro and encourage other vendors NOT to join their platform. I wish someone would've told me these things while I was signing up!!

In May 2025, I signed up for WeddingPro (WW/TheKnot) as a way to get our business in front of new customers and potentially book more weddings. On my first sales call, the woman I spoke with made several promises to me about how WeddingPro would be a game-changer for my business, specifically since they only advertise to warm leads within the wedding industry. She showed me lots of numbers and data that looked really promising, and made me feel like this would be a good move for my business. While I definitely felt pressured into signing up on that initial sales call, I ultimately had a good feeling about working with the company, and I was willing to take the risk.

Fast forward to August 2025, when I cancelled the renewal of my WeddingPro contract due to an extreme lack of professionalism from the platform. At that point in time, I had not booked a single event after spending more than $1,600 for the "privilege" to list my business on their websites.

My main complaint as a business owner and former Marketing Manager?
➡️ I believe that businesses should have the option to discontinue ads at any time if they're not performing well. I like to feel that I am in control of my business and its performance. I like having the flexibility and option to pivot at any moment when unexpected needs arise, plans change, finances change, and our goals evolve. With WeddingPro, you don't have this option. Once you are locked into a 12-month contract, you cannot avoid the monthly advertising fee. You cannot pause or cancel your subscription. You give up control of your business.

Ultimately, WeddingPro comes across to me as a platform that OVERpromises value and massively UNDERdelivers to its vendors.
With other platforms, my go-to advertising strategy is to spend more money when ads are performing well, and turn ads off when they stop delivering results. I can't do this with WeddingPro. As mentioned previously, I am locked into a 12-month contract at $400/month that promises NO guaranteed clicks, NO minimum guaranteed leads, and NO results.

If I were given the option at any moment to pause or cancel my subscription (in other words: discontinue that $400 monthly payment), I don't think I would be so angry with the product. However, while I genuinely believe that WeddingPro could've be a good fit for my company (assuming the platform could deliver results), the fact that I am "locked in" to a 12-month contract is simply not okay.

Let me be clear: The Knot / Wedding Wire is a scam.

Given the ever-changing nature of our current economy (and the volatility of the wedding industry as a whole), it is not okay that they "lock in" their customers to a FAKE advertising subscription.

During the sign-up process, I was promised benefits such as "at least 3 bookings per week" according to my sales rep, who told me that (quote): "reaching sales goals through WeddingPro is a piece of cake."
I have not received enough value from this platform to justify the cost. My team hasn't broken even on what we've spent, and we have yet to recoup or break even on our advertising expenses.

In the 8 months we have been on the platform, I have spent about $3,210 and booked a total of three weddings. We earned a grand total of $1,925 in profit from those events. I am posting these numbers for the sake of transparency, because I have lost a total of $1,285 over the last 8 months after choosing to advertise with WeddingPro.

I believe that, despite my best efforts to optimize my storefront, I will likely continue to lose money as the months pass.

That is why I am posting this PSA: If you are interested in becoming a vendor with WeddingPro (AKA Wedding Wire / The Knot), I would advise you to think again. Their support team is not helpful, their billing tactics are sleezy, and I am frustrated to be LOSING money on a platform that promised it would help my business to grow.

CONTEXT: I am a wedding professional who has been in the industry for 5 years now. On average, my business makes about $2-5k in revenue per event. About $500-1k of that is profit. We book anywhere between 3-6 events per month.

Very Disappointed

Very Disappointed — No Real Clients After Spending Thousands

I’m very disappointed with WeddingWire. I paid thousands of dollars for my listing, but I never got any real clients from it. It feels like a complete waste of money.

I recently joined another wedding vendor platform called Evendorsvip, which costs much less — in fact, I paid for a whole year there for the price of just one month on WeddingWire — and I got one solid client within my first month!

I wish I had known sooner that there are better, more affordable options out there that actually deliver results.

Scammed, No value, customer support is in 6 feet grave yard you need to dig to find out there is nothing

Let me start with sales rep Jose Lopez Diaz jlopezdiaz at knot dot com. He promised many things like outstanding customer support guidance and technical support to integrate my business google review on wedding wire website. I trusted him and signed up as vendor with contract and started paying monthly.

I followed up with him after I subscribed as vendor only to find out he doesnt even care. The customer support is of no use either. Luckily I have in writing from him that I can terminate my contract any time. I waited for 2 to 3 weeks to see if I get any response of any sort. Nothing really.

This wedding wire pro and knot sites are not what they claim to be. I found it hard way that the leads you get are mostly bots and they don't respond after initial enquiry. It is merely a scam.

Please use google reviews as it's your best bet and closest to honest reviews you can find on any business.

I also heard vendors can contest and remove negative reviews from wedding wire and the knot which isn't morally correct.

Stat away from the site or anyone who represents it especially Jose.

They refuse to accept anything other…

They refuse to accept anything other than a 5 star review. Even after providing all the proof and verification they asked for. We had a bad experience with a vendor and they will not let us post the review. I would not use wedding wire as they make it seem like all the vendors are great, when in reality they are not. Avoid wedding wire and Party Down DJ's in Grand Rapids.

They support fraudsters and steal your money

WeddingPro / The Knot/WeddingWire is nothing but a greedy, predatory scam machine. They steal your money, refuse refunds, and when you try to resolve legitimate issues they drag things out, waste your time, and then hide behind “legal departments” instead of taking responsibility. Meanwhile, they keep harassing you with spam calls and emails to push resubscriptions you never asked for.

Their customer “support” is a disgrace — slow, dismissive, and absolutely useless. They don’t care about small business owners AT ALL. They support fraudsters, ignore your concerns, and then turn around and demand more money. It’s beyond unprofessional — it’s predatory.

This company exists only to exploit small businesses, drain your wallet, and frustrate you until you give up. They are not partners, they are parasites.

Save yourself the money, the stress, and the heartbreak — do NOT trust them, do NOT give them a single dollar. They are nothing but frauds hiding behind a glossy brand.

They must be sued and shut down immediately

They delete vendors accounts with no notice

After being a registered vendor on the WeddingWire (WeddingPro) platform for at least three years and maintaining only 5-star reviews, I suddenly found out that they deleted my account without any prior notice: no email or call, nothing. I cannot login, reset email doesnt arrive, their support is completely useless. I lost all excellent reviews from my couples with no possibility to even copy them. Terrible service!

Wedding venues DO NOT use Wedding Wire

Wedding venues DO NOT use Wedding Wire.
As a wedding venue, we strongly advise against using WeddingWire. Our experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and we want to ensure other venues are aware of what they may be getting into.
We were promised a high volume of inquiries that simply never materialized, making the cost of the service unjustifiable. The platform did not deliver the results that were marketed to us.
When we attempted to cancel our plan, we were given a “free month” we didn’t ask for and were told our subscription would automatically cancel afterward. Despite this, we were charged again the following month. Trying to resolve the issue was an exhausting process that involved going in circles with their support team just to finalize a simple cancellation.
This platform did not meet our expectations, and the way our cancellation was handled felt misleading at best. We do not recommend WeddingWire to any wedding venues.

Wedding wire removes negative reviews to benefit their paying vendors

I posted six or so reviews about vendors on wedding wire, thinking I was helping others. Similarly to so many others who posted here, wedding wire happily posted my ~5 positive reviews but refused to post my one negative review. They allowed the (presumably paying) vendor to protest it. So this site is not objective. Use yelp or Google reviews instead.

Working with Alli Koebbe was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. As someone who tends to ask a lot of questions before making a decision, I truly appreciated Alli’s patience, professionalism, and kindness throughout the entire process. She never made me feel rushed or like a burden — instead, she took the time to thoroughly answer every question and made sure I felt confident and informed at every step.

It’s rare to find someone in sales who genuinely listens and puts the customer first, and that’s exactly what Alli did. Her clear communication, prompt responses, and friendly demeanor made a potentially stressful process feel effortless. I walked away from the experience feeling not only satisfied, but genuinely grateful.

If you're lucky enough to have Alli Koebbe assist you, you're in the best hands possible. Highly recommend!

Expensive place to market your services

Entertainers, this is a very expensive place to market your services. We paid $254/month for three months, expecting dozens of leads. We received only four. We've gotten a LOT more traction through GigSalad and TheBash.
